The Morning Hustle crew kicks off the episode with high energy and a packed slate, diving straight into the biggest stories shaking up entertainment and hip-hop culture. The show opens with news that Mystikal has once again been denied bond for his 2022 rape and false imprisonment case — a moment that sparks an on-air debate about why some artists remain culturally “canceled” while others still get airplay.

The Lo’Down continues with a messy rumor swirling around Ja Rule, after allegedly getting into an altercation backstage during the Boy Is Mine Tour — reportedly involving associates of rapper Max B. Even the hosts are stunned at the idea of beef breaking out at a Brandy-and-Monica R&B show. The episode also features a visit from Bow Wow, who stops through to talk touring with B2K, his daughter’s “allowance,” and new music on the way. The conversation mixes jokes with real insight into how touring relationships evolve over decades. Finally, the crew covers Megan Thee Stallion’s emotional testimony in her ongoing defamation trial against blogger Tasha K, noting Megan’s claims of online harassment, therapy costs, and the alleged role of Tory Lanez’s father in fueling anti-Meg narratives.

the with the kids jumping a mother and her son.

Teachers Union a little bit later on on the pod
as well. All right, Plus what's going on with the

Speaker 4 (01:10):
I'm coming, I got all.

Speaker 3 (01:14):
We're gonna get to all of that today. Let's set
it off right now with Kyle's message of today.

Speaker 7 (01:19):
Am I.

Speaker 2 (01:22):
Here's some quick inspiration starts your day.

Speaker 4 (01:26):
Kyles Message today.

Speaker 3 (01:29):
Kyle's message today today is sometimes you gotta meet people
where they are. Sometimes you gotta meet people where they are.
Everybody doesn't have your experiences. Everybody doesn't have your education,
everybody doesn't have your background. You can't expect everybody to
know and act the same way that you would. You
can't expect everybody to even interpret things the way that

(01:51):
you do, because everybody's experiences are unique. You can't go
graduate from Harvard and they'll go talk to a high
school student and help and have them understand. But you
talk about nuclear physics and stuff.

Speaker 1 (02:02):
You know what I'm saying.

Speaker 3 (02:03):
You might have to break it down to a level
where a person who may have just graduated in high
school can understand certain things about what you're saying and
give them time to grow into the rest.

Speaker 1 (02:12):
You understand what I'm saying.

Speaker 3 (02:13):
If you grew up in the hood, if you grew
up in the suburbs, same thing.

Speaker 2 (02:16):
Man.

Speaker 3 (02:16):
Everybody has different experiences. It doesn't make them wrong. It
just means they just have not gone through the things
that you have. All Right, So when we're out here
and we're interacting with each other and we're meeting random people,
sometimes you just have to understand that people don't have
your background and your experiences. And Kyle's message of the
day today is try to meet people where they.

Speaker 5 (02:34):
Are, and mine is I didn't wake up on the
wrong side of the bed. Somebody just moved the good side.

Speaker 3 (02:43):
Alright, man, stick around, coming up. Nay no, enjoins us
on the SHP.

Speaker 1 (02:48):
She's on the way.

Speaker 4 (02:49):
Don't move.

Speaker 2 (02:50):
LORRYL has the loan down here, you go take load
down on hustle.

Speaker 3 (02:56):
Well, we already got you a radio king, Kyle. But
it looks like somebody I was trying to be crown kids.

Speaker 1 (03:01):
I don't like it, and I don't like it. We'll
get it carried away run. I don't like it.

Speaker 5 (03:06):
Okay, Well, it looks like there's a lot of people
that will be spending their holidays behind bars. Well at
least one in particular, Mystical has been denied by now
this is over his allegations of rape and false imprisonment.

Speaker 1 (03:23):
This came from a twenty twenty two incident.

Speaker 5 (03:25):
What's crazy about this is this is not his first
situation where he has been accused.

Speaker 1 (03:30):
Of ap A twenty twenty two incident.

Speaker 3 (03:32):
Yes, this is all I'm thinking about, easily, they two
thousand and two, two thousand and three.

Speaker 5 (03:37):
Yeah, because he already went to jail for that one.
This is a whole another case, a whole nother situation,
he said, I can't in my hand. Well, my problem
with this is that we know this about him his
next court day except for January. But my thing is
this Kanto r Keli, who is arguably one of the

(03:59):
greatest R and B singers of our time, cancel Diddy's music,
but we play mystical I just don't understand that.

Speaker 1 (04:07):
When I'm in the club, I do hear shake your ass.
They do play it.

Speaker 5 (04:10):
Nobody ever says don't play this like no way am
I saying the things that they have.

Speaker 1 (04:16):
Done I agree with.

Speaker 5 (04:17):
I think it's disgusting.

Speaker 1 (04:18):
I think they.

Speaker 5 (04:19):
Belong where they are, But I do believe that they
have some incredible music. And if you are going to
cancel one, you got to cancel them all. I don't
want to hear no more mystical. If we're not going
to hear no more R Kelly, well you go to Chicago,
you're gonna hear R Kelly only ever And when I'm
out stepping the name of love, Mike creep into this.
But I feel like people is frowned upon when you

(04:41):
play it. They are, but they're not scared to play danger.

Speaker 6 (04:47):
Nobody ever said something that's crazy when I just noticed
that shak As still be playing.

Speaker 5 (04:52):
Yeah, and it sounds like he's talking about what he's doing.
So it's like if people say that with R Kelly's,
it's like, I don't like it. But anyways, somebody else
that's in jail, y'all may not be too familiar with her.
The real households a Potomac Mio thora and she was
arrested and they're accusing her of furniture theft. Apparently she
moved out of an apartment and it was furnished, but

(05:13):
when she left, she apparently took the furniture with hers.

Speaker 1 (05:18):
That's not your furniture. What are you doing here?

Speaker 4 (05:21):
So the piece.

Speaker 5 (05:24):
Is the crazy thing that she got caught going through. Uh,
the airport t s A. They were like, yeah, you
got a warrant for RS. So while you're up there
getting your face skin, thinking you're about to go to Miami,
you might want to check on whatever warrant you have
because they can capture you right there at that airport.

Speaker 4 (05:41):
Get you.

