On this episode of The Morning Hustle, the crew dove into the latest controversy around Young Thug, whose jail call comments about rapper GloRilla being “not his type” sparked backlash after going public. Thug later apologized on social media, admitting he was wrong and that the comments came from a tough moment behind bars. The hosts debated whether leaking personal jail calls crosses a line or is fair game when someone is facing serious charges.

Switching gears, the team unpacked Hooters’ surprising rebrand, with the restaurant chain trying to shift toward a “family-friendly” vibe by toning down uniforms and promoting healthier food options. While some thought it was smart business, others joked that the Hooters name itself might be too much baggage to ever shed. Finally, comedian and actor Lil Rel Howery joined the show, opening up about his comedy career, Chicago roots, and upcoming projects, including a comedy festival and new film roles. His candid conversation highlighted his belief in keeping energy for the stage and creating more opportunities for Black and brown comedians in the industry.

I'm a hustler. I'm a hustle.

Speaker 2 (00:04):
It's some morning hustle.

Speaker 3 (00:05):
Loreel and Kyle Sentillion. Yeah, here's some quick inspiration. It
starts your day.

Speaker 4 (00:12):
I check you.

Speaker 2 (00:14):
Kyles Message of.

Speaker 5 (00:15):
The day, Kyle's message today today is this is your time.
This right now, this moment, right here, This is your time.

Speaker 6 (00:24):
Man.

Speaker 5 (00:24):
Some people feel like their time has passed. Some people
feel like the time is coming in the future. But nah, man,
this is your time. You can't worry about what happened
in the past because you can't go back to that moment.
Now that moment is gone, that moment is over. All
you have to work with is what you have right now.
On the other side, there's people that are like, yo,
you know, when I get ready, I'm gonna do this.

(00:44):
When I get to this, I'm gonna do that. You
can't worry about that. Sometimes you just gotta start building
from right now where you are. You can't worry about
the time that's passed and the time that's coming your way.
You got to take advantage of the moment that you
have right here in front of you. So whatever it
is you're trying to do, whatever it is you're trying
to make whatever it is you're trying to create, whatever
that might be, Yo, this is the time to do it.

(01:06):
We don't even know what's going to happen tomorrow, right,
we could be you know, United States versus Russia, China
and Hong Kong and something, you know what I mean,
and then who knows. Man, it's a crazy time we
live in. So if you have something that you want
to do, yo, don't wait, man, don't wait, wait wait,
because tomorrow is not promised. Get it cracking right now,
all right. Kyle's message to day today is this is

(01:28):
your time.

Speaker 7 (01:28):
And mine is simple. I love the hustlers with all
my butt. I would say heart, but my butt is bigger.

Speaker 3 (01:36):
Oh my lordill has the loan own here you go, take.

Speaker 2 (01:46):
All the morning to hustle.

Speaker 4 (01:47):
Listen, man, they say cash ain't dead yet.

Speaker 5 (01:50):
If you got cash in your hand, you can get
to where you need to go with this story.

Speaker 7 (01:53):
And we'll talk about that in just a second. First
let's talk about she and we all stop shopping there after.

Speaker 1 (01:58):
The terroris rade.

Speaker 7 (01:59):
Yeah, this is given regular prices. It's supposed to be
discounted or cheap and something I don't know what's happening
now we know. They did open up a pop up
shop in Atlanta and it was crazy. People were waiting
online for hours. Alton was there.

Speaker 2 (02:13):
I was there.

Speaker 8 (02:14):
I was trying to give me a shine outfit.

Speaker 4 (02:16):
That's crazy.

Speaker 7 (02:19):
Yeah, they have stuff for everybody, right, No, yeah, they
have stuff for everybody, babies, all kinds of stuff.

Speaker 1 (02:29):
Right. Well, it looks like even murderers.

Speaker 7 (02:31):
Okay, apparently Luigi Matt Gooney. How you say his last
name mcgoney, right, yeah, that's the guy that killed the
CEO Healthcare.

Speaker 1 (02:41):
The United Healthcare ceo.

Speaker 7 (02:43):
Well, apparently they had him as the faith of Shean.
He was modeling a shirt, button down a couple of
other items and it took for TMZ to be like,
wait a second, what's going on here?

Speaker 1 (02:56):
So it looks like AI went a little.

Speaker 7 (02:58):
A wall and it didn't work for them too well,
So people started complaining.

Speaker 1 (03:03):
And they're like, is it this man in jail for murder?

Speaker 3 (03:06):
I don't so.

Speaker 1 (03:08):
Yeah, it was an image that they actually used.

Speaker 7 (03:10):
It has now been taken down, but listen, they could
use anything.

Speaker 1 (03:15):
I know, just on Sheen.

