Salem Radio Seattle will be at Missions Fest Seattle. This is a free event with keynote speakers and 60 seminars and exhibits. This is happening Friday and Saturday Oct 10th and 11th at the Highlands Community Church in Renton. For more information go to MissionsFestSeattle.org.
We thought, since we’re gonna be there, it would be a nice idea to talk to one of those 60 exhibitors that will be there with Salem Media Seattle. We chose Vision House. And to talk about Vision House, we invited their Executive Director, Derek Sciba.
Derek Sciba has 15 years of nonprofit leadership experience, having served with global relief organizations such as World Concern and World Vision. Before stepping into the nonprofit world, Derek worked as a television news reporter, where he told stories that sought justice for families facing trauma.

CrimeLess: Hillbilly Heist
It’s 1996 in rural North Carolina, and an oddball crew makes history when they pull off America’s third largest cash heist. But it’s all downhill from there. Join host Johnny Knoxville as he unspools a wild and woolly tale about a group of regular ‘ol folks who risked it all for a chance at a better life. CrimeLess: Hillbilly Heist answers the question: what would you do with 17.3 million dollars? The answer includes diamond rings, mansions, velvet Elvis paintings, plus a run for the border, murder-for-hire-plots, and FBI busts.