Speaker 5 (05:42):
Oh I know, you know, mister gun carry a p
pal okay, and they will take that free check right.

Speaker 1 (05:48):
Away, ain't that right?

Speaker 7 (05:49):
King, the King of Gun?

Speaker 5 (05:57):
All right, Well, something else that we will be seeing anymore.
It's the Nissan Ultima. Can you believe it is being discontinued.

Speaker 4 (06:06):
I don't like that.

Speaker 1 (06:08):
I'm not gonna lie.

Speaker 5 (06:08):
When I was younger, I want to meet a Nissan
Ultimate Remember when they had the bubble lights lights when
they and it was like they had like this two
blue colors. I used to be like, that's my car.
I'm gonna get that when.

Speaker 1 (06:19):
I get older.

Speaker 3 (06:20):
They went from being a cool car to the Baby
Mama card Tho quickly.

Speaker 1 (06:23):
To the Uber X car. But now it won't be
a car at all.

Speaker 5 (06:28):
They plan on doubling down on EV's, which my problem
is with EV. Let's start switching to putting EV stations
at gas stations.

Speaker 1 (06:36):
Does anybody have a brun Some of.

Speaker 6 (06:38):
Them do, but it only really works you got it
at the house, Like if you got an EV and
you got to plug at the house, then you love.

Speaker 4 (06:44):
It, Laura.

Speaker 5 (06:44):
But I just don't understand why gas stations, all of
them wouldn't think to just right alongside. Let's line up
another line of EV and Tesla chargers. Sure either way, Last,
but not least, it looks like Tyler the Creator has
been named Apple Music's of the Year, and here's their quote.
His output throughout the end of two thousand and five

(07:04):
and more than just reinforce his position as one of
the most gifted creatures of this era, but it confirmed
him as a generational voice the artists brave enough to
follow the flight path of every musical great that preceded him,
an MC and producer who will always zig when expected
to zag, leaving the game better for it in the process.

(07:26):
And I will say between a sold out international tour,
two crazy ass albums, Grammy nominations, features on everybody's album
down to the clips who he pays homage to, which
we don't see from younger artists barely ever, I think
that they hit the nail on the head Tala that

(07:46):
created did his thing this year, and I can't really
see anybody solo artists that has done better than him.

Speaker 1 (07:53):
I mean, I can't disagree. I don't know enough of
his music to disagree, like you know what I mean.

Speaker 3 (07:58):
I do. I like him with interview, I like the
features he's on, you know what I mean. But I
haven't really dove into his music much.

Speaker 5 (08:05):
And this is with out of beef like because I
would say anybody beyond that would be Kendrick Lamar obviously,
but his whole thing is pretty much.

Speaker 1 (08:12):
Wrapped into Drake Beef.

Speaker 5 (08:13):
I'm talking about somebody that is just literally off a
creative process and whatever he got going on on his own,
Ill the creator did his thing. If you think it's
somebody else that deserves to be crowned and you want
to argue, at morn a Hustle show is where you
can find us. Okay, I'm Larry y'all. That's the lowdown.
You can follow me at Starr and Lurry y'al s

(08:33):
t A R R I N G l O R
E out or like I said, hit us up on
one a Hustle show.

Speaker 3 (08:38):
The stick Around coming up next out to Walker's gonna
let us know why God ain't please. Do you know
where you're going with that? Yes, Chicago? All right, we'll
talk about it in a few all right, we're hereuse me,
excuse me, social media think it's flinny, too ready to

(09:06):
get it, going to want to hustle, Orio Kyle said,
And Alter Walker is ready to let you know.

Speaker 1 (09:11):
Why God he ain't please.

Speaker 6 (09:14):
Yes, Yes, And I'm gonna take my time with this
one because this one really made me mad this week.
Everybody know about the mom and the nine year old
son being beat by the group of kids in Chicago.
God ain't please. What are we doing America? I never
saw the day coming where parents would be getting jumped
by elementary student.

Speaker 4 (09:35):
I remember coming up in elementary.

Speaker 6 (09:36):
I was scared of every adult in America because I
thought my mama gave everybody permission to whoop my ass.
Watching that video, I was so disappointed. I looked at
that dog on video, I saw three cars driving by.
I can imagine there was people in the house peeking
through the blinds, nobody stepping out to health this black
woman fight these.

Speaker 1 (09:57):
Little six year old kids. God ain't please.

Speaker 6 (10:00):
And now at the fact that they didn't step out
to help her. It's the fact that they were scared
to step out and help this black mother. People are
scared to check little six year old elementary kids, and
it's sad, and I don't blame them for being scared.
Did you not hear the story about the teacher who
got shot by the six year old elementary student?

Speaker 4 (10:18):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (10:19):
Yeah, a six year old shot a teacher, huh.

Speaker 6 (10:22):
And even in her case, she reported that this student
was a problem multiple times, and they let that little
boy keep coming back to school and he shot his teacher.

Speaker 4 (10:30):
And in this case in Chicago, the teachers reported.

Speaker 6 (10:34):
That this little boy was being bullied from what I heard,
and the administration didn't do a damn thing. So y'all
could get off the teachers here. It ain't the teacher's fault.
Teachers are doing their job. But you know why they
turning their back now on certain incidents because they're reporting
stuff and administration ain't backing them up. Parents, you're not
backing the teachers. Communities, you're not backing the teachers. They're
doing their job, and you know why they turning their

(10:54):
head because they don't get the support they need and
lack of support is the issue or why this mother
got jumped by elementary kids.

Speaker 4 (11:03):
What happened to the support of the community. What happened
to the village When you.

Speaker 6 (11:06):
Gave your neighbor the permission to discipline your child, that
teacher had the permission to discipline your child without you
interfering and taking enough for your child.

Speaker 4 (11:15):
The pastor had permission. What happened.

Speaker 6 (11:18):
Some even had permission to whoop your kids. I remember
back in the day, this right here was kidding. This
sound everybody, no this sound.

Speaker 1 (11:25):
I'm still all into a one pairent to step.

Speaker 4 (11:30):
Outside and do this.