Speaker 7 (03:16):
The other day, there was a friend of mine told
me that their friend actually got one of their items
stole and they posted it right on the site selling
their T shirts like it was theirs. So they reached
out to Sheen and was like, Hello, I'm gonna sue
y'all and they were like, oh, just.

Speaker 9 (03:32):
Kidding, Like, well, that's crazy.

Speaker 1 (03:37):
It's an overseas company.

Speaker 7 (03:39):
It's like a lot of the rules that work for
here don't really work for there.

Speaker 1 (03:43):
So it's like you got to press them in order
to get your.

Speaker 2 (03:45):
Respect check on that product.

Speaker 1 (03:49):
I'm trying to tell you.

Speaker 7 (03:50):
They still they've stole many people's products, and then they
sell it for a fraction of the price that the
other person selling it for, So it's kind of like it's.

Speaker 1 (03:57):
Not really right.

Speaker 7 (03:58):
But either way, the murderer is not the face of Shean. Okay,
but that was a good marketing plant. Attention absolutely. Now
let's talk about Hooters. They're switching up their marketing plans.
The restaurant now but vote now.

Speaker 1 (04:15):
Wants to be a family friendly.

Speaker 8 (04:19):
I don't think you're gonna see a bunch of butt
cheeks hanging out and things like that.

Speaker 2 (04:22):
To be really frank with.

Speaker 7 (04:23):
You, well, shouldn't we change the name because it Hooters?
You know that doesn't start well for family friendly. So
they're gonna end their bikini night. Now, they're gonna tone
down the uniform. They're gonna focus on better, healthier food
and faster service.

Speaker 4 (04:40):
Yeah, they might as well just be something else, right,
just brand or something.

Speaker 1 (04:45):
Well they did.

Speaker 7 (04:45):
There's actually like mast food versions called who where you
could just run in there and get the same orders
that you could get at Hooters. But I think maybe
if they're gonna change when, they should change all of them,
or maybe that's their way of like baby stepping. If
you're going to make it family friendly, it should be hooped.

Speaker 6 (05:02):
Yeah.

Speaker 7 (05:03):
Let's move on and talk about Uber. Looks like they're
switching some things up as well. Now they are allowing
certain in certain areas US writers to pay for trips
with cash.

Speaker 1 (05:14):
Now, y'all say Uber with cash? I call this a cab.

Speaker 7 (05:19):
Same thing, Okay, Well, apparently they launched it in March,
so they had Cincinnati, San Antonio. Now they're expanding it
to Dallas, Orlando, Fort Myers in LA. So this is
already something you could do in certain parts of Asia
and Africa. But they're saying that it helped millions of
unbanked Americans get these vibes. So you got to think

(05:39):
about like the senior citizens that don't really know how
to work the apps too well, or maybe it's not
linked to their account, they don't have anything linked to
their phone, like you know, some people really don't have
anything like that link to their phone.

Speaker 1 (05:51):
Which I'll be here for the Uber paying the cash.

Speaker 5 (05:54):
I don't mind that part. That part is fine with me,
I think, and not just Uber. I think somebody these
rashair drivers, I gotta get a grip on yourselves, the drivers,
you know what I'm saying. I just feel like everybody
to like, if you're providing a professional service, I shouldn't
feel like I'm in the back of this car and
you're just doing whatever you want to do while I'm
in the back.

Speaker 7 (06:10):
Yeah, like taxing, talking on your phone, conversations on speaking
right five.

Speaker 6 (06:15):
Starts right the track.

Speaker 8 (06:18):
I mean, you still have to order from Uber, just
be like, well, I'm a pay when they get here
or something like that.

Speaker 1 (06:22):
I guess I'm trying to figure that out.

Speaker 2 (06:23):
That's not safe because.

Speaker 7 (06:24):
It's not safe for the driver. But also like how
you know Uber about their money child and how they
gonna get they cut I don't know what's going Uber?

Speaker 1 (06:32):
You falling off? Just kidding now, I'm with you.

Speaker 5 (06:38):
Yeah, like that's our own That morning that I called
to Waymo to work, that was on my Uber at.

Speaker 1 (06:42):
Oh, I thought you said they own it.

Speaker 4 (06:44):
I thought you said they're on they're on Uber, They're ye.
I saw that you look.

Speaker 7 (06:49):
I rock with Uber, they rock with Doult saying give
me my points, slow down, you could follow me? Outs time, y'all,
l O R e ol or my show.

Speaker 4 (06:57):

Speaker 2 (07:00):

Speaker 8 (07:04):
Social media and your man's and they're thinking's plain too.

Speaker 3 (07:07):

Speaker 5 (07:09):

for Alton Walker to let us know why God Hey please?

