Speaker 1 (00:00):
I'm a hustle hustle Lorrel and Kyles intillion.
Speaker 2 (00:07):
Yeah, here's some quick inspiration starts your day.
Speaker 3 (00:12):
No sect less day.
Speaker 4 (00:16):
I tell Kyles message to the day today is if
not you, then who?
Speaker 5 (00:21):
If not you, then who?
Speaker 4 (00:23):
I know all of us have seen it on social media,
on TV, or whatever the case may be. There's always
somebody saying or somebody should do this, or somebody needs
to get together and do that.
Speaker 5 (00:33):
Somebody needs to organize this. We get up there and
make it happen. If not you, then who.
Speaker 4 (00:38):
If everybody is saying that somebody should do something, somebody
has to take the initiative and actually do it right.
Stop sitting back and watching the world go by. Stop
wishing that things would go your way just because you
have the ability and everything you need to get it
popping right now. Man, you could be the thing that
draws other people in. You know, the phrase goes, if
(00:58):
you build it, they will come. You could be the builder.
Speaker 2 (01:02):
Ain't that from Bruce Almighty?
Speaker 5 (01:04):
It might be, It doesn't matter.
Speaker 4 (01:05):
The point is, at the end of the day, stop waiting,
wishing and watching for other people to get things done
when you have the ability to make it.
Speaker 5 (01:13):
Happen for yourself. You are fully equipped. Kyle's message of
the day today is if not you, then who.
Speaker 2 (01:19):
I love that and mine is simple.
Speaker 6 (01:22):
The road to success is always just like in reial
life under Construction.
Speaker 7 (01:30):

is that process when it comes to you having to
switch up a little bit? You don't want from being
an innocent kid to now y'all growing into your own
as adults.
Speaker 9 (03:03):
I think it's really just our imitating life, cause you know,
like you just take from real life, you grow up,
you know, And I feel like, like, like y'all see
him grow up on screen, Like when I started, I
was like seventeen. I'm twenty now that's only three years.
When I f you're really different from yeah, twenty, So
he's gonna take your real life experiences and put it.
Speaker 2 (03:20):
In the character.
Speaker 6 (03:21):
When it comes to like, y'all characters aside from your
personal lives, people are been growing y'all been growing up
with us, and we feel like we really know y'all
to be those people. Do people kind of get y'all misconstrued,
thinking that that's your all the time reality.
Speaker 3 (03:36):
All the time. The fans definitely be too deep in.
Speaker 5 (03:38):
But at the same time, let's let us know we're
doing our job.

Yeah, So what would be something would happen stopped at
church airports?
Speaker 3 (03:47):
No, like it's crazy.
Speaker 6 (03:49):
What's something that is similar to your character and then
you that you would say?
Speaker 5 (03:55):
For me, I probably said to say, me and Jake
just vote each other.
Speaker 2 (03:59):
I could see. I could see that.
Speaker 9 (04:02):
I would say, me and there I love a girls.
Speaker 1 (04:05):
I believe what we're supposed to. I definitely got a
short fuse. But also just like that redemption, that that fire,
that dog I want to keep going.
Speaker 10 (04:16):
Yeah, I would say I resonate well with the father's side,
with me being a parent of too, you know what
I mean, Like I'm a family.
Speaker 3 (04:22):
Worded person, So just connecting with that side for sure.
Speaker 9 (04:25):

they shot and all that good stuff. Man, I'll be
saying crazy stuff in the day, like what tell me something?
Speaker 10 (04:32):

He don't down the big bro. They don't play. Got
an issue with Loriel and Kyle. Are gonna give you
some sound advice. It's sounding to help a hustler on
a morning hustle.
Speaker 4 (06:40):
It's the morning hustle with Loreel and Kyle Santelene Alton
Walker's with us. Listen a textcash and seven one zero
zero sevens so you can qualify to win a thousand dollars.
Speaker 2 (06:49):
And here with all of his eyebrows.