Speaker 8 (11:31):
I ain't nobody do that in a minute A long time.
That woman would have been saved by this because you
get locked up now again, you get locked up for
even disciplining. So what I'm saying parents, this is how
you fix it. Get involved with your kids. You know
why this happened because one, you don't check your kids phone.

(11:51):
I can guarantee you these kids in Chicago got a
group check going. Oh best believe that's the information in
that phone of these kids preparing to jump this mother
in child at that bus stop.

Speaker 1 (12:01):
But do you know about it?

Speaker 2 (12:02):
No?

Speaker 4 (12:02):
Because you don't check it, you don't know what's going
on in their phones.

Speaker 6 (12:05):
I checked my nephew phone probably twice, maybe three times
a month. You be ready for what you see, because uh,
I found some stuff in my.

Speaker 1 (12:14):
Find out.

Speaker 4 (12:17):
My nephew growing up.

Speaker 6 (12:18):
I tell you that, but let me find out he
know about somebody mama about to get beat up by
some elementary kids. Like, that's ridiculous that y'all didn't know
that this was going on. But some of y'all parents
don't know what the hell going on with your kids. Huh,
what're the last time you've been up to your child school?
And not only parents going up to the school, but
business leaders, pastors, churches. When the last time you went

(12:41):
up to the high school that's in your community. It
takes a mother and a child getting they asked what
by six grades and elementary kids for the church to
go up there, for the community to go up there.
If they family spend money at your business, if you're
a church at they mama ever put an offering in
your offering plate.

Speaker 4 (12:56):
You should be up at that school.

Speaker 6 (12:58):
But now y'all want to show up after this kid
and mom get beat up, and I guarantee you next
week that parking lot at that high school gonna be empty.
And yes, it do start at home. Parents need to
step up, especially all those kids in Chicago. All y'all
parents need to stuff you know what, they really need
to punish the parents, that's what they need to do.

Speaker 4 (13:15):
Step up, Get involved with your kids life. You know
what's going on.

Speaker 6 (13:18):
Some of y'all don't even know your your your uh
your child's teach your name, which is crazy, which is crazy.

Speaker 4 (13:23):
We have to do better.

Speaker 8 (13:25):
Now.

Speaker 6 (13:25):
I'm glad that she raised some money. I think she
raised over three hundred some thousand dollars and the house
and everything.

Speaker 1 (13:34):
Shall help each other, but it turns.

Speaker 6 (13:37):
Help each And I saw somebody that tweeted that, you know, uh,
send send a child to beat her up so she
could get a house, and uh, oh shut up.

Speaker 4 (13:44):
And I ain't gonna lie to you if you got
any kids that want to beat me up.

Speaker 1 (13:49):
So everything you just set us out.

Speaker 4 (13:52):
For real.

Speaker 6 (13:53):
We have to do better and to start with community again. Parents,
start going to your school system, get involved with your kids,
being their business, check their phone. And we got to
get back to allowing other adults to discipline our kids.

Speaker 1 (14:05):
God will please please.

Speaker 4 (14:07):
There is out and Walker Lett and you know why
I like that.

Speaker 1 (14:10):
Please, that's and I'm talking about past the walker to
more hustle.

Speaker 4 (14:14):
Cash c.

Speaker 3 (14:16):
U sixty second top of that thousand dollars cash grab

Speaker 1 (14:21):
I want to hustle.

Speaker 3 (14:22):
Loreal Kyle seeing till In out to walker in the

the line right, we're part of the city. You in,
Bro Southwest Southwest is representing the day.

Speaker 1 (14:33):
Let's get to it.

Speaker 3 (14:35):
All right, here's the deal, Bro. You got sixty seconds
to answer to some questions. For every correct answer, you'll
get ten dollars. Get all ten, right, you win a
thousand dollars. If you don't know an answer, you can
say pass. We'll come back to that question as long
as we have time. But make sure the answer you
do give is the one that you want, because we
have to go with your first answer, and every single
last one of our judges Big Med does not play

(14:56):
about that. Okay, yeah, all right, cool, that'd be said.

Speaker 4 (14:59):
We want to hook you up.

Speaker 3 (15:00):
Loreal's got a free.

Speaker 1 (15:01):
Answer for you, and the answer is, kid, Hey, I do.

Speaker 7 (15:05):

Speaker 6 (15:06):
I got about forty dollars, right, here, right, you go
home about forty No, don't give him that, Darren, don't
get fifty dollars?

Speaker 7 (15:18):
What you got it?

Speaker 1 (15:19):
You do not want to go with that?

Speaker 4 (15:21):
All right?

Speaker 1 (15:22):
What's the answer that Loe just gave you? Okay, okay,
all right, cool, cool, just making sure you got that?

Speaker 4 (15:26):
All right?

Speaker 1 (15:27):
You ready to go?

Speaker 3 (15:28):
Yes, sir, let's get to it. The clock begins in
three to one.

Speaker 1 (15:33):
Here we go.

Speaker 3 (15:34):
Who is the youngest son of Kim Kardashian and Kanye West?

Speaker 7 (15:40):
Uh saint? What?

Speaker 1 (15:42):
What is nine plus eight.

Speaker 7 (15:45):
Seventeen?

Speaker 1 (15:46):
Who plays Medea in the movies Tyler Perry? What food
group is cheesing?

Speaker 4 (15:54):
Barry?

Speaker 1 (15:55):
Spell the word friend.

Speaker 7 (15:58):
F R I E?

Speaker 4 (15:59):
And what's the square root of eighty one.

Speaker 8 (16:04):
Nine?

Speaker 4 (16:05):
What is a baby goat called.

Speaker 7 (16:09):
Lamb?

Speaker 3 (16:10):
What do you call a group of stars that form
a patterns?

Speaker 1 (16:17):
What is sixty four divided by eight?

Speaker 7 (16:21):
Sixty eight?

Speaker 4 (16:23):
Cried one?

Speaker 7 (16:24):
It's eight.

Speaker 1 (16:26):
What do you call an animal that only eats plants?

Speaker 7 (16:31):
A herbivore?

Speaker 3 (16:33):
What do you call a group of stars that form
a pattern?

Speaker 4 (16:37):
Damn?

Speaker 1 (16:40):
Oh, I was about to say that was a lot
of time you said that.