Speaker 4 (17:12):
Hustle.

Speaker 7 (17:13):
Well, well, well, talking about putting differences aside, this is
something that we don't see too often when it comes
to I feel like the rap game at all.

Speaker 1 (17:23):
It's like almost like once you beef, you beef forever.

Speaker 6 (17:26):
Right.

Speaker 1 (17:26):
Your teams is going back and forth all kinds of stuff.

Speaker 7 (17:29):
But it looks like Lotto and Ice Spice have finally
squashed the beef and they decided to collaborate on a
brand new record, and it dropped today.

Speaker 1 (17:39):
Check it out. I got it, she got that, Yeat,
I got it.

Speaker 7 (17:46):
That.

Speaker 3 (17:47):
Yeah, you mean that.

Speaker 1 (17:53):
They like Yeat hoping on with that?

Speaker 3 (17:56):
Yeah? Yeah, I'm a bad always count be so damn thirsty?
Are you trying to jump up first? Spouting here the
brust of the yacht?

Speaker 7 (18:03):
Like, I mean, keep bouncings mixed on top.

Speaker 3 (18:07):
So what I here is playing?

Speaker 7 (18:09):
But this is Alton's new favorite song. Some people would
say we're being a little shady now, you know. I
like Ice Spikes. I feel like she's like my niece
or something. But it's they said that a Lotto should
have wrote for Ice Bike.

Speaker 8 (18:23):
Well, I mean, Ice Spice is not a great rapper
to me anyway, so I don't I never got it,
but I like her.

Speaker 7 (18:29):
So you feel like Ice Spice and Stell. You feel
like Lotto might have did this to be funny still
because she.

Speaker 1 (18:35):
Knew she was gonna eat up the track.

Speaker 8 (18:37):
Probably, but she can't Ice Pies can't get she's not
touching a lot of we all know that, but I
don't know why she did a collab.

Speaker 7 (18:45):
I like the fact that the two of them are
no longer beefing and we can all get along and
move on in this situation. I wonder if Nicki Minaj
is willing to put the beef down with these two
ladies as well. I doubt it, but uh, there's been
a lot of talk because we know young thugs.

Speaker 1 (19:02):
All these videos are.

Speaker 7 (19:03):
Coming out, all these voice recordings are coming out of
his jail calls, the personal conversations that he's had with
so many people, friends, girlfriend, Felmily. They're just putting anything
out at this point, and I think, like when it
comes to criminal acts, if this is something they wanted
to release, that'd be one thing.

Speaker 1 (19:23):
But his opinion on glow Rilla.

Speaker 6 (19:30):
Bush we skinnish, big mouth and white up nothing. I
would not pursue her.

Speaker 3 (19:39):
Damn.

Speaker 2 (19:40):
Why he had to tell her like that.

Speaker 1 (19:42):
I know, I'm not gonna lie.

Speaker 7 (19:45):
Mariah kind of ask some fueling if I they said
she looked like Rihanna.

Speaker 2 (19:48):
Who's who's Brianna? Though he said more like Brihanna.

Speaker 1 (19:52):
I guess just anybody like I got just name Brianna.

Speaker 7 (19:56):
Oh sorry, I ain't the lab with this crazy okay,
I Brianna, I'll be a little offended, like damn. But
young Doug is apologizing behind this whole situation. This is
actually the first call he's admitting he was wrong, because
there's been other calls that have leaked and he hasn't
said anything.

Speaker 1 (20:15):
He took the social media.

Speaker 7 (20:17):
He said, first of all, I'm sorry for my words
and honestly don't think you're ugly at all. I was
speaking from jail, just having a hard time of life.
I don't like bashing girls, and hardly ever did. I'm
sorry to you twin Mariah Scientist is kind of being
dragged into this. We know that there's gonna be more
calls at lead. Somebody is really out to get this man, definitely.

Speaker 8 (20:34):
Out to get him, and they about to mess up
all his collabse I don't think you're gonna have anyone
to collab on another album.

Speaker 7 (20:41):
Well, according to glow Rillas, she said, mind you just
the same end word blowing up my phone and ask
what color of.

Speaker 1 (20:47):
My eyes is?

Speaker 7 (20:48):
How she still talk, how she typed out, She talked,
last but not least, let's talk about Cardi B. She
is really gearing up for this album to drop. Am
I to Drama. I don't know if you've seen it
or not, but this is all the drama was in
the courtroom because she knew she was gonna use that
for press. She actually now is selling the cover of

(21:08):
her album with her being in the courtroom making those.

Speaker 1 (21:11):
Faces towards the judge and all kinds of stuff. So
she is selling that.

Speaker 7 (21:16):
But it looks like she actually was offered a big show,
not just any big show, the big show, the super Bowl.