Speaker 6 (06:51):
I Mike, we were talking about Cynthia Reva and I
just want her to grow her eyebrow.
Speaker 2 (07:01):
Tie of these eyebrowless people.
Speaker 4 (07:06):
Doja cat died, they could get her in help a hustler.
Speaker 6 (07:16):
I wish that was the help of hustler today, but
instead we have Natalia. Okay, So Natalia has been dating
this man for four months, and she said, honestly, it
has been the best four months I ever had.
Speaker 2 (07:28):
With a dude.
Speaker 6 (07:29):
He treats me like a queen. Nice trips, nice dinners, gifts,
the whole nine yards. I was really thinking, Okay, maybe
I finally got me a good one. So for the
first time, he finally invites me to his house. Now,
keep in mind, we had this little agreement not to
go to each other's place until we got serious, because
we were trying to avoid a certain temptation. Plus I
(07:53):
live with my parents and my daddy is not about
to let this man stay over. So I was like, okay,
cool up to his house. And it is nice, big, beautiful,
giving grown man energy. I'm impressed. He gives me a
little tour. He takes me downstairs to this fully furnished
basement and it has a kitchen, couch, the whole setup.
(08:16):
We chilling, things start heating up, we kissing, and I
just know what's about to happen, and then out of nowhere,
his mama's voice comes through the ring can talking about baby,
can you take out the chicken out of the freezer
so I could cook it for dinner. Later turns out
this man lives in his mama's basement. So now we're
(08:36):
arguing because I straight up told him. You could have
just told me you live with your mother. I mean,
who wants to be out here today in a grown
man living in his mother's basement. And then this man
has the nerve to say, well, you have a room
at your parents' house.
Speaker 2 (08:49):
At least I have a full basement.
Speaker 5 (08:52):
Good point, sir?
Speaker 2 (08:53):
Are you dumb?
Speaker 6 (08:55):
Because we all know it's different when a woman lives
with her parents versus a man still living under his
mama's roof. And I could maybe understand if his mom
lived with him, but this is her house, not his.
And what's really blowing me is that I asked him
before where he lived and he told me that he
had his own plate, So now I felt like he lied.
(09:17):
Don't tell me, y'all? Is this a red flag? Should
I cut him off now before I waste any more time?
Speaker 2 (09:22):
Or am I being too hard on him?
Speaker 6 (09:24):
Because right now I feel like I need to run
before I found out if his mother is still doing
his laundry or not.
Speaker 2 (09:32):
What should I do?
Speaker 6 (09:33):
I know right, you ain't got to do it? What
should I Dotalia tripping?
Speaker 4 (09:39):
This ain't him in his mom's house. This is a
basement apartment. No not, here's a tenant.
Speaker 6 (09:45):
No it's no, no, no, how how you gonna give
a full tour to your mama's bedrooms?
Speaker 11 (09:54):
Like you?
Speaker 2 (09:55):
I know you had to act like and.
Speaker 6 (09:57):
Make it seem like that was your bedroom because.
Speaker 5 (09:59):
We're maybe they ain't going, maybe they ain't going.
Speaker 3 (10:01):
Her room was like, this is just a room, but
he has a.
Speaker 2 (10:04):
Tour, Like what kind of what was you showing a.
Speaker 3 (10:06):
Tour of upstairs?
Speaker 2 (10:07):
It's not your The toy should be the basement.
Speaker 5 (10:10):
I just got a kitchen in the basement. It's a
separate residence.
Speaker 2 (10:13):
You get a different entry.
Speaker 6 (10:18):
Then you're showing her upstairs for what hustlers?
Speaker 5 (10:20):
What y'all say?
Speaker 4 (10:21):
Man, let's see we can help Natalia out. What should
she do in the situation? Should she just let it
slide or should she get a bat of there six
six eighty six six forty seven eighty five three eight
let's talk about field a.
Speaker 2 (10:34):
Fab with the Morning Hustle.
Speaker 5 (10:36):
Yo, some morning.