Speaker 4 (16:43):
Yeah, I know, you know what's funny?

Speaker 1 (16:46):
You tried.

Speaker 5 (16:50):
You just sitting there on the rock your brain you
wanted to went off his own merriage this morning. It's okay,
well you dead better than Alison thought you would.

Speaker 1 (16:58):
What you got right more than you said what you say,
I said about forty fifty.

Speaker 4 (17:06):
More.

Speaker 5 (17:06):
He got way more right than that. Okay, yeah, exactly,
he's always wrong. Now, you didn't get the thousand dollars,
but you did pretty well. The youngest son of Kim
Ka and Kanye West, which they're just calling him yay now,
is somm Yeah, that's the next child that.

Speaker 3 (17:26):
You said nobody I wouldn't got.

Speaker 4 (17:28):
I would have got that one.

Speaker 1 (17:30):
Hold, I knew that crazy? All right? What is a
baby goat called that gave you this answer? You did
not use it, and it's a kid I want to know.

Speaker 7 (17:44):
I want to never know that.

Speaker 6 (17:45):
Well, that's why I gave it to you.

Speaker 5 (17:52):
Is the question, who's the son of Kim Kardashian and
Kanye West sony okay, that's what I would have said.

Speaker 2 (18:02):
I got it.

Speaker 1 (18:03):
Yeah, all right?

Speaker 5 (18:05):
Then it is what do you call a group of
stars that form a pattern a constellation? Do you remember
learning that I could have over there like Ryan's belt
and all that huh big dipper and all that. Yeah, yeah,
so one, two, three, four, five, six seven you got
seven brighte make me wrong.

Speaker 1 (18:23):
Seventy dollars ain't.

Speaker 6 (18:24):
Bad man, man, I'm feel good about my show manaos.

Speaker 3 (18:29):
I think you do every day. I think really you did?
You did, good man, seventy dollars. You represent a Southwest well.

Speaker 1 (18:35):
This morning, man, troll under your bridge.

Speaker 3 (18:39):
Appreciate all right, congratulations to you, Darren. You got seventy
dollars today in one thousand dollars cash grab. I all,
I thank you for everybody listening. If you want to
get down, you know what to do. Text the word
cash to seven one zero zero seven. You could be
up next on that thousand dollars cash grab.

Speaker 1 (18:53):
Lordel has a loanown.

Speaker 4 (18:55):
Here you go take load on the morning Hustle.

Speaker 3 (19:00):
It looks like mag the Stallion is still making crazy headlines.

Speaker 1 (19:04):
That's right.

Speaker 5 (19:04):
But first it looks like Fuji's Rapper Prize has been
sentenced and it's not good. Fourteen years in the federal jail.
Well at least that's like better than like eate jail,
is it?

Speaker 1 (19:20):
Yes? Okay, because like you got cable f yeah, worse.

Speaker 6 (19:29):
Not nice, but compared to walk around and everything. I
visit somebody and they don't. They didn't walk around.

Speaker 5 (19:34):
From It's just it's just different. The Feds, remember when
they said they sent the mobsters to the Feds, and
they were just like living the life, like you can
do something like that there. But I mean, I've never
been to jail, but I've been to jail to visit
people that's been in jail. Right, But you know, this
is all behind Prize while apparently being a spy and

(19:56):
the things that he did earned him one hundred and
twenty million dollars that they are saying is tied to
the election of Obama as well.

Speaker 3 (20:04):
Which is insane. Like nobody ever thought Prize, of all people,
would be involved in.

Speaker 4 (20:08):
Something like this.

Speaker 1 (20:09):
Yeah, like, how do you even know Obama?

Speaker 4 (20:12):
Right? That's crazy?

Speaker 5 (20:14):
And you know he allegedly has to pay sixty four
million of those dollars back. That's a good deal, you know,
I think so, I forgot about the fourteen years in jail.
But it's like he really got to steal like sixty
million dollars somewhere, right he was watching Harriet this spot.
How you think he came up with this? It was
like that's crazy. You can't like crazy anyway. You know

(20:37):
what else is crazy? You know what else is crazy.
They're saying that joh Rule got them pause put on
him at the Boy's Mind tour when they said the
boy is mind.

Speaker 1 (20:46):
This is not what they meant. They was like, Yo,
that boy me mind. Get him. The rumors out there.

Speaker 5 (20:52):
It's saying that it was Max B's crew, like two
dudes from his crew, which I don't think Max B
should be getting into any trouble after he just did
that long ass tuth like, not that it was him,
but even having being around people that's willing to fight
out of Brandy and Monica concert. What's up with all
this fighting at these R and B concerts, the more

(21:14):
hip hop shows.

Speaker 1 (21:14):
I guess I guess nothing is going wrong there.

Speaker 5 (21:17):
But either way, last, but not least, it looks like
Meg this Stallion, she is in court. Y'all know she's
going through a defamation case against a blogger that they
call Graham. So apparently we know Tory Lanez is tied
into this whole case. They're saying that Tory Lane's father
actually sent this woman thousands of dollars in between this

(21:40):
period of two years, and what Meg's claiming is this
is all because she composed a smear campaign against her,
people saying that she never was shot by Tory Lanez,
that she's lying and things.

Speaker 1 (21:54):
Of that nature.

Speaker 5 (21:55):
So due to that, they're saying that Meg apparently had
to get therapy. She spent two hundred and fifty thousand
dollars on it. She was going to therapy several times
a week, wanted to kill herself, like thoughts of suicide.

Speaker 1 (22:09):
And things like that, like I do.

Speaker 5 (22:11):
My heart does go out to make but this is
the second child and she had to even turn down opportunities. Allegedly,
she got offered a role for Call of Duty and
her character would have been like a shootable character, so
that gave her like pets.

Speaker 1 (22:26):
You know, people would have been trying to be funny.
You can't do stuff like that.

Speaker 5 (22:32):
Yeah, you probably would have been doing that and naming
yourself Kelsey.

Speaker 4 (22:36):
I wouldn't do that.