Speaker 1 (21:23):
Halftime show, and according to her, she turned it down.

Speaker 8 (21:27):
I feel I got what year I got asked to
do the super Bowl and I deny, but I'm glad.

Speaker 3 (21:35):
I feel like soon if.

Speaker 6 (21:38):
I get to do it, I feel like I'm gonna
have more hits and I feel like.

Speaker 3 (21:41):
I'm gonna be more experienced. I know I'm gonna eat
that up.

Speaker 1 (21:44):
Yeah, I mean, at least have two albums underneath your belt.
She only had the one, you know. Like I said,
am I.

Speaker 7 (21:50):
The Drama comes out next week to September nineteenth, so
we're looking forward to see what she's gonna bring with that.

Speaker 1 (21:57):
But super Bowl halftime I could see her doing that.
She has big records.

Speaker 3 (22:01):
No, not a whole time.

Speaker 8 (22:03):
I mean with somebody else, but not a whole time.
Cardi we don't have enough hits for a whole halftime.

Speaker 1 (22:09):
You are on drugs.

Speaker 7 (22:10):
She could do all those I like it, like that
she got all those features that low key could just be.

Speaker 1 (22:17):
She has big records.

Speaker 2 (22:20):
On the national player.

Speaker 1 (22:21):
Absolutely this girl. Each of her every single song she
put out has been platinum and better.

Speaker 2 (22:27):
I love Cardi B. But she did the right thing
to holding out.

Speaker 4 (22:30):
She don't have enough.

Speaker 7 (22:30):
I mean, she did the right thing by holding out,
But she absolutely has big enough records to do the
super Bowl right now. There was rumors out there saying
that jay Z is gonna actually headline the Super Bowl show.
I think it's gonna be Taylor Swift. I've been saying
this for quite some time, especially after the engagement and
all that stuff. I think this year they're gonna go Tailor.
Beyonce was hanging out with her not too long ago.

(22:52):
Remember Beyonce, don't just hang out with anybody.

Speaker 1 (22:54):
Please.

Speaker 2 (22:55):
I agree with you.

Speaker 8 (22:56):
I think they're gonna go white this year. There's too
much black five years of black people.

Speaker 4 (23:00):
They done well.

Speaker 7 (23:01):
Tylor Swift don't really think she's like fully white. She
just thinks she's Taylor Swift.

Speaker 1 (23:05):
I'm Loriol. That's the lowdown.

Speaker 7 (23:06):
You can follow me astarn lurial l o r E
l or more hustle show. She she is like the
whitest person out because look how she even turned Travis
Kelce back white. And coming up, we got our guy,
little Brown that we're gonna be talking to and he
has a mouthful pause.

Speaker 1 (23:23):
Okay, get up? What up?

Speaker 5 (23:26):
Y'alls to morning hustling with Loril and Kyle saying Tillian
and we love it when we have guests.

Speaker 4 (23:32):
Man, his brother that slid through today has been killing
the game for years. Now. We're talking about stand up comedy,
we're talking.

Speaker 5 (23:38):
About TV, we're talking about movies, and we're gonna start
talking about director and producing.

Speaker 4 (23:44):
Yeah, straight out of Chicago, Little Rel Howard, what's up, bro?

Speaker 6 (23:49):
What's up? Thanks for having me?

Speaker 4 (23:51):
Yeah, man, we're glad to have you here today.

Speaker 7 (23:53):
If he's the quietest comedian, it's usually comedians be loud.

Speaker 6 (23:58):
Most people do too much. I'm not that guy.

Speaker 3 (24:00):
Yeah.

Speaker 6 (24:01):
I save literally everything for the stage. So you know
it's funny because I've had promoters nervous before it shows, like, man,
you're just chilling. I go up there and just rock out.
It's like, oh, like yeah, I don't. It's weird because
when I started, I was like that right, because I
think you want to be like I'm I want everybody
know I do comedy. You know something had that energy.
But then at some point you're like, I don't want

(24:22):
to participate in that. I save it for the stage
and strength.

Speaker 1 (24:26):
It's looking like fool a really just it's just too.

Speaker 6 (24:28):
Much sometimes, like and I love my comedian brothers, but
sometimes they can be draining. But it was weird, like
as I do a comedy festival in Chicago whatever, because
we're gearing up for year two. Yeah, September fourteenth through
the twenty first. But I like it felt good last
year to be around it because I didn't miss it.
But it's like, dang, y'all got so much random in it.

Speaker 4 (24:47):
It's so visiting with movies and TV. You haven't been
around the comics and the stand up says.

Speaker 6 (24:51):
Well, I still tour, but like not in the like
cause I don't go to the LA spots like that
all the time. You know what I'm saying. But I
just missed Chicago. Chicago's just a different energy and it
felt so good to be home. And I've actually been
really living off that energy from last year's festival, just
being around just real funny people.