Speaker 4 (10:37):
Hustle with Loreo and Kyle Santolian out to Walker's here. Listen, man,
you want to get down with one thousand dollars takes
cash to seven ones. There is zero seven so that
you can qualify for the thousand dollars cash grass.
Speaker 2 (10:47):
That's what y'all.
Speaker 6 (10:48):
We gotta app download it so you could take the Morning.
I had to want to go with you wherever you go.
Just search the Morning I had to app in the
app store.
Speaker 5 (10:56):
Absolutely all right, so you can listen.
Speaker 2 (10:57):
Absolutely get it.
Speaker 3 (10:58):
I get it.
Speaker 4 (10:59):
I like that you're trying to help out a hustler today.
Maybe one day you might need some help, but today
it's all about natalia situation.
Speaker 6 (11:05):
Absolutely, Natalia is going through it her dude that she's
been dating for four months. They've been going on nice trips, dinners,
all that good stuff. But it looks like when he
went to go give her a tour of his home,
he took her down to the furnished basement and then
that's when things got spicy. His mother's voice came through
(11:27):
the ring camera and she said, baby, take the chicken
out the freezer. Now, he never told her that he
lived with his mother. He made it seem as though
this was his own. This is his own house, you know.
So it looks like he's been living in his mama's
basement the whole time. What's worse right now, is it
that he lied about it, that he lives with his mom.
She also lives with her mom, but she told the truth.
Speaker 4 (11:50):
You're missing out one word when you get the whole description.
What basement, apartment?
Speaker 6 (11:54):
Come on, well, now, didn't say apartment, It said holy furnished.
I mean, yeah, your child, I'm making something that's not that's.
Speaker 3 (12:01):
What we see. We see, all.
Speaker 2 (12:03):
Right, that's not what he said.
Speaker 6 (12:04):
He showed a tour of the entire home, making her
believe that it was him.
Speaker 2 (12:08):
All right, Hustlers lying.
Speaker 5 (12:10):
What since she do? What are your thoughts on this?
Speaker 4 (12:12):
Eight six six Hustle eight eight sixty six four eight
seven eight five three eight. Let's go to little sis Sancy.
Speaker 2 (12:17):
What you say, bro, here's what I Here's what I'll
say about the situation.
Speaker 5 (12:20):
First of all, Shorty cannot talk.
Speaker 2 (12:22):
Is she still living with her mama? I think they
need to have a conversation to figure out what's going on,
why is he still staying there? He may have went
through a financial thing.
Speaker 5 (12:30):
We might have just needed to.
Speaker 2 (12:31):
Sit back, and you know that his money real quick.
Speaker 6 (12:34):
Now I will say that him lying about having his
own spot, that that.
Speaker 2 (12:38):
Cut is a red clay.
Speaker 4 (12:40):
But put down and talk with him before you actually
jip up through because it's the economy right now.
Speaker 2 (12:45):
I'd rather go live with my mama do in my
own fuck how much I'm not have a day life
of basements.
Speaker 6 (12:51):
For me, which I'm not mad at. But you made
the best point. The fact that not only is he lying,
he stood on the lie.
Speaker 12 (12:59):
That's where I dear.
Speaker 2 (13:00):
You can't go said lion. Is the issue not from
the mama's house.
Speaker 4 (13:05):
I'm not mad about that. He was just a little nervous.
He should have been more forthright. You know, you know
she was not nervous. He kept the liar.
Speaker 3 (13:11):
It should have wasn't a life. If you look at
an apartment, you look like an apartment building. There's other buildings.
You don't say all we live together with the right
so there is Mama is his neighbor.
Speaker 5 (13:25):
Mama is that she got the upstairs neighbors.
Speaker 4 (13:27):
Second, the second lives in her baby apartment.
Speaker 6 (13:34):
I tell y'all liing, just like this man an apartment.
Speaker 5 (13:40):
Which I'll about to tell you what y'all say, live apartment.