Speaker 5 (22:37):
But they're also saying that on these blogs. I don't
believe that it's true, but I'm gonna tell y'alloud have saw.
They said that Megan Clay Thompson got Elope like they
got married and he got her name tattooed somewhere.

Speaker 1 (22:53):
Y'all don't believe that.

Speaker 4 (22:54):
I mean, he's having the horrible season right now, so.

Speaker 6 (22:58):
That was definitely true, because that's what happen, depends when
you start locking. I don't know what Megi doing to
his three pointers, but he is definitely.

Speaker 1 (23:05):
Not dropping that thing on him. Shoot jamns this week
he's been doing too much, you know what I mean.

Speaker 5 (23:13):
I'm Larry, y'all. That's the lowdown. You can follow me
a starn Lauri y'all, l O r e out or
one Untle show.

Speaker 3 (23:19):
All right, stick around man bow wow a k A
Shad Moss to join us here on the Morning Hustle Show.

Speaker 1 (23:24):
Don't go nowhere field a vibe with the Morning Hustle.

Speaker 4 (23:29):
What up, y'all?

Speaker 3 (23:29):
The Morning Hustle Show, Lorio Kyle said, Tillian Alta walkers
here and he's Batman in front of the show. You know,
I might as well say, here's another guest host on
the show man. Yeah, everything you step.

Speaker 4 (23:40):
In so you do some hosting with and check come
with that guest.

Speaker 1 (23:44):
No, we ain't got it, but it well shod boss
what bro man?

Speaker 4 (23:53):
I've been good man, blessed my dad?

Speaker 1 (23:55):
Be clear I think now now we gotta go.

Speaker 4 (23:58):
Yeah, I mean yeah pretty much pretty much.

Speaker 1 (24:02):
Right, my dancing partner and everything she makes you every.

Speaker 4 (24:05):
Yeah, it's tough too.

Speaker 9 (24:06):
It's tough, you know. It's hard to keep up with
all the you know, throwing this circle and all. She
did one TikTok with me, like I had to she
feed me. I was like eating the air.

Speaker 1 (24:20):
You can't do that.

Speaker 9 (24:21):
I'm like, man, listen, man, I don't know, like I'm
I'll be in the crib on two K.

Speaker 1 (24:27):
I love y'all. I love y'all. TikTok, but you pay
her because like I read somewhere that you pay her,
that yild supports my baby girl. It's like every Friday
like a shock.

Speaker 4 (24:39):
I like that, like she worked, they going right to
We're going right to her.

Speaker 9 (24:45):
It go right to her if im and if I'm late,
if I if dad went out, or if I was
in the studio just working too hard or whatever Saturday.

Speaker 4 (24:51):
Morning, you must believe like I could, man, I got
I'll show you be Like my.

Speaker 1 (24:54):
Money is like man, what she like?

Speaker 4 (24:57):
What's up with that money?

Speaker 7 (25:02):
I love it?

Speaker 1 (25:03):
Did you get in a big check because you got
a big.

Speaker 4 (25:05):
Tour on the way, man, this is promo. I'm free,
This is promo.

Speaker 1 (25:12):
Yeah, she knows better than that.

Speaker 4 (25:15):
Yeah, But I'm excited though, I really am.

Speaker 2 (25:17):
You know.

Speaker 9 (25:18):
It's crazy because I feel like I was just here
with y'all. We were talking about me and Trade tour,
you know what it's like. That was just five months ago.
So to be able to come off for another successful
arena runs and now which I think, you know, this
run with with B two K, I believe this is
possibly gonna be the biggest one that we've done out
of you know, any of the past tours that I've
done with in like the past six years, just based

(25:39):
off the history. Yeah, when you talk about the screen
tour with that represents you got the King of the
Scream with me, you know, kind of Birthda and then
the Boys was right there with me, you know what
I mean. So to get B two K and bal
it ain't happened in twenty years and twenty plus, you
know what I'm saying. Within that time, they see me
and Trade, they see me oh you know what I mean.
Me and Oh cooked a couple of times together on
the Millennium tour. But to have it's a different type

(26:01):
of energy when you got four of them, you got
the dog, which is me, and you got us fire together.

Speaker 4 (26:07):
That's that's that's gonna be. That's gonna be. That's gonna
be real special.

Speaker 5 (26:10):
They y'all have a conversation because we know Be too
had a lot of controversy. They've been out on the road,
got into arguments and how to kind of stop, you know.

Speaker 4 (26:19):
I mean, that's that's that's that's gonna come with the game.
You know what I'm saying.

Speaker 9 (26:22):
I think anytime you spend enough time together, we in
the group years. I mean, that's similar with me and JD.
JD gonna always be my pops, you know what I'm saying.
People see me and him have our ups and downs
in public, and sometimes we don't want it to be
like that, but hey, it happens, you know what I mean.

Speaker 4 (26:35):
But Man, our group chat popping. I'm gonna go ahead, and.

Speaker 9 (26:39):
All four members me in there. We were talking every day,
were excited. The boys is ready. We're throwing ideas around
and like I said, yeah, me and the boys were
talking every day and it ain't no forceful like this.

Speaker 4 (26:50):
It ain't all right, y'all.

Speaker 9 (26:52):
We about to be on the road for four months,
let's come together for this that Like now it's like, yo,
we need to tap back in and like we really
came up together.

Speaker 1 (26:58):
Like back in the day to day, like back in
the day again.

Speaker 9 (27:01):
Yeah, And that's what makes it scary because if us
five is connecting like this already, just you know, how
the verbage and how we talking and just the creative
and everything we want to do.

Speaker 4 (27:11):
It definitely feel like Scream Tour two for Show.

Speaker 3 (27:14):
Hustlers stick around, bow Wow aka Shad Moss is here
with the Morning Hustle Show.

Speaker 4 (27:19):
We got more to talk about. Don't move.

Speaker 3 (27:24):
He Yo's to Morning Hustle. Lorio and Kyle Santillian out
and Walkers in the building and Shad Moss aka bow
Wow's in the building and you're here today talking about it.
But a lot of people thought it whitning happened twenty
years later. Man, it's the Boys for Life tour, right. Yeah,
So what was the thing that initiated the reunion?