Speaker 1 (25:09):
You know what I'm saying that you did get out
and went Hollywood, Holly.

Speaker 5 (25:14):
Wait before that, since you brought it up a couple
of times already, Let's just start there. Man, what's funny
Comedy festival? Yeah, you and a brother Knowledge put the
festival together. Knowledge was your manager at one time. What
made you guys come together and create this festival?

Speaker 2 (25:29):
You know something?

Speaker 6 (25:29):
It was more or less like, if I could be
really honest, and I'm just keeping the one hundred I
didn't doing these. I've done all the other festivals before,
and sometimes they give like the black and brown comedians,
like kind of like the scraps, like the Urban Show.
And I wanted just us to be the focus because
I think some of the funniest comedians that's ever been
doing stand up comedy has come from black and brown people.

(25:51):
So that is what we're That's not necessarily our focus.
We do embrace everybody, but I wanted to make sure
that we were in the down in the pecking order.
That's all right, right and so, and then doing it
in Chicago has been amazing because Chicago's a great place
to stand up. Last year was one of like I've
done a lot of stuff in my career, but that's
one of the things I was so much proud of.

(26:13):
It was all the shows we sold out last year.
The energy was good. And this year is gonna be
even bigger. We're doing screening. We're screening like three of
my movies. You know, we get to brag about the
special being shot last year and being sold somewhere. So like,
it's just gonna beautiful this year. We got great panels.
You know, d Ray Davis is coming through. Sure Underwood's
coming through. We got comedians from all over the country. Again,

(26:36):
you got me being there. It's just gonna be a
lot of fun. Chicago's starting to really elevate into this
beautiful black Hollywood space. At some point, hopefully we can
figure out how to work together, because that's what we
need to do. We all don't need to be competing.
It should be a way for all of us to
figure this out.

Speaker 5 (26:53):
Yeah, little Row hanging out with us in the studio today,
Hustler's man. Funny, funny dude, don't go nowhere, We're coming
right back. More of a little right here on the
Morning Hustle.

Speaker 2 (27:01):
Turn up in the morning the Hustle.

Speaker 4 (27:06):
Hustle and yo to Morning Hustle Show.

Speaker 5 (27:09):
Lor Reale, Kyle said, Tillian out to Walker's running around,
but little rows in the studio.

Speaker 1 (27:14):
How about Yeah, part of the car Michael.

Speaker 4 (27:18):
Sh which was an amazing show.

Speaker 7 (27:19):
Amazing, But I do want to know what you think
about the whole episode with him coming and shooting his
shot at Tyler the Creator on his reality version.

Speaker 6 (27:30):
I mean, look, they've been friends a long time. I
think Tyler was just surprised. Yeah, which is interesting because
it's gay men are fascinating, right, these are my friends.
But they are fascinating because it's like when they're friends,
they're friends. They don't necessarily dip in the friendship, which
was crazy.

Speaker 2 (27:50):
I was like, why you don't like you to do?

Speaker 1 (27:54):
Do you think Tyler the Creator is a gay man?

Speaker 3 (27:57):
Yeah?

Speaker 1 (27:59):
You he said it.

Speaker 6 (28:01):
You ain't never heard his songs, You've heard I look
like everybody.

Speaker 1 (28:06):
But the way that I feel like.

Speaker 7 (28:10):
The way that their interaction was was he not appalled,
but kind of like he brushed him up so hard.

Speaker 6 (28:16):
That it was like, I'm not here because he not
is tight. Most real them dudes got they got they tight.
Nod Trump dude, That's why I surprised shot and shot
it tight.

Speaker 3 (28:32):
They got like a white tight. I feel like he
like what he like.

Speaker 6 (28:36):
He likes playing it. He liked what he liked. Gironda,
take the geradas in these streets.

Speaker 5 (28:40):
And y'all, let's take a break, man, when we come
back more with low brow hanging out in the studio.
He's got so much going on and we're talking all
about it today right here on the Morning Hustle Show.

Speaker 2 (28:52):
We are the Morning Hustle.

Speaker 5 (28:55):
Lorill and Kyle say it, Tillian out to walk and
running around. We are the Morning so little rows in
the studio with us today. Man, let's talk about you
and and family, bro. I know, family for you is
very important, you know what I mean. We've done interviews
in the past where you've had your kids in the studio,
but there's and things of that nature. And congratulations on
your uh your engagement man number one. And I've read

(29:18):
a court where you said your blended family is the
most fascinating part of your life.

Speaker 4 (29:23):
Well, what's fascinating about it?