Speaker 2 (13:45):
A fab with the morning hustle. Natalia got her boo.
Speaker 6 (13:48):
They've been together for four months and she currently lives
with her parents. Right, Well, it looks like she took
her over to his home that he claimed he had
and she found out that he's been lying the whole time.
Not only does he not live alone, but he lives
with his mother. He gave her a grand tour and
(14:09):
never mentioned it to her, and so she was leaving
outside of.
Speaker 2 (14:12):
The home and on the ring cam the mom was like, yo,
like they're checking out before you leave. She's like, who's that?
Speaker 7 (14:20):
He?
Speaker 4 (14:20):
Like, my mama, she stay here too. So now she
wants to know what to do. Should she continue to
date this guy or just get.
Speaker 6 (14:28):
No, not a guy, don't call my guy? Should she
continue to date this liar? Oh my goodness, Terry and Delaware,
what do you say?
Speaker 13 (14:34):
So?
Speaker 2 (14:34):
I know you guys are laughing, and I was laughing. However,
if we took take a look at the.
Speaker 11 (14:39):
Economic status of what's going on out here in the world,
I completely.
Speaker 9 (14:43):
Understand why this young man is living in his basement.
Speaker 13 (14:46):
I do think he should have been transparent.
Speaker 3 (14:49):
Then that's when you say that, however, I.
Speaker 4 (14:51):
Understand sometimes you got to just feed the information alone slowly,
like if you'd have told her that up front, she
might not have never came over.
Speaker 2 (14:58):
Or if you told her during the tour he's running her.
I think it's his house.
Speaker 12 (15:06):
Months.
Speaker 2 (15:07):
Yeah, but the tour was that same day.
Speaker 4 (15:10):
Oh lord eighty sixteen eighty sixty four eight seven eight
five three eight hustlers, What should n't Italia.
Speaker 2 (15:18):
Do with the Morning Hustle?
Speaker 5 (15:22):
Doing our part to help out our hustlers.
Speaker 4 (15:24):
Baby, it's the Morning Hustle Loreelle Kyle, Santillian Alton Walkers
within us And if you want to win a thousand dollars,
text cash to seven one zero zero seven.
Speaker 5 (15:32):
That's how you qualify for the cash Grass.
Speaker 6 (15:35):
That's right, And make sure you get out your phone
and download the Morning Hustle app free and you can
take them on a hustle wherever you go.
Speaker 4 (15:43):
When we say we're trying to help out a hustler today,
we're trying to help out Natalia.
Speaker 6 (15:47):
Natalia Goha guy that she's been with for a few
months now, I'll say about four. Right, Well, it looks
like she thought she hit the jackpie. He took her
on a lot of nice dates, trips, all kind of stuff.
Speaker 2 (15:59):
Even it took her to do by, can't believe it. Well.
She then finally went to his home.
Speaker 6 (16:06):
He gave her a grand tour, and on the way
out the ring cam, she heard a voice and the
boy said, hey, take the chicken out before you before
y'all head out. He's like, who's that. He's like, that's
my mom. By the way, this is her house. Yeah,
and I live in a basement.
Speaker 5 (16:25):
Yeah, a basement apartment.
Speaker 6 (16:26):
No, no, no, it wasn't a basement apartment. He just
lives in a fully furnished basement. He's a liar. He
showed her the tour of this house, having her to
believe it was his un some grown man stuff.
Speaker 3 (16:37):
Apiciate.
Speaker 6 (16:39):
She know the chicken was frozen. She went home to
her mama house and ate the chicken. Both of them
live with their mama.
Speaker 4 (16:46):
It's okay, right, So we're trying to get your advice
for her because she's considering not messing with this guy.
No more hustlers, or should she keep it going. I mean,
would you rather go on the trips or rather him
have his own apartment?
Speaker 6 (16:56):
Well, I'd rather him tell the truth when he tells me.
Speaker 5 (16:58):
Things, all right? Eight six success? So eight eight six six?
Speaker 2 (17:00):
Foe lie to you this bag?
