Speaker 1 (00:03):
Hello, and welcome to the Tennis Momentum. Snapper, a rogue photographer,
flips the script on match point, But is he really
to blame? Probably Foster Forever Friends. A surprise guest shocks
the crowd as Maria Sharapova is inducted into the International Tennis.

Speaker 2 (00:19):
Hall of Fame.

Speaker 1 (00:20):
And in New York, States of Mind, Madison Keys and
a raft of Ossi OSSI's cause upsets early in the
US Open.

Speaker 3 (00:28):
Okay, we got through that.

Speaker 4 (00:29):
That's great. Wow, that's a big read.

Speaker 3 (00:32):
That's all I had with me.

Speaker 1 (00:34):
Bree Stewart alongside me is my co host and partner
in crime or should I say partner in clumsiness?

Speaker 4 (00:40):
Oh, it wasn't my fault.

Speaker 2 (00:42):
Xavier Muller buck.

Speaker 4 (00:43):
Hello, it's going to be back. I broke my shoulder skiing.
For those that were listening last week, it was my
ace of the week that I was going skiing.

Speaker 5 (00:51):
That didn't work out.

Speaker 2 (00:51):
To drag that hard body is at skiing.

Speaker 4 (00:54):
In my defense, a snowboarder cut me off. It was
a whole thing.

Speaker 2 (00:59):
Yeah, give the TV gub it good and you were
holding him up?

Speaker 5 (01:04):
Wow, what a victim blame?

Speaker 6 (01:06):
Yeah, yeah, gwynis Yeah.

Speaker 1 (01:11):
Across the table we have our dear friend of the
pod and Ossie Tennis star Dasher Several good to hang
me back and in his long awaited pod return, it's
comedian host of the Last Leg in the UK, Tennis
Australian Minister for Everybody and Ossie Absolute star Adam Hill.

Speaker 6 (01:30):
I think talking about me and Dash is doubles partner. Yeah,
we've played at the AO a couple of years back.

Speaker 3 (01:36):
Oh my god, I love that.

Speaker 7 (01:38):
Did you win?

Speaker 2 (01:39):
I don't think there was any winner.

Speaker 6 (01:43):
Who anyway kind of approach to tennis, and you know
sometimes you'd go tennis was the winner.

Speaker 8 (01:47):
I don't even think tennis won.

Speaker 4 (01:50):
Maybe the crowd will get to the audience probably had
a time with our lives.

Speaker 5 (01:53):
That's good.

Speaker 6 (01:54):
I was just because I'd been playing doubles with a
guy with like one arm, so I wasn't used to
having hand signals being given.

Speaker 5 (02:01):
To just the one. Okay, well that's good.

Speaker 8 (02:07):
Can I also explain the way I'm dressed?

Speaker 7 (02:08):
Oh?

Speaker 4 (02:08):
I thought you just stole it off the rack out
the front here at Tennis HQ.

Speaker 6 (02:11):
I just did some little videos as the Minister for
Everybody and I kind of I just thought like it
because I started off thinking, well, I'll dress in a suit,
you know, because I'm like the Minister for everybody. And
then I thought yeah, but most politicians gradually, when they're
around sport, they start wearing sports kit and they start
thinking they're sports stars. So I've gone the gila. Not
many people in Australia corters you.

Speaker 3 (02:33):
I've got English friends who talk about Yeah.

Speaker 6 (02:35):
So that's why I dressed like a complete dag, like
a formal business shirt but with the gila over the top.

Speaker 5 (02:40):
Yeah it is.

Speaker 4 (02:41):
It's very ministerial slash kind of want to be financed broke.

Speaker 6 (02:45):
Yeah, I'm heading towards like John Howard full Australia cricket
kid Aaron.

Speaker 3 (02:49):
Williams on do you have.

Speaker 2 (02:51):
Don't you're in bankrupt.

Speaker 4 (02:53):
If you want to be like a real man of
the people, just go bluntstones. Yeah, all back if you
know they're out of there's plenty of options.

Speaker 8 (03:00):
Yeah that's good.

Speaker 5 (03:01):
So tell us more about Minister for Everybody. I mean,
I know what it is.

Speaker 4 (03:04):
Yeah, but so how are you affiliated with Tennis Australia.
I am.

Speaker 6 (03:08):
So it's kind of like an ambassador for inclusivity for
Tennis Australia. So a lot of the little social media
videos that we're putting out there about accessibility at the AO,
I mean, you know, there's nowhere at the AO that
you can't get to in a wheelchair.