Speaker 6 (29:24):
Well, just it's actually fun getting to know them on
my own right. And it's interesting because it was a
time where, like I felt like we tend to like
when you're blended families and you know, these are your
kids and it's her kids. We try you try to like,
let me show you who my kids is my version
of how I see them. Okay, when you really got
to build your own relationship.

Speaker 7 (29:44):
And Beyonce helped you propose, which is crazier kind of mean,
I guess I feel.

Speaker 6 (29:50):
Because I'm like, do I keep talking about it?

Speaker 5 (29:52):
Lose?

Speaker 6 (29:52):
Am I losing my friendship by talking about this so much?
Because you know who the Carters? You kind of got
less stuff you got? You gotta be easy, Like, look,
we talked, bought it it up. I ain't gonna they
keep bringing it up. It was more or less Miss Tina.
But it still makes me laugh to this day that
I can see how irritated be I say it was
because I was supposed to propose, Like that song went

(30:13):
way too long.

Speaker 4 (30:14):
She was waiting.

Speaker 6 (30:15):
She literally like I was, so I was waiting on
that song the whole coss. I was looking at the teleprompter.
I was like, all right, but literally I'm waiting up
this song I had to go to as soon as
I started. You know, I'm in my forties, so I
can't necessary stop my p like that and the song.
I was like, you don't have got all the Porter bodies. Yeah,

(30:36):
you're trying to He was a brother, not py Man.
You okay that brother?

Speaker 3 (30:41):
I literally am.

Speaker 7 (30:44):
No.

Speaker 4 (30:48):
I was like, you gotta be chicking.

Speaker 6 (30:49):
I left so hard that Porter Boddyes, this only happened
only me, but how did.

Speaker 7 (30:54):
You even get so tight? And with the car there's
just period because it's not easy to get.

Speaker 1 (30:58):
In that circle.

Speaker 6 (30:59):
You know what a real story is. So it was
to see Black Panther. So Ryan Coogler had like, so,
I thought this was a regular screening, right, I thought,
like other people was gonna be at the screening. This
is a true story. Shout to Shaka who works with
j Rock Nation with his close friends. She invited me to.
I thought was a like a yes, yes. So I

(31:22):
get there and it's the Imax office, like they got
a theater in the office. I'm like, oh wait a minute,
it was an exclusive exclusive, right, And so I'm sitting
there waiting right, and then I've only seen like Cali
walks here. And then when Jay and Beyonce he Miss
Tina walked, they felt like a wind was blown.

Speaker 3 (31:39):
I'm not.

Speaker 6 (31:41):
And they walked there and I'm like, oh, this is
up prior, this is before it came out right. And
so I sit next to Miss Tina in the movie
theater and she was talking doing a movie and laughing
and stuff and different things, and I don't know, we
were just talking and then she had left her phone
and I had to grab the phone. I'm like, Jay,

(32:01):
mis Tina left her phone and he was like, yeah,
she always doing that, buddy. And it was weird because
I didn't think anything of that. And then the next
week I get a call from Robbie Reed, who's a
catching director and she works with Miss Tina for her
gala she does, and she's like, Miss Tina wants you
to host her gala.

Speaker 4 (32:22):
It feels like Miss Tina is the bridge.

Speaker 6 (32:24):
I'll never get me. And Jay was hanging out the
Rock Nation brunch and at that time I approached him.
I was like, hey, man, well, can rock Nation produce
my comedy album? He's like yeah. I was like, no,
you hear what I said. I say, I want you
guys to do my album. He's like, well, I miss
Tina loves you, Mama, mama, test Mama, Tina loves you.
I have to do.

Speaker 3 (32:45):
Whatever.

Speaker 6 (32:47):
And then I took that favor back like you know
what something, which is why I end up getting a
favor for the proposal because I never did the album.
I'm like, wait a minute, I got a favor hold
on and it ended up being a favorite proposal, which
is crazy.

Speaker 3 (33:04):
Bro.

Speaker 5 (33:04):
Man, we appreciate you coming through. Bro, you got so
much going on, but just to recap the things that
are coming up soon, you got so We.

Speaker 6 (33:11):
Got Cold three coming out September, twelfth movie I did
with Rain Wilson. Okay, it is so good. I can't
wait for y'all to see that. We're gonna screen at
Chicago at the Festival. You got Unexpected Christmas November seventh,
right in theaters. It's gonna be great. We can't wait
for y'all to see that we have hunted heights that
are directed and started y premiere in September twentieth at

(33:31):
the Fantastic Fest in Austin. We excited about that. That's
a big deal. And it's gonna come out in theaters
in October. We'll get the exact day soon and then
my special. That's right, I sewed it to to B.
I'm like, man, it'd be nice to have an original
special there because they got all the eyes like people
would love to talk about to but to we got
the streets. You know, when you got the streets in comedy,
that's how you level up. That's that's how we had

(33:53):
a cat with blutleg Man made a lot of people.