Speaker 6 (17:07):
I mean, seriously, if somebody lied to you about something
and kept the lie going, do you feel and if
okay to y'all, y'all feel like this is small, but
I don't. I think you gave me a whole tour
and told me that this was your home.
Speaker 2 (17:20):
You're a liar?
Speaker 11 (17:28):
Yeah?
Speaker 2 (17:29):
Nothing?
Speaker 5 (17:30):
Oh my god, yes, Isiah Charlie, what you say? Nothing?
Speaker 4 (17:36):
Perfectly?
Speaker 12 (17:36):
I think she tripped him because I think the reason
he's able to take her on those nice trips in
those nice states is because he's staying with his mom
space and she's not in a really different situation because.
Speaker 2 (17:47):
She's staying with her parents exactly.
Speaker 12 (17:49):
So I think she should leave just so he can
find a better woman.
Speaker 3 (17:52):
Oh, you sound like you get people, girl.
Speaker 6 (17:59):
Why do I feel like he's irresponsible doing that?
Speaker 2 (18:02):
Though?
Speaker 3 (18:02):
Well, we don't know how much. Get him money and.
Speaker 6 (18:04):
Save it though, Like you take a high dates and
you should be getting your money together to get your
crib but it's.
Speaker 4 (18:09):
Possible that he's saving enough money not having his own apartment,
that he could take some trips and still be putting
money away.
Speaker 2 (18:15):
No, take that money and save that money.
Speaker 3 (18:18):
I just keep it going.
Speaker 4 (18:18):
Man hustles on the line. Right now, let's take in
with Catalea in Southeast. What you say.
Speaker 11 (18:23):
I really think she needs to give him a chance.
I think she needs to hear him out. She's getting
ready to pass upon her blessing.
Speaker 3 (18:30):
Because I just want you to keep talking. I like
your accent.
Speaker 2 (18:39):
Yeah, to have sex act in the basement.
Speaker 6 (18:42):
Oh no, you yeah, sex with your mama.
Speaker 11 (18:46):
No sound proof that man really get to that point
where he needs to have sex with her, then he
needs to get a room somewhere.
Speaker 2 (18:55):
Thank you. Your mama doesn't.
Speaker 3 (18:58):
Need to be all the way on the.
Speaker 5 (19:01):
Exactly.
Speaker 3 (19:05):
She's not the man, none of that, None of.
Speaker 2 (19:07):
It sleep difference.
Speaker 11 (19:11):
It's either that or I'm sorry, but it's either that
or he needs to give her some you know, nightclill
or something.
Speaker 5 (19:24):
That's how you're doing in London. I'm a scorpio, know
how to get it.
Speaker 11 (19:31):
Yeah, I get it in where I can yea.
Speaker 5 (19:37):
Hopefully in the time you can straighten this thing out man.
Speaker 4 (19:39):
You don't want to lose a good man over something
as small as where he sleeps at night.
Speaker 6 (19:42):
If a good man is a lion man, then keep him,
keep the.
Speaker 5 (19:48):
All right man.
Speaker 4 (19:49):
You want to comment on this further, hit us up
on our I g at Morning Hustle Show.

Will be down with your favorite artists and entertainers and
some that are new. The Lowdown presents a fireside chat
with low I.
Speaker 2 (20:10):
Got Kirk Franklin, Yeah who?
Speaker 3 (20:13):
People say, who you got? Who you got?
Speaker 2 (20:16):
What's going on with Queen?
Speaker 6 (20:19):
Thank you so much for coming and sitting down with
me today.
Speaker 2 (20:23):
You have a brand new single.
Speaker 14 (20:25):
Brand new single, and do it again. For people that
get a little spiritual amnesia. You know what I'm saying
that you know, something good happens in their life and
then when bad things come they worry if God will
pull up again.
Speaker 3 (20:37):
But you know he does spend the block.
Speaker 6 (20:39):
He's definitely always there looking out for you too as well.