Speaker 8 (03:24):
Like everything's accessible. It's amazing.

Speaker 6 (03:26):
This year they're doing like a kind of pre sale
for people with disabilities. There's All Abilities Week coming up,
which is huge. That's October twentieth to the twenty sixth,
just to encourage people with you know, any.

Speaker 8 (03:40):
Ability to get out and play tennis.

Speaker 6 (03:42):
Because what I've realized is that there's a real gap
out there and there's loads of people with disabilities who think, well,
I have to be in a wheelchair to play right
disability tennis, And the truth is you don't, and sometimes
you can't.

Speaker 8 (03:56):
You know, if you've got one arm, you can't use
a wheelchair. You just go in circles. If you short statute,
you can't use a wheelchair.

Speaker 6 (04:02):
So and a lot of people with disabilities think they're
not going to be catered for. Like I've noticed a
lot of people and especially parents with kids, thinking are
they going to be all right when they turn up
with one arm to play? And like you're going to
be so fine? The whole point of being a tennis
coach is trying to find a way around. Okay, well
that doesn't work.

Speaker 4 (04:21):
Let's try to because it's not just you know, a
physical disability or something. It could just be you're not
very good at a left handed backhand. Let's switch it up.
So a coach's job is to find a way forward, is.

Speaker 6 (04:32):
To adapt and so and it's you know, it's not
just physical disability, it's it's intellectually impairments, it's it's blind
and levision, it's like it's everything. So you know, part
of the thing that I'm doing for tennis strategy is
just letting everybody know that anyone can play tennis.

Speaker 8 (04:45):
Yeah, and also playing myself.

Speaker 4 (04:47):
Yeah, well tell us about Paris standing. So for those
that don't mean for the three people here who don't
know who Adam Hills is.

Speaker 5 (04:54):
So you you have a disability.

Speaker 6 (04:56):
I have a disability. I was born without a right foot.
Tennis and rugby legue. With the two sports I played
the most as a kid, but then I play I
ended up coaching tennis when I was like eighteen nineteen twenty.

Speaker 8 (05:07):
And then then found comedy.

Speaker 6 (05:09):
Got distracted by staying up late and doing stand up
comedy gigs, so that took over.

Speaker 3 (05:14):
That takes the coaching.

Speaker 2 (05:16):
Hours don't align well.

Speaker 6 (05:18):
I mean, afternoon coaching was fine if we were right,
sleep till midday, get on court it too.

Speaker 8 (05:24):
But then yeah, and then I was asked a few times.

Speaker 6 (05:28):
To play wheelchair tennis and it never kind of like
I'd never been in a wheel chair need one, No,
And it's a different style of hitting, do you know
what I mean? Like you're hitting the ball way above
your heads, and certainly the backhand's completely different because you
kind of you just flip the racket over rather than
hitting that.

Speaker 2 (05:42):
We actually you have to start over pretty much.

Speaker 5 (05:47):
It's a different sport.

Speaker 2 (05:47):
It's a difference, yeah.

Speaker 8 (05:49):
Yeah.

Speaker 6 (05:50):
And also like I've played wheelchair tennis a couple of times,
and when the ball goes short, you try and move
your feet because you're used to doing that. Yeah, and
then you go, why aren't I oh right, yeah push Yeah,
So it never really hit for me. And then a
few years ago I discovered Paris standing tennis. So it's
tennis for people with disabilities who aren't in a wheelchair,
and like I said, people with one arms, people with

(06:10):
cerebral palsy, short statued, all these people who either can't
or don't use wheelchairs, and it's this kind of.

Speaker 8 (06:17):
It's like fight club.

Speaker 6 (06:18):
There's this underground movement around the world of all these
people suddenly coming forward and going, oh, this is what
I've always wanted to do, and I've never had the chance.
And up until recently, the world number one in my category,
because there's four different categories depending on your disability, the
world number one was Yvonnekrreccher, who's Alex Correccha's brother.

Speaker 5 (06:35):
Oh wow wow.

Speaker 6 (06:37):
So he lost his leg in a motorbike accident when
he was fourteen, and then Alex kind of went on
to become what world number two and still turns up
at some of the tournaments. When we play in Barcelona,
Alex comes along, but Ivanne was like the president of
the association. And so in last year I've played at
the last two World champs.

Speaker 3 (06:55):
I've been winning, like placing right.

