'An UnbeWEAVEable Moment' & 'Unpaid Repairs' & 'Can't Stay Afloat'

First, the plaintiff says she told her beautician not to use weave glue on her scalp several times during appointments, as she’s allergic to the substance. However, the defendant did just that anyway, causing the plaintiff to have a reaction and need to go out in public with a head wrap on. She’s suing the defendant for her pain and suffering. The defendant says she’s only ever used glue to apply weaves and is shocked she’s being sued because the plaintiff never told her about the allergy. Then, the plaintiff says he did home repairs for the defendant after Hurricane Sandy, but now she’s stiffing him on the cost of his materials and labor. It’s not that she can’t pay him, she just won’t. He’s suing to get his money back. The defendant says the plaintiff is a friend of her sister-in-law’s and is charging her for doing none of the work he says he did. Plus, the plaintiff says he’s been friends with the defendant for a long time and loaned him money during a hard time to keep him afloat. Unfortunately, it’s been over six months, and the plaintiff still has not been paid back, so he’s suing. The defendant says he did borrow money from the plaintiff, but also says the plaintiff owed him money first, so he doesn’t owe anything. He is countersuing for rent money the plaintiff owes him.