Speaker 2 (20:42):
Most and that's.
Speaker 6 (20:44):
Basically because you are making sure you're keeping Jesus name
out there because they trying out here and you have
a lot of people you're fighting against these devils inside
and inside and outside, and so how when you see
these younger the younger generations, but they're getting into the
gospel rap and the inspirational wrap and the I actually
(21:08):
appreciate the fact that even though you know it might
be a different approach, it's the fact that we're still
keeping it going.
Speaker 2 (21:15):
Like you know, we're all these tiktoks.
Speaker 6 (21:17):
And this that, and there is a lot of things
that can get lust So do you find that what
now that you're pushing your new single. What's the difference
between before when you put out your first project opposed
to now.
Speaker 14 (21:30):
It's I think that the biggest difference is, more than anything,
is you just are always trying to fight against all
of the damage that sometimes religion has done to people.
It's because so many people get discouraged by what they
see coming from some church communities, some church pulpits, and
so a lot of times when you get to people,
they're already so broken, they're already so kind of hurt
(21:54):
by the church and by the church culture that you're
having to deconstruct that and show them someone like saying
to people that have heard about police just because they're
bad police, I don't mean that stop signed is bad.
You don't mean that that red light is bad. That
that is there to help you kind of protect your life.
And so that's that's, that's that's a lot of times
you can find yourself doing a lot of clean up. Yeah,
(22:16):
because of the damage there was stunned.
Speaker 6 (22:18):
The other day I saw a clip of Woodie mccrane's
and he got very emotional and it was almost like
he had to walk off to be emotional, you know.
And to see that you have done of kings, yes,
where you guys sit around and you dive deep into emotions,
deep into what's going on and feelings. How difficult is
(22:41):
that for you to get other people to be able
to be willing to open up on camera like that?
Speaker 2 (22:46):
Because when we see.
Speaker 6 (22:47):
Some of it, like I saw a younger actis they
shy away when it comes to showing emotions.
Speaker 14 (22:52):
Sometimes I think that you need by example, I think
that it starts from the top, that vulnerability and humility
should be the eating narrative, and in that leading narrative,
I think it creates a level of comfortability for other
men so that they can know that there's a safe
place for them too.
Speaker 2 (23:10):
Yeah, have you ever felt boxed.
Speaker 14 (23:11):
In, always always feel boxed. I mean I come from
a religious community. Of course I'm going to feel boxed in.
You know, I've just been blessed to now be around
long enough that I know the difference between dogma and relationship.
Speaker 2 (23:29):
Yeah, thank you.
Speaker 6 (23:30):
So much for everything that you do just by the
culture as a whole.
Speaker 2 (23:34):
And we love you so much, mister coach Franklin, thank you.
Speaker 3 (23:37):
Quinn, Good morning, hose of cash Crown.

Speaker 6 (25:51):

a little bit more time. So which forms over an
ocean a hurricane or a tornado?
Speaker 2 (26:03):
A hurricane? And I knew that was wrong as soon
as that's good, So you.
Speaker 6 (26:07):
Probably was thinking about that and I might have slowed
you down a little bit. Yeah, the state that was
the first to succeed.
Speaker 2 (26:13):
From the Union in eighteen sixty.
Speaker 6 (26:15):
The crazy thing is, I was gonna give you this answer,
but I was like, cent, you're in North Carolina, then
you would know.
Speaker 2 (26:21):
It's South Carolina.
Speaker 6 (26:23):
I just figured that the Carolinas was going to be,
you know, holding it down today. But you did, but
only for seven, Right, that's seventy dollars, which is still good.
Speaker 9 (26:33):

Speaker 2 (26:33):

Yes, Yes, This week on the Morning Bustle, Loril will
be sitting down with your favorite artists and entertainers and
some that are new. The Lowdown presents a fireside chat
with low Joy.
Speaker 13 (27:15):
Taylor is in the building, y'all, making people mad, making
people mad.
Speaker 2 (27:20):
I love it. Keep doing it, go.