Speaker 8 (06:59):
In singers, I've done right.

Speaker 4 (07:00):
Match fixing was an issue, okay right.

Speaker 6 (07:03):
In singles I reached the quarters of the World Champs
and then the final of the European Championships in Scherin.
But then in doubles I teamed up with a guy
called Alex Hunt, who is the only player with a
limb difference to actually get an ATP point. Oh okay,
so he's he's born on his left arm just below
the elborn with a racket.

Speaker 8 (07:25):
In retrospect.

Speaker 6 (07:28):
Now he's born without a left hand from below the elbow,
and yet he played.

Speaker 8 (07:33):
I think he reached like top sixteen hundred in the world.

Speaker 5 (07:36):
I mean, that's incredible.

Speaker 8 (07:37):
So luckily I chose Alex as my doubles partner.

Speaker 6 (07:40):
Genius move, and this year we won the World Champs
doubles and then the European Championships the week later. So listen, incredible.
Yeah for one arm, for a guy with one arm,
he carries me a lot.

Speaker 4 (07:55):
What can't you do?

Speaker 8 (07:57):
That's pretty good?

Speaker 5 (07:58):
Now, well, I think that is all.

Speaker 4 (08:00):
We're going to have a heap of information on the
upcoming Oceania, Paris Dani Championships.

Speaker 5 (08:05):
Will put all that in our description pod.

Speaker 4 (08:08):
We'll have links galore and follow us on social and
Adam Hills I want it.

Speaker 5 (08:13):
We will hear so much more. But we've got someone
else here.

Speaker 3 (08:16):
Yeah, we're good Dash.

Speaker 5 (08:17):
Should we see what Dash is up to?

Speaker 4 (08:19):
You don't have to you can say no I want
to talk about tennis bar from my point of view.

Speaker 6 (08:23):
No, to be honest, when I found out that you
were on today, I assumed you were going to be
like remote from New York to give me back country.

Speaker 7 (08:31):
That work out, yeah, not very good. It was a
very business like trip in and out.

Speaker 5 (08:39):
That's okay.

Speaker 2 (08:41):
Got back this Monday. So if you're catching me yawning,
I am a bit jetler. It's my time there.

Speaker 1 (08:49):
Yeah, so good to have you, Dash, it's our win
having you here.

Speaker 4 (08:53):
Let's get into what caught your eye?

Speaker 5 (08:55):
Can I go first?

Speaker 4 (08:56):
Ye?

Speaker 2 (08:56):
Because this one very excited.

Speaker 5 (08:58):
It's getting allowed.

Speaker 4 (09:00):
Sorry, I do get loud when I get really into something.

Speaker 5 (09:02):
Okay, guys.

Speaker 4 (09:03):
No, So Medvedev had an interesting experience at the US Open.
Less about him, more about a particular photographer who found
his way onto court.

Speaker 7 (09:13):
He didn't care about the photographer though, No, it was
more about the umpire.

Speaker 4 (09:18):
Well, what happened because of the photographer. So photographer walked
on court a bit of a distraction. Umpire kind of
gets a bit chisy, says get the hell off the
court now.

Speaker 5 (09:26):
Then it's match point. Yeah.

Speaker 7 (09:29):
I was watching it live. I was like, what is
going on?

Speaker 4 (09:33):
Because he was only his second se so he should
have been going on to his second serve. And then
the umpire goes, okay, we'll do that one again. It's
a duover, folks, get your serve again. Medvedev gets pretty antsy,
loses it.

Speaker 9 (09:44):
It does make sense though, rule book wise, it make sense.
It's basically a let replay that point. Yeah so, but
Medvedev was having none of it. He was geing up
the crowd. The crowd starts getting all vocal and it
just gets.

Speaker 2 (09:58):
Nuts and went for six minutes.

Speaker 4 (10:00):
But then Medvedev stole that momentum and won ten of
the next eleven games before finally running out of gas
in the fifth, and Bonzie took it out six three, seven,
five sixty seven.

Speaker 2 (10:10):
Did you want to call him Bonzi?

Speaker 4 (10:11):
Well, he's bigger than a little tree. I did have
to check. I didn't want to be insensitive, you know me.
I'm all about carring and making sure I say people's
Isn't that right?

Speaker 2 (10:21):
Brian no worries Chav.

Speaker 5 (10:25):
Oh that's hurtful, you.