Speaker 9 (27:43):
Yeah, I'm gonna get a credit to the to the
I'll get the credit to the guys. You know, we
was we were in La well before that. I was
already hearing like whispers around Like when me and Trey
was doing the Millennium Tour earlier this year that you know,
the Boys was getting back. I knew, you know what
I'm say. We were just trying to figure out how
would it be, and I knew that they was gonna

(28:04):
probably end up coming to me first off, like yo, bro,
And it happened that Actually the BT Awards when I
was when I was hosting the Red Carpet, I think
Raz was like, you know, we back together.

Speaker 4 (28:13):
We going on the road. We need the dog as
you coming, and they put me on the spot and
I'm like, oh, I just got off tour.

Speaker 9 (28:22):
I let me figure myut situation out and if we
can make it happen, we can make it happen. But
I feel like, you know, they see me pop up
with Brown at the Breeze Ball, a couple of dates rocking.

Speaker 4 (28:30):
Out with him.

Speaker 1 (28:30):
Hell, how was that one of those dates? Yeah?

Speaker 9 (28:33):
And then just getting back in rhythm again, and I
just feel like, now's the time. So it's like me
and Peter k that's just a whole other dynamic that
just brings everything back for a circle on the tours
called Boys for Life.

Speaker 3 (28:44):
It all started, it started, you know, started with us
bow Wow, was here with us on the Morning Hustle
Show when we come back. Since you're friends with all
these guys that can really sing, we got to find
out who you think has the best vocals since Mario
started all this damn trouble, all right now, Wow hanging
out with us right here on the Morning Hustle Show.

Speaker 1 (29:00):
Turn us up in the Morning Hustle, you.

Speaker 3 (29:06):
Know, some morning hustling with Lorio and Kyle saying to
in out and Walker here, Bow wow a k A
Shad mosses in the building and bow listen. Man, you're
friends with all of the guys, all the singers from
your era, and lo I think it's trying to put
them on the spot.

Speaker 5 (29:20):
Only you can decide this who has the best vocals
when it comes to mail, R and B singers.

Speaker 9 (29:29):
All right, I ain't gonna lie though, like I don't
work with all of them, you did, I don't work
with Mario. Me and Mario got some fire right now.
I mean Mario and Jeremi we got a record together.
Mario definitely can can Can can do his thing on
c B, can do his thing. I got number ones
with oh, so you know, I know a lot of people,

(29:50):
you know, try to try to flag bro, but hey,
he doing something right. We got number ones together, so
you know who else is saying to me? I mean
things that based out of all of the No, it's
only one number one spot. I ain't gonna lie like
for me, my ear different like and this ain't even
like no political type of answer. I just feel like
you go to you go to different R and b
artists for what you want. Yeah, you know what I'm saying, like,
and that's how I picked the R and B artists

(30:12):
that I want. I don't really like. It's some cats
that that can't sing, but if you put them on
the right record and for that, it's like, man, it
sound good, but he ain't really no singer. Some some
people are mellodic, some people are Caton's driven. Some people
are singers and singers.

Speaker 2 (30:24):
You know.

Speaker 9 (30:24):
Some people like to defer a singer from a singer.
But for me, I think everybody got their own little
thing that they do. If you want somebody to sing
you to the mom, Mario gonna do that. You want
an entertainer, you got, Oh he gonna do that.

Speaker 4 (30:34):
You know what I mean?

Speaker 9 (30:35):
Oh do things that a lot of cats can't do
Brown doing stuff. I hear that a lot of cats
can't do and I just like everybody, they own nothing
on sound. You want that dark trap rap, then you
go Brent faire As you go. You know what I'm saying,
You go black, you go. It's so many flavors of
R and B. Now it's almost like someone'st like hip hop.

Speaker 1 (30:51):
You got new music coming out, so you had to
give us that in.

Speaker 9 (30:54):
I know, and I rock with them too, and show
to Mario too, because when I saw it, I hear
I was like, boy, you know what this you know
what this is about?

Speaker 4 (31:04):
You know what was coming with this?

Speaker 9 (31:05):
And he was like, man, you know what's a hey man,
it is what it is bad. But I love everybody. Man,
all them guys is my bros. And I'm proud of
all of them. Use me on the charts to that
about to Yeah, it felt great. Were about to finally
drop the video to get ready for this boy to
get done with this? Yeah, which is crazy your schedules
and so we finally got that done. It's so much
in the can, it's so much cooking. Did everybody approved

(31:27):
the video that Yeah, we're good on this and were
good on this so I think the fans gonna love it,
and uh, you know, I kind of credit it to
the fans, you know. I put it like Team Breezy
and boy Our Nation directed this video. Honestly, that's kind
of how we did it. So it's kind of like
from theate I view. And then we got some more.
So we gotta I got a double album coming to
the R and B singer too, But we're gonna come.
That's why we're gonna touch back with Chris Brown. No,

(31:52):
it's with somebody else.

Speaker 3 (31:53):
It is.

Speaker 5 (31:57):
With somebody else with him you, Jeremiah, keep going, somebody
it's a woman.

Speaker 6 (32:04):
More, keep going, keep going, You're gonna get it out.
He's gonna blink different.

Speaker 1 (32:08):
Did I say the person already?

Speaker 4 (32:09):
Look at the time. We're gonna keep it at time?

Speaker 7 (32:12):
Is it Mario?

Speaker 1 (32:14):
One more? Did I say the person's name?

Speaker 4 (32:16):
Are you got what you said?

Speaker 1 (32:19):
Helped me out?

Speaker 3 (32:20):
We're gonna figure it out.

Speaker 1 (32:21):
Off. I'm trying to thank who I'm missing. We gonna
figure it out.

Speaker 4 (32:24):
Look, we appreciate you being back. We're gonna keep trying
to figure out.

Speaker 5 (32:29):
Kelly Kelly as crazy ASR.

Speaker 1 (32:33):
Kelly thold one of your songs be boy.

Speaker 7 (32:37):
He didn't know.

Speaker 9 (32:38):
Kels kept bad look man, Kels kept one honey, like
out of all these catch in the industry when they
come to doing business right, like legitimate, good business like.

Speaker 4 (32:46):
He definitely didn't take it from me.