Speaker 6 (27:24):
Because it's just like the guys be so upset, you
ruffle feathers.
Speaker 13 (27:29):
But you know what, the guys be upset and then
they be upset at the other guys who aren't upset.
Speaker 2 (27:35):
And you know, I will say, like, having.
Speaker 13 (27:38):
Worked in sports for most of my career, obviously we
have a lot of male fans.
Speaker 2 (27:43):
Yeah, and you know they held me down to.
Speaker 13 (27:45):
I can't you know in this gender wars, I will
I'll I don't quote me that I said nice things
about men, but.
Speaker 2 (27:52):
You know they do be hold me down to.
Speaker 5 (27:54):
Yeah.
Speaker 6 (27:54):
I said something the other day and I had to
ask you about this dating Adrian.
Speaker 2 (28:01):
I'm was rolling them go up to seventy Okay, hear
me out, hear me.
Speaker 6 (28:06):
No, it was seventy seventy.
Speaker 2 (28:09):
That's not insane. But hear me out, hear me out. No,
there has to be a limit.
Speaker 13 (28:16):
Listen, Denzel is married, so we don't talk about you.
Speaker 6 (28:20):
We can't talk about but Denzel is sixty eight years old.
But that's Denzel. He doesn't have age, correct, but he
is literally sixty. Yeah, so you'at to talk all the
mess you want.
Speaker 13 (28:30):
But if a Denzel looking man with a good personality,
I'm just saying, you know the thing about I mean,
I'm thirty eight years old, so it's not like I'm
in my twenties, like I'm almost forty years old. So
I like to speak I like a grown man.
Speaker 6 (28:49):
But I love that about you because you lean into it.
You're never scared up. But how does it come to
like when you hear rummers, I know, you hear like
things that people say about you.
Speaker 2 (28:57):
How do you move above that?
Speaker 13 (28:59):
Well, I mean, we have stuff to do today, you know,
so the bills continue to come whether you're in a
good mood or not.
Speaker 2 (29:07):
People need things from you.
Speaker 13 (29:08):
We have families, we have boyfriends, we have friends, like
we have nieces and nephews. We have stuff to do
and just because you're going through a you know, a
chapter where people have stuff to say about you.
Speaker 2 (29:19):
Does not mean that you can stop like it's Quitting
is not an option.
Speaker 13 (29:23):
Laying down is not an option, and that can be exhausting.
But that's the world we chose to live in like this,
this is what it is.
Speaker 2 (29:31):
That's what the business is. It's not new.
Speaker 13 (29:33):
I mean, people have been dealing with negativity and rumors
and you know, terrible things since the business has existed.
So it's really about having people that know you and
love you. And I am very grateful that I have
an amazing support system. I have an amazing family, and
I have people that knew me before this, so they
(29:54):
know who I am and what I stand for and
what I've been consistent on my whole life. And those
are the opinions that matter to me. And when they
tell me I need to get it together, I'll listen
to them. Yeah, everyone else for ken as it is Hiday.
Speaker 6 (30:07):
It's hider for the beautiful women, you know, because they
automatically just come and assume certain things. So do you
feel the need to have to speak up to those
things that you just let that go?
Speaker 11 (30:16):
Now?
Speaker 2 (30:16):
I do not feel the need to litigate anything.
Speaker 13 (30:21):
One thing I know is we are in a post
truth society.
Speaker 2 (30:24):
The truth is irrelevant. That's right, masterly irrelevant.
Speaker 13 (30:28):
Like guys the sun is in the sky, but what
if they the truth. We are in a post true society.
So you can defend yourself. You can come out and
say something and people will take that statement and put
it with She said this on the two thousand and
six pot y'all got it, and the truth in the
(30:48):
ends wins. So I'm cool.
Speaker 6 (30:52):
Yeah, thank you so much, Jamai sala, thank you, seventy
three year old slide in the DM Oh.
Speaker 5 (30:57):
No, all right, time to get to it. You know
what it is.