Speaker 1 (33:58):
I feel like you're the only person he didn't and
his interview that's not true.

Speaker 2 (34:04):
He didn't.

Speaker 6 (34:04):
He didn't diss me there, but then you know, but
he recently he did. Carmeloshka did call me. He said,
I'm the cb A and he the NBA.

Speaker 1 (34:15):
How does that make you feel?

Speaker 6 (34:17):
It's just funny to be what this think about it?
Even even saying to CB A while. Literally he's on
the podcast that I just did before him. It's insane.

Speaker 5 (34:31):
We appreciate you, brother, man, and congratulations on everything man watching,
thank you watching your journey from relevant and special till now.

Speaker 4 (34:40):
It's been crazy, bro, So congratulations on everything.

Speaker 6 (34:43):
I appreciate you. Thank you so much more. Hustle show.

Speaker 4 (34:46):
Y'all know what it is, watching it.

Speaker 3 (34:52):
So you don't have to here are loans shows?

Speaker 7 (34:56):
Well, well, well, a lot of people have been waiting
for the weekends they could get some time to kick
their feed up, relax and watch some good TV. Okay,
and there is a lot of things on television brand
new that you can tune into. One of the things
that a lot of people have been into and talking about.
I watched some of the first season because it came

(35:16):
out like during the pandemic. But now it is back
season two of Wednesday. The last part has dropped and
Lady Gaga has joined the cast, so a lot of
people are super excited about seeing her there. I'm just
still happy that my guy Luis Gooseman is what is he?
Uncle Fester.

Speaker 2 (35:37):
Shout out to. Somebody told me to watch it.

Speaker 3 (35:40):
I need it.

Speaker 8 (35:40):
I guess I need to watch it.

Speaker 7 (35:41):
It's number one on Netflix. It's dark, but it's, like
you know, it's something that a lot of people are into.
They've been waiting like about what four years for part two,
so make sure y'all.

Speaker 1 (35:53):
Check that out.

Speaker 3 (35:54):
Now.

Speaker 7 (35:54):
Speaking of Netflix, there's something on there that is absolutely crazy.
I believe it's number one in movies right now, and
it's called Unknown Number the High School Catfitch. Let me
tell y'all, Allison, I know you got a chance to
check it out as well.

Speaker 3 (36:09):
Yes, I did.

Speaker 7 (36:10):
By far the craziest story I think Netflix has ever
brought to us.

Speaker 4 (36:16):
What do you say?

Speaker 2 (36:19):
That's one of the craziest stories. How mean did you
talk about it?

Speaker 4 (36:23):
If I get okay, it's crazy.

Speaker 1 (36:26):
We don't want to give anything away. We want you
to watch that.

Speaker 2 (36:29):
I will Lauriel tell him. I'll tell him.

Speaker 7 (36:33):
I can't tell everybody did not watch this yet, okay,
but I will say. It's about a girl who was
in high school and she was in this relationship and
she started getting messages from an unknown number right and
this person was literally terrorizing her to the point where
she then broke up with a boyfriend he started getting

(36:53):
a text.

Speaker 1 (36:54):
It's sick.

Speaker 7 (36:55):
But you'll never believe who the damn person was that.
Let me tell you something, This is some real white
people's stuff. Because I can't see that being no black family.

Speaker 1 (37:05):
What about you?

Speaker 8 (37:07):
No, it could not have been a black family. And
it feels like this was so scripted out, like there
was a this was a it's a perfect movie.

Speaker 1 (37:15):
To be honest, it was not scripted at all.

Speaker 2 (37:17):
It felt like I'm just.

Speaker 8 (37:18):
Saying it's not scripted, but it would be like this
would be a great script It will be so disappointed.

Speaker 7 (37:26):
And yeah, when I tell y'all, it's good because I
know I have stopped watching things like this. I'm like
they all end up the same.

Speaker 1 (37:32):
Not this one. This one has definitely one to check out.

Speaker 7 (37:35):
Okay, So, like I said, that's on Netflix. Now we're
gonna take it over to Apple TV. We talked about
this movie Denzel asat Rocky. We talked about Lotto earlier.
She has like three seconds in the film Hyat so
Lois is available right now on Apple TV. Right now,
I am watching the show on Amazon Prime and it's

(37:55):
called The Summer I Turn Pretty Now. This show right
here is crazy. It's out a girl and her family
who they kind of coexist with another family for summertime.
And basically it's two brothers and they both kind of
fall in love with her, but then she's like dating
another It's a lot.

Speaker 3 (38:13):
It's a lot.