Speaker 2 (10:27):
Know how sometimes Xavier's Shavier.

Speaker 4 (10:30):
No, I do sometimes get Javier, but also Chav is
like the UK.

Speaker 8 (10:35):
Yeah, I love that you knew that you knew what
you were doing whatever.

Speaker 4 (10:40):
Swimming pill, swimming pool pill? Yeah, that's mine. Anyone else
see the moment? I think we all did?

Speaker 8 (10:46):
We all did you saw.

Speaker 4 (10:47):
It live life?

Speaker 2 (10:49):
I was like, what the heck is happening?

Speaker 7 (10:51):
And it was very entertaining, like I wanted him to
keep going. But I felt horrible for Bonzai, Yeah, Bonzi.

Speaker 2 (11:00):
Because he was just always a little bit really well
and I didn't see it. I don't think Medvedev.

Speaker 4 (11:07):
I think he didn't handle it that well.

Speaker 7 (11:09):
He just but I actually think he didn't think he
did anything.

Speaker 4 (11:14):
But do you think it was strategic? Like was he
trying to break that?

Speaker 5 (11:19):
Okay? He was just a firebrand.

Speaker 7 (11:21):
I think he was just angry and he was like
he wanted well, he said that you just want to
go home.

Speaker 4 (11:28):
Yeah, you paid by the hour, you paid by the
match to the umpire.

Speaker 7 (11:31):
Yeah, well I might as well get the crowd going
for a few minutes and until lay the match.

Speaker 4 (11:37):
So yeah, but I think, yeah, it was interesting. But
I think had it actually really changed the result and
Bondsie had lost, I reckon they would have been very
different attitude in that press.

Speaker 9 (11:47):
I also feel terrible for the photography photographer Cell Cook's
let go.

Speaker 2 (11:53):
So Noah Cred.

Speaker 4 (11:55):
Lost his accreditation, which is like the ultimate thing to
happen at a Grand Slam. Yeah, either a player or
an employee or anyone. Have you access taken?

Speaker 1 (12:05):
Yeah, but he seems to feel like he was told
by security he could go on. But the US has
come out and said that he had been told to
stay in play. So who knows?

Speaker 2 (12:15):
Like in those where was where was it going?

Speaker 7 (12:19):
Did he just I think he thought that the serf
was in or whatever and it was overcau.

Speaker 2 (12:28):
And who's going in for the celebration shot?

Speaker 4 (12:30):
Look, we all make mistakes. I love international television.

Speaker 2 (12:33):
Taking pictures as well.

Speaker 3 (12:35):
Yeah, he just went behind. I would have scurried away
so bloody.

Speaker 2 (12:38):
Fast, horrible there as like the cameras were on him.

Speaker 6 (12:45):
Do you think in an instance like that, but if
you're an umpire, do you think as an umpire you
just have to sit there and take it or do
you think there should be like because there's other sports
like if you were in rugby and you yelled at
a referee like that, you'd be off the pitch with seconds,
you know. I Look, I've played disability rugby in the
North of England. You have to call the referee, sir?

Speaker 8 (13:06):
Do you know what I mean? I've had moments where.

Speaker 6 (13:09):
Like I've captained our team and three blokes have come
over to talk to the referee and he's gone, He's
looked at the other two and gone, no, no, you
guys talk to me. I'm sending you off. And he's
looked at me and gone, you're the captain. You're the
only person that gets to talk to me. And I'm like, okay, So, sir,

(13:29):
do you think do you think the players get away
with too much when they yell at the umpire like that?

Speaker 2 (13:34):
I think so I think they should.

Speaker 7 (13:36):
I would be like, I'll be the first warning, second one, like, well.

Speaker 4 (13:41):
I feel it's very You're right, Adham, it's that kind
of like it takes forever for an umpire finally go
all right, I'm just going to say unsportsmanlike conducts. Can
you please stop being mean to me?

Speaker 1 (13:54):
Okay, well, that was a good one to say. We'll
move on to Jasher caught her right. Well, I've got two.

Speaker 7 (14:01):
The first one would be Eights is making the second
rounds and very excited about pri as well.

Speaker 2 (14:10):
She just made her third round.

Speaker 7 (14:12):
I think it's for the first time in her career
that she made a third round, is it, Yeah, yes,
it is, yes, so very happy. She's one of my
good friends. So yeah.

Speaker 4 (14:25):
Yeah.