Speaker 9 (32:48):
He called me and was like, yo, bro, if you're
not gonna use it like it'd be like, I don't
want this to sit like, let me get this on
a flirt joint and kept the one honey.

Speaker 4 (32:56):
I'm gonna leave your writing credit on here. You're gonna
be credited if we go number one, just count for you.
You can rest your life on this record. He did
that for me and I had no complaints.

Speaker 9 (33:07):
So even though it was two versions, of course the
song is mine that I'm the original, But then once
he remixed it and had tip and T paint on it,
if you look, I'm still credit as a writer song.

Speaker 1 (33:16):
Still get money off of that record. Man. We appreciate
you being here and bout relations is another tour.

Speaker 4 (33:23):
Appreciate it. You would beat.

Speaker 1 (33:26):
No figure it out, man.

Speaker 4 (33:33):
Come on, she watches it so you don't have to.

Speaker 1 (33:41):
Here are loans shows.

Speaker 3 (33:43):
It's the morning hustling with Lorial and Kyle saying to
you and Alton Walkers here and it's trying to find
out what to watch this weekend and get in the
loose shoes.

Speaker 5 (33:51):
That's right, and you know I'm gonna give you all
the shows and movies you need to know according to
who me lo Now first and foremost, we do want
a shot out chat with Bozeman, who got his star
on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. And there was everybody
from the cast. Black Panther was there, Viola Davis was there,

(34:12):
Michael B. Jordan was there, and Ryan Kugeler spoke.

Speaker 4 (34:15):
Well, I think of child with bols.

Speaker 10 (34:17):
I think of three things, leadership, teaching, and generash. He
was an incredible leader. He was fearless, affirmed yet gentleman
his leadership and he said something during that conversation I
never forgot. He said something happened and he shit, Ryan,
when this happened, I had to really.

Speaker 4 (34:31):
Manage my emotions. I never forgot that.

Speaker 10 (34:33):
I never heard these worst ships together, manage your emotions.

Speaker 4 (34:36):
Cited so my children every day.

Speaker 5 (34:38):
That's right, and he was very emotional. Obviously a lot
of people out there was. I'm pretty sure it has
to do with the fact that they didn't know that
he was battling this this illness, you know, and at
least he could get his star now.

Speaker 1 (34:52):
But they were super said his wife put.

Speaker 5 (34:54):
His shoes on the star so he could be the first,
you know, feat that touched the star, that walk on
the star.

Speaker 1 (35:01):
So rest in peace, Chadwick Bowsman.

Speaker 2 (35:04):
You know.

Speaker 5 (35:05):
So from black excellence to white trash, Kevin Spacey is
now homeless.

Speaker 1 (35:11):
Okay.

Speaker 5 (35:11):
Now, remember all those reports of him doing something sexually
inappropriate with underaged boys and things like that, But it
looks like that affected his career and he is now homeless.
He is living from hotels to airbnbs because he can't
land a gig.

Speaker 4 (35:32):
He was on top of the world with that show too.

Speaker 1 (35:34):
Oh that show was good. I'm so mad.

Speaker 5 (35:39):
It was House of Cars and Claire, that girl, Claire
was good and that thing. Let's move on. That was
on Netflix. Let's talk about Netflix. There's the Selena documentary
that a lot of people are talking about. It's actually
moved up to the number one slot. At first, I'm like,
all right, we know this story, but it is good.
There's some details in there that we haven't heard yet.
I'm not going to give them to you because another

(36:00):
blow it, but the woman was denied bail.

Speaker 1 (36:03):
You know, she was sentenced to life.

Speaker 5 (36:05):
The woman that killed Selena, who was the president of
her fan club, worked for as her assistant, but she
was denied bail on the thirtieth anniversary of Selena's death.

Speaker 1 (36:17):
What is the odds to the dead to the day.
So yeah, another five years she'll have to wait to
be up for to see if she can get out
of jail. Hopefully they never get her out of there.

Speaker 5 (36:30):
So since we're talking about Mexico with Selena, it looks
like Miss Mexico is the winner of Miss Universe. And
if y'all remember this is the one that got scolded
by that man and all the women walked out. Remember,
but that's not what everybody's talking about. Everybody's talking about
poor mister maca manon.

Speaker 1 (36:51):
She gone off the stage. She's gone tumble down. She fell,
she fell and it was a bad fault too. Damn
man with the mess. Melissa came back And that's not fun.
That's he can make that he's just making. He can

(37:12):
make that joke.

Speaker 7 (37:13):
Bro.

Speaker 1 (37:13):
We we are praying for anybody affected by that. Right now.
A show that I love, I told you how to
watch it and I was going to check it out.

Speaker 5 (37:21):
Pluribus it's called and it's from the creators of Breaking Bad.
It's on Apple TV right now, the number one series.

Speaker 4 (37:28):
I like it.

Speaker 5 (37:28):
It's like four or five episodes in. Definitely check it out.
If you're going to the movies this weekend. Wick it
for good. We know Ariana Grande and Cynthia Revo can't
keep their hands off of each other, and Cynthia is
explaining why.

Speaker 7 (37:41):
I think.

Speaker 1 (37:41):
I'm I'm sort of used to it now.

Speaker 11 (37:44):
I'm sort of If it doesn't if it's not like connected,
I'm like, what's wrong, what's happening? We walk hand in
hand very often, Like if we're not walking hand in hand,
we'll find each other somewhere. I think we get a
bit afraid of physical connection. I think we assume that
physical connection can only the romantic, and I think we
don't give enough credit to how we communicate with our

(38:04):
friends physically.

Speaker 1 (38:06):
No, I'm not that touchy Faily. They're definitely sleeping a
lot of people. I say, she's literally saying they're not.

Speaker 7 (38:14):
And then here we go.

Speaker 1 (38:16):
Whatever.

Speaker 5 (38:19):
Well, Kyle's pick of the week is Lynn Man that's
on Paramount Plus Billy, Bob thor and stars and that
this is the second season coming back Squid Games. The
challenge would be Elton's Netflix pick. You got me to
watch that the other day?

Speaker 4 (38:34):
Yeah, I'm going I definitely signed up for it.

Speaker 1 (38:39):
My pick of the week is gonna be big.