Speaker 1 (38:13):
It's more like of a teen storyline.

Speaker 7 (38:17):
But it's good because the plot and the twist and
the turns. It's three seasons in an easy quick watch,
and it's very entertaining. That's something that I would definitely recommend.
And then also somebody else told me to check this out.
It's on Hulu called The Twisted Tale of Amanda Knox. Now,
this is like a girl who goes to study abroad

(38:37):
and one of her roommates gets killed, and let's just say,
she sets her whole self up to look like she
it was her that did it, and she don't even
realize it because she don't speak the language. So this
it's nah, I'm not even gonna lie to you the
way that this could happen to you just by traveling,
not just living abroad, but like traveling and trusting the

(38:58):
wrong people. This is a good ass show. I'm not
done with it, but I like it so far. So
those are the shows you need to know.

Speaker 1 (39:06):
According to Lowe, what j ri.

Speaker 2 (39:09):
Yo got a question?

Speaker 1 (39:10):
What's that?

Speaker 8 (39:11):
Are all these apps under your account? Or are you
under somebody else account?

Speaker 3 (39:16):
All up?

Speaker 7 (39:16):
First of all, now I'm not telling you that because
I'm not sharing my password with you.

Speaker 1 (39:21):
So the answer is no.

Speaker 7 (39:22):
I just looked at my credit card statement today and
was like, what the hell and this all. And I
have cable like so imagine, but I do really quickly
want to make sure I shot out. I feel like
he's like my little brother in my head, but I
really don't know him. I want to shout out Kasana.
I want to make sure that he makes it to

(39:42):
his goal of one million subscribers. The Mafia than III
is going down right now. He will be streaming twenty
four hours for thirty days. He's had people like Kim
Kardashian pull up, Mariah Carey. They say he has Lebron
pulling up at some point. Ray J has been on there.
He's super entertaining. I've been checking out some of the
things that he has been streaming, and it's been very

(40:05):
very very funny. So big shout out to kays and
not doing positive things that we want to make sure
we support him, Okay, And like I said, those are
the shows you need to know. According to low you
can follow me at Stan Laurie y'all, Hello, r E
l or Monna Hustle shout.

Speaker 1 (40:20):
I'm a hustler.

Speaker 6 (40:22):
I'm a hustle.

Speaker 2 (40:23):
It's the hustle of the week.

Speaker 5 (40:24):
I'm ready to kick it off. Man I'm so excited
the NFL season is back, and my hustle of the
week at the end of the day is gonna have
Cam Newton shut up. It's gonna have all these other
doubters out there talking about he's not in the top
ten list and all that.

Speaker 4 (40:39):
He's gonna make all them shut up because he's gonna
do it again.

Speaker 5 (40:42):
My hustle of the week is a quarterback for the
Philadelphia Eagles, Jalen Hurts.

Speaker 4 (40:46):
Baby, Jayleen Hurts, come for man.

Speaker 5 (40:50):
This is that season where it's like, you know, people
will talk about, you know how he's not the top
tier quarterback, and the team carried him. And we're seeing
times last season where he except up when he needed to,
He let the running game speak when he needed to.
But it's gonna be the season where all of those
things get quieted. Everybody got to just shut the hell
up and watch my man go crazy.

Speaker 7 (41:10):
Man.

Speaker 4 (41:10):
My hustle of the week Jaylor Hurts Baby, let's go
all right. I don't know if you can top.

Speaker 7 (41:18):
That one, chains because you know, them domonds be shining,
shining right now.

Speaker 9 (41:25):
Me.

Speaker 7 (41:26):
I'm gonna give it to somebody that's very, very special.
A lot of people counted against this person, but still
he rises. Okay, So I'm gonna give a big shout
out to Derek Groves who.

Speaker 1 (41:39):
Is still on the run from the Louisi President.

Speaker 3 (41:44):
Run.

Speaker 7 (41:45):
Now they got his girl friend locked up and his
grandmama because remember they tried to help him out and
they caught them. But it's been beyond three months now,
it's going on four months. This man they even found
somebody in Wall Green that they said was a woman
that they thought it was him, with a whole job
dressed as you get what I'm yeah, But I just

(42:07):
got to say, man, Derek, I knew you had it
in you. I bet on you from the beginning. We
could roll back to tape and see the name that
I said with Derek, just keep running, brother. I mean
everybody the New Orleans jail break was a success for
you on the beach in Mexico. So wherever he got
you won't know, because you get what I'm saying. Everybody

(42:27):
else got caught, all the mother nine man got caught.
But Derek, Derek is standing in the test of time.

Speaker 1 (42:33):

You can't be mad about that game. Derek been outside
literally out the country.

Speaker 2 (42:43):