Speaker 7 (14:25):
The other what's caught my nose was actually, well I
read the presso yeah, Caspar Rude saying how New York sinks?

Speaker 2 (14:40):
I actually very much agree with him.

Speaker 4 (14:43):
There are many smells in the city of New York.
What's the main one?

Speaker 2 (14:47):
Dash the weed?

Speaker 8 (14:49):
Yeah, and do you mean the city or at the
US Open both?

Speaker 2 (14:52):
Yeah? Wow, I mean it's everywhere.

Speaker 8 (14:55):
So when you're playing you can smell weed.

Speaker 2 (14:57):
Yeah.

Speaker 7 (14:58):
Yeah, you'd be wedding dying in the hit and then
it hits you.

Speaker 5 (15:04):
Wow.

Speaker 2 (15:04):
It's like it's not always nice.

Speaker 8 (15:06):
But oh my god.

Speaker 6 (15:06):
So Wimbledon is not the only toement on grass.

Speaker 9 (15:10):
It was.

Speaker 6 (15:13):
Okay, But how does that affect you as a player.
There's some passive smoke going on.

Speaker 4 (15:18):
You have to be worried about your analysis at the end.

Speaker 2 (15:22):
Yeah, I don't think so. It's very strong and I
really hate the smell of it.

Speaker 5 (15:30):
Yeah I do too.

Speaker 4 (15:31):
I hate I remember, like last time I was in
New York, Yes, smell that, But then the time before
before it was all legal and everyone's kumbaya. It was
that smell of like like steam and like hot dog water,
just that kind of rubbishy smell.

Speaker 5 (15:46):
But now they've got they.

Speaker 4 (15:47):
Did you see recently the Mayor of New York like
had wheelibins and like, we've got this innovative product. We're
no longer going to just have bags off Australia. Yeah,
so now you can't smell the garbage, but you can
smell the weight.

Speaker 7 (16:01):
The guy was just everywhere Are you kidding? I was
just there so coming back a photo of the garbage
because we were passing this whole pile of like just
trash donuts and I don't know why, must have been
from a donut shop, but I was like, wow, would
be all over it?

Speaker 2 (16:22):
Like you could never live.

Speaker 5 (16:24):
I wouldn't leave, would.

Speaker 2 (16:28):
In New York?

Speaker 6 (16:29):
Can that also, as you said, can that affect you
afterwards when you do a drug test.

Speaker 2 (16:32):
Like into your blood streams?

Speaker 4 (16:35):
Okay, well I'm going to find this out because like
when you like the whole thing of like passive smoking,
it can affect you even though you're smoking true but
passive marijuanaess.

Speaker 6 (16:47):
I mean, no wonder you've got photographers just wandering court
in the middle of the point, where's my car?

Speaker 5 (16:59):
This? Get this back on the marijuana?

Speaker 3 (17:01):
To my what caught my eye?

Speaker 1 (17:04):
Can't go past just in anywhere if you're just a
living person at the moment.

Speaker 3 (17:08):
The fact that Taylor Sep getting engaged to Travis Kelson.

Speaker 5 (17:13):
Just taking you this long in the show to get
that into I can't.

Speaker 3 (17:16):
Believe you didn't put me first.

Speaker 1 (17:17):
But I don't remember as I'll be really quick because
it's really basic. But yeah, so they got engaged, and
then it did come up during broadcast at the US Open,
So I do have a tennis tie here.

Speaker 3 (17:29):
We're going to flick quickly to the video.

Speaker 4 (17:32):
Taylor Swift is engaged, so this is the commentator. Yeah,
during a life man, she.

Speaker 9 (17:40):
Is engaged to be she's going.

Speaker 4 (17:42):
To get married. So he said, yes, religion.

Speaker 2 (17:49):
Talking about a midpoint as well.

Speaker 5 (17:52):
Like you can you can hear the ball has been served?

Speaker 4 (17:54):
And then it's like, hey, you can hear his colleague
kind of going, yeah, that's cool and all can we
talk about the US Open Championship.

Speaker 1 (18:01):
So funny though, because it was like, do you know what,
I think the world stood still for a moment there
when we all realized.

Speaker 2 (18:07):
She had got engaged.

Speaker 1 (18:08):
Like even on Instagram's Instagram they put a story up
that said, oh my god, check Taylor Swifts Instagram and
it's like it was just everyone stopped and went mad.
And then also Igor who is friend of the pod, and.

Speaker 2 (18:24):
We did it.