Speaker 4 (31:02):
It's the morning a hustle with Lorriale and Kyle Santillan. Yes,
we're home of that thousand dollars cash grab. But today
and right now, it's all about recognizing this young.
Speaker 5 (31:12):
Lady here today.
Speaker 4 (31:12):
Man See is globally recognized as being an expert in
the area of diversity, equity and inclusion. And I'm happy
to find out she's an HBCU graduate representing NOUTH to
Carolina's North Carolina Central University. For those to be exact,
y'all kind of like y'all might be like the second
or third best in North Carolina State, you know what
(31:33):
I mean? Uh, we gotta give it up for Miss Madufe,
our congotant in the filthy Yeah.
Speaker 5 (31:40):
Everyone, what's happening.
Speaker 14 (31:45):
There?
Speaker 4 (31:45):
Say you're an expert in the area of diversity, equity
and inclusion, and with everything going on right now with
this administration, like, what are some of the things that
you want to make sure that people know about diversity,
equity and inclusion?
Speaker 2 (31:57):
Yeah?
Speaker 15 (31:57):
So, one, I would say, the thing that makes me
a subject matter expert for this respective subject is the
fact that I had an opportunity to do this work
for close to twenty years in corporate America for two
major tech corporations. And with doing that work, you get
an opportunity to work on small initiatives and then see
(32:20):
those initiatives grow, But you also get a chance to
really understand the impact to people. And so one thing
that I think is truly important for people to understand
about this work is it matters. It has to continue,
and it's been going on for so long that corporations
tend to have knee jerk reactions when something happens like
(32:42):
a crisis, and as we saw with the murder of
George Floyd Corporations. They had those quick, knee jerk reactions
and then they go away, right, the window closes and
they're like, okay, back to business, right. But diversity, equity,
inclusion is smart business. It makes sense when you can
create environments for employees or customers or people to feel
(33:07):
seen and valued. And imagine coming here every day and
you all didn't see yourselves reflected in your work environment,
You'll be running out the door, right, And so that
work really does matter. And so I've had some amazing
opportunities to work with leaders all over the world, people
all over the world. But where it starts to mean
(33:29):
something different is when you have those conversations with people
who talk about I couldn't have children and my company
actually helped me with being able to get access to
benefits which.
Speaker 2 (33:40):
You have your own brand now and finally free, yes, okay,
finally free. Now how does that work for you?
Speaker 6 (33:48):
Because I don't know if you're able to say names,
can I say this? But how did that work for you?
Speaker 11 (33:53):
Now?
Speaker 6 (33:54):
Taking your product and selling it on a platform that
you once worked for, Yes, and they kind of fight,
they fired you behind and well.
Speaker 2 (34:05):
So I wasn't fired, So.
Speaker 3 (34:08):
Let me tell you.
Speaker 5 (34:10):
I'm sorry, I.
Speaker 6 (34:10):
Got that wrong. What the position? So, how did that
work out?
Speaker 3 (34:14):
Well?
Speaker 2 (34:14):
So it's restructuring.
Speaker 3 (34:17):
Position.
Speaker 5 (34:19):
That's the wonderful corporate term.
Speaker 15 (34:20):
Yes, yes, so I am actually not sold on Amazon.
I have my own website.
Speaker 5 (34:27):
Oh yeah.
Speaker 15 (34:28):
So I've completely funded my entire business bootstrapping and grassroots
because of the fact that finally Free is it's a
mission driven luxury at leisure company. And you know, when
I was doing this purpose driven work in the I
and understanding the impact of inclusion and people being seen,
(34:52):
I wanted to continue that work. I'm also fashion obsessed,
and so she could dress, y'all.
Speaker 2 (35:00):
I had to make sure.
Speaker 15 (35:01):
That whatever I did, I designed a collection that had
everyone in mind.
Speaker 5 (35:06):
Keep up the good work.
Speaker 2 (35:07):
Thank you.
Speaker 5 (35:08):