Speaker 5 (38:41):
Shout outs to the Tory Norton go watch Lovers and
Friends on Lfetime. We spoke to her earlier today and
last but not least if you like creepy things, HBO
Max has Welcome to Dary. That's the events that led.

Speaker 1 (38:55):
Up to it. Yes, the movie is the movie it
or it takes place.

Speaker 3 (39:00):
That's right.

Speaker 5 (39:01):
Taylor Page stars in that, but Jeremiah doesn't like her,
right Jeremiah for that's our digital produce.

Speaker 1 (39:08):
That I'm Lorial.

Speaker 5 (39:09):
Those are the shows you need to know. According to Low,
you could follow me at Star Lial l O ri
e l or mona hustle show.

Speaker 3 (39:17):
All right, stick around in our Hustle of the week
is on the way. We're talking about the things and
the events that have been taking place in Chicago.

Speaker 4 (39:23):
Don't move, I'm a hustle.

Speaker 1 (39:27):
It's the hustle of the week.

Speaker 3 (39:29):
It's the morning hustle. Lorial and Kyle Santillian Olton Walker's
here and listen, and there's been a lot of conversation
about some of the things that have happened. Actually, just
one huge event that took place in Chicago went viral.
We all saw the mother with her children walking home
from school and a group of children attacking, beating, and

(39:50):
just it was just ridiculous. We all saw what happened
in the video, but we wanted to reach out to
Chicago and see if we can find out if there's
any answer, solutions and what the conversation is now. So
on the phone representing the teachers Union, the Chicago Teachers Union,
we have Miss Stacy Davis Gates.

Speaker 7 (40:06):
On the line. Oh listen to that. Thank you for
having me.

Speaker 4 (40:11):
We appreciate you being here.

Speaker 3 (40:13):
Man first and foremost, I hate, I personally hate because
Chicago's still my home. When we get such a bad
light on a city from attacks like this, like what
kind of things are y'all dealing with in the aftermath?

Speaker 2 (40:25):
What you saw landing in that video was a system
of dysfunction.

Speaker 7 (40:30):
Coming to bear.

Speaker 2 (40:32):
And what's happening now is that people are wrapping their
arms around the family as they should.

Speaker 7 (40:39):
The support that that mother and those young people should
have gotten already.

Speaker 2 (40:45):
It's deplorable the amount of times that their needs were ignored,
that reports when un answered about the level of abuse
and bullying that those young people were variencing. And after
talking to our members yesterday, what we found is that
that school is going to need a lot of support.

(41:10):
So that's where we are stepping in right now and
offering a host of the demands. We need after school
programming there after the Boys and Girls club pull it out.

Speaker 7 (41:19):
Kids don't have that.

Speaker 2 (41:21):
There are no crossing guards, safe passage workers.

Speaker 7 (41:25):
For after school.

Speaker 2 (41:26):
So dealing with some of the things that can provide
some immediate relief.

Speaker 7 (41:32):
And accountability, but also the fact that you have a
group of kids.

Speaker 2 (41:36):
One that's been victimized, we're going to have to figure
out how to give him some traumatic services, right and
the young people who perpetrated that violence, you got to
catch them right.

Speaker 7 (41:47):
Now because if you don't, there's a system waiting for them.

Speaker 5 (41:51):
We know that Donald Trump mentioned shutting down the Board
of Education at some point in time, How would that
affect us.

Speaker 2 (41:58):
It's already affecting us in your so he is with
hold right now, Donald Trump about ten million dollars from
the Chicago Public Schools because we fought Form one, a
Black Student Success Program, which is repertory support and resources
for black students in the system.

Speaker 7 (42:17):
You know, that's a DEI program. So with holding that money, well.

Speaker 5 (42:21):
Some people are saying and bringing up the whole CPS
travel scandal. They're saying that because the CPS Inspector General said,
what twenty three million in travel spending was abused over
six years? That you know, that's part of the problem.
Is the reason why they're cutting funding. What do you

(42:41):
have to say about that?

Speaker 2 (42:43):
Well, I don't think the two are connected, and I
will say it's averan behavior. Look, you don't get a
situation at that elementary school that's severe with a system.

Speaker 7 (42:54):
That works well.

Speaker 2 (42:56):
So the system is crying for intervention. But I'll be
perfectly honest with you, that's indefensible. I have sports coaches
who are part of our union that are having a
difficult time get buses for after school competitions.

Speaker 7 (43:12):
You have people going to Hawaii with their spouses. You
can't defend that either. That is also dysfunctional behavior.

Speaker 3 (43:20):
Right again, run a lot right now with Miss Stacy
Davis Gates, the president of the Chicago Teachers Union. You
were just addressing some of the investigations with the spending
that was going on with some of the people in
the Chicago Teachers Union. Ideally, like, how do we get
back to a place where people have trust in the
school system and trusting the job that you guys are
trying to do when we're still battling all these obstacles.

Speaker 7 (43:40):
That's a great question. I think that it's multifaceted.

Speaker 2 (43:44):
The Chicago Public Schools has never received the type of
funding that it deserves or is required. The State of
Illinois owes the Chicago Public Schools two billion dollars. There
is a two billion dollar bills. Yes that they are
in arrears. Two billion dollars also goes a long way
and helping to create resource school communities that have social workers, libraries,

(44:06):
and after school programs, none of which that school has,
by the way.

Speaker 7 (44:11):
Okay, so that's step one, you got to fund it.

Speaker 2 (44:14):
Step two is that we have to create spaces to
bring in more black teachers into our school community. They
don't even have five black teachers in that school community.

Speaker 7 (44:25):
That's a problem.

Speaker 2 (44:26):
We have to figure out how to cultivate a leadership
pipeline that brings black teachers into spaces like that to
help with the cultural competencies and the connections in the relationship.

Speaker 4 (44:41):
For sure, we appreciate you.

Speaker 3 (44:44):
Obviously we'll be watching the whole world as watching the
aftermath of the situation, and we're always hoping and wishing
that things come to the proper solution.

Speaker 4 (44:51):
But thank you for the time.

Speaker 2 (44:52):
Man.

Speaker 3 (44:52):