Speaker 4 (18:24):
We do love Eager at the pod.

Speaker 2 (18:25):
We do.

Speaker 1 (18:26):
We did a piece of content with her last year
all about Taylor Swift.

Speaker 4 (18:30):
Because she's a swifty I believe is the nomenclatcher.

Speaker 3 (18:34):
Yes, she's swifty.

Speaker 1 (18:35):
And she actually played on the day that Taylor got
engaged and then won. And then in her press conference,
four minutes and forty eight seconds of her press conference
were only questions about Taylor Swift.

Speaker 4 (18:48):
But was she begrudging about that or was she very
happy to talk?

Speaker 2 (18:51):
Very happy?

Speaker 1 (18:52):
Gotcha, very very happy, And she said, I'm very happy
for her and she deserves the best because she's had
a lot of men.

Speaker 3 (19:01):
She's had a look bad.

Speaker 2 (19:03):
Okay, yeah, have a click from that too, don't we have?

Speaker 8 (19:08):
You were looking on your phone when you came in.

Speaker 6 (19:10):
Have you the people text you in case thinking maybe
Eager doesn't know this yet because you were playing a match.

Speaker 10 (19:17):
No, I texted them, so yeah I knew what I think, like, Yeah,
since she posted I knew the time.

Speaker 8 (19:27):
You were playing. It was very close to posted.

Speaker 10 (19:29):
When I finished. I think that's yeah, maybe that's not
a going sid.

Speaker 5 (19:33):
I don't know in advance. She probably gave tips.

Speaker 1 (19:40):
Yeah, well she has been about this concert before, and
Taylor did call shout her out.

Speaker 2 (19:47):
She wrote her a letter.

Speaker 3 (19:49):
Oh my god?

Speaker 5 (19:49):
Ye who wrote who letter?

Speaker 2 (19:52):
Taylor wrote wrote eager letter.

Speaker 4 (19:55):
Okay, that's one to one fandom. Letst your fan base
all the time. I mean, if that were eager, you probably.

Speaker 8 (20:04):
I'm more likely to write a letter to Taylor Swift, but.

Speaker 5 (20:08):
Then you would get a season desist in btulity, but.

Speaker 6 (20:11):
Also like one of my enduring memories of last year's
US Open is Taylor Swift and Travis Kelsey singing, singing
I Believe anything called love.

Speaker 3 (20:19):
And they were drinking on their honey juices.

Speaker 5 (20:21):
Oh that's actually.

Speaker 4 (20:25):
Some of our team were over at the US Open
and somebody brought back something that I saw in the
gift shop and you need a hand.

Speaker 2 (20:31):
Open, don't come there back already.

Speaker 4 (20:36):
Well, they were just doing shit. We had you know,
we need them here as well.

Speaker 2 (20:39):
But I say I want business trip like me.

Speaker 4 (20:43):
One about producers. Vic spotted this in the US Open
gift shop. It's a honey juice scented candle.

Speaker 7 (20:51):
Actually, you know what, I never smelled. I never try to.
The next best.

Speaker 4 (20:56):
Honey juice is their like signature cocktail in partnership with
Greg Good.

Speaker 1 (21:00):
Right do we have we have open the Lemons Lemonase Lemonae.

Speaker 4 (21:08):
So here it is the honey juice. It's actually really
good scented candle. Just smells like a candle. There's minimal
vodka smell, which I'm quite sad about.

Speaker 1 (21:18):
So yeah, thanks to Taylus for bringing joy to our
lives and for Igger loving her also.

Speaker 3 (21:23):
But we're going to move into you.

Speaker 2 (21:24):
Adam caught your right.

Speaker 8 (21:27):
The fashion.

Speaker 6 (21:28):
The fashion this last week Naomi Asaka, I mean she
has been raising the game for a little while with her.

Speaker 4 (21:35):
She always walk on outfit, but then her actual play,
like look at that on the right there we've got Naomi, Yeah,
just through it, talk through her.

Speaker 6 (21:43):
Look Okay, so she had, I mean even the way
she walked on cord with her hair, hair out and down,
roses in her hair, bedazzled headphones and.

Speaker 3 (21:54):
Top la boo boo.

Speaker 2 (22:00):
I think it's not like actual.

Speaker 4 (22:04):
They's just Oh my god, if we can't talking about leabobos,
I'm going to jump off the road.

Speaker 5 (22:09):
Okay, that's it, adam Osaka. She's got pantaloons on.

Speaker 8 (22:13):
She's kind of got pantalon like.

Speaker 6 (22:14):
It's just a little oh my bad. Yeah, it looks
like and I love that she's been doing this for
a little while. She's been taking her looks to the
court Coca Golf as well, was nailing it with her
particular look.

Speaker 4 (22:26):
She just looks cool, like she looks like just about us,
and there's something I think there's something very New York
about their looks as well, and the fashion.

Speaker 8 (22:36):
I also love that Venus Williams was in all white.

Speaker 4 (22:40):
I thought it was quite plain, but you were mentioning.

Speaker 6 (22:42):
It was in reference to an outfit that Althia Gibson wore.
It was her eighty fifth birthday, I think, and she
was the first black player to win a Grand Slam.

Speaker 4 (22:52):
So I thought you were saying Venus was eighty five,
and I'm like, oh, she looks amazing.

Speaker 8 (22:57):
Will still be playing.

Speaker 2 (23:00):
Enough. Flauri is like.

Speaker 7 (23:02):
People players knew about that about why Venus.

Speaker 2 (23:09):
So it's really it's really cool.

Speaker 7 (23:11):
I wish like in the press of the well, they asked,
or yeah, you find out Instagram.

Speaker 6 (23:18):
Okay, all of this I know from Instagram is what
page do you follow?

Speaker 3 (23:25):
Because we need to follow it.

Speaker 4 (23:26):
Yeah, I think it's probably easy to list the ones
you aren't and they you're all in on fashion.

Speaker 1 (23:29):
They are celebrating Gibson out the US Open for those
very two facts that you brought up.

Speaker 5 (23:35):
Well, hopefully they bring up what Venus was wearing.

Speaker 4 (23:38):
But yeah, but the thing about this because Winmoden is
all white, so that's kind of hard to break through.
The French is all it's very cool fashion. And correct
me if I'm wrong, because you're the expert under saying
my opinion. Thoughts The French a bit couture? Yeah, the
word right, But the US is like boom here.

Speaker 6 (23:54):
Yeah, And I think the US is like it's almost
like the the US Open is like the Gala of
Grand Slams.

Speaker 2 (24:01):
I like that.

Speaker 7 (24:04):
All the brands Assex they have a night outfit. Most
of the brands they have a night outfit. I think
it started from Sharp, from the actual outfit that she
wore when she won Wimbledon.

Speaker 6 (24:19):
You're right by inspired by I think it's Audrey hepburn
in breakfast and Tiffany's don't have back next sandwich.

Speaker 7 (24:28):
My night.

Speaker 1 (24:28):
Coco has got a day and night outfit. She always
so was that a night outfit then she would.

Speaker 3 (24:35):
Have been the night.

Speaker 1 (24:36):
If it's dark the little it has a lighter one
during the day generally, Well that's what she had.

Speaker 7 (24:41):
She had a white skirt, don't get maybe.

Speaker 8 (24:45):
See I think the men need to up there.

Speaker 5 (24:48):
To shave their heads.

Speaker 2 (24:49):
She probably only blaze night matches anyway.

Speaker 6 (24:51):
I think I kind of feel like Roger had a
certain fashion sense about him, Like he would say, even
at Wimbledon, where it is all white, he'd still manage.

Speaker 8 (24:58):
To make it. Roger and I know, like doesn't Rube
Lev have his own fashion l life? I think?

Speaker 1 (25:05):
And he dedicates funds to mental health. Yeah, a lot
of men are dressing in black this US Open.

Speaker 3 (25:11):
Have you noticed that?

Speaker 7 (25:12):
I think that's the night match and that nightsex was that.

Speaker 3 (25:18):
Yeah, they're very dark and shiny as six this year.

Speaker 8 (25:21):
Yeah, yeah, I saw Demonor was all in black. We know.

Speaker 2 (25:24):
I liked it on the man, I don't know if
I like that.

Speaker 6 (25:28):
So I'm going to the US Open next week to
play Paris standing tennis.

Speaker 4 (25:31):
Yes, amazing.

Speaker 6 (25:32):
So there's an invitational. It's purely strictly amateur. If anyone
from US immigrations is listening, I don't need a visa
for it.

Speaker 5 (25:39):
What's your look?

Speaker 8 (25:40):
Well, do you know what?

Speaker 6 (25:41):
I purposely, I'm really worried that I'm not going to
be allowed in because of social media posts, like if
they go through I'm a comedian, and if they go
through some of the jokes that I've put up on social.

Speaker 8 (25:50):
Media, I'm going to have to defend myself.

Speaker 5 (25:53):
So I look forward to seeing you're banged up.

Speaker 8 (25:56):
So I went out.

Speaker 6 (25:58):
I went out to the Wilson Saw this week and
I got I've got white shirt, red shorts, blue cat.
So I'm at least looking red, white and blue.

Speaker 2 (26:05):
Yeah.

Speaker 8 (26:07):
Oh the Americans don't know what other.

Speaker 7 (26:09):
Flags most flags anyway, right, Yeah, I could.

Speaker 8 (26:17):
I could also be like Belgian or Dutch. I think
if I go and.

Speaker 5 (26:21):
Talking about eagles and stuff.

Speaker 6 (26:23):
But I think, to answer your question, I think I
think Wimbledon is tradition, so it's white, but you can
still do classy white. French is a bit cature. Like
I noticed this year, wasn't I mean Cinea.

Speaker 8 (26:34):
Was wearing blue and green. From memory, he looked.

Speaker 6 (26:37):
And had the black and white stripe, remember, but it
kind of it was almost like the rolling garass colors
though I think there was some thought behind clay Us
is met Gala and Australian is just some barbecue.

Speaker 8 (26:49):
Yeah, like if you think everyone's just like colorful, it
doesn't have to be fashion as.

Speaker 2 (26:53):
Well as true.

Speaker 5 (26:56):
But also no one's going to judge you for it.

Speaker 4 (26:58):
You want to play tennis and thongs or flip depending
where you are.

Speaker 6 (27:02):
I want to see a male player at the Australian
Open wearing like a barbecue shirt.

Speaker 4 (27:08):
I'm thinking of like Bin Tang.

Speaker 2 (27:10):
That's where my head.

Speaker 5 (27:13):
That's cool, that's great. So who's the sponsor.

Speaker 2 (27:18):
BI in Indonesia?

Speaker 1 (27:20):
Oh yeah, So we'll just quickly highlight some upsets, or
maybe not upsets, but things that we've been thinking about.

Speaker 3 (27:27):
Fonseca went out to mahuked.

Speaker 1 (27:31):
One, which is great. We've still got Radakano in there.
A bit of icy play today between Towns and Ostapenko
with Towns and taking that one out which was a
good match.

Speaker 4 (27:42):
Another Taylor.

Speaker 3 (27:43):
Yeah, they had a bit of a bit of beef really,
but it.

Speaker 2 (27:48):
Can't really Kio no, do they shake hands.

Speaker 7 (27:52):
I don't know, but I think us at Bank or
they were like really talking about something.

Speaker 2 (27:59):
They had a big chat right after the match.

Speaker 8 (28:03):
That happens a lot with osterk.

Speaker 2 (28:05):
I felt that she was quite disrespectful.

Speaker 7 (28:09):
I didn't even see the match, but Taylor would have
been getting the crowd going she was, which I would
do too.

Speaker 2 (28:18):
Yeah, come on, do you expect if.

Speaker 6 (28:22):
We've learned nothing else from Jimmy Connors, exactly to get
the crowd.

Speaker 8 (28:25):
On your side.

Speaker 4 (28:26):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (28:26):
Look, yeah, take.

Speaker 3 (28:30):
And add break and then we'll come back with our
fantasy draft update.

Speaker 4 (28:38):
Well, welcome back, more tennis time here at Pod Labor
Arena with Adam Hills and Dasher and the Redhead.

Speaker 2 (28:47):
Frederie comments, do you.

Speaker 8 (28:48):
Know what though that really is? That?

Speaker 6 (28:49):
That sounds like a cop show ready to be made.
Dasher and the Redhead their detective.

Speaker 4 (28:56):
Yeah, one's a detective, one's a kelpie.

Speaker 2 (29:02):
I want to beat the dog.

Speaker 5 (29:04):
I've met your dog. She's beautiful.

Speaker 4 (29:06):
So we are in the midst of US Open Week
one is almost out of the way, and I thought
we'd have a quick update. Last week on the show,
we did our US Open Fantasy draft.

Speaker 5 (29:16):
That is your number two for Dasha.

Speaker 4 (29:18):
So Team Bree, Team Kock with the Nasi and Team Stevie.
I guess from last week all picked two women and
two men. So far pretty good. Everyone still has three
in the mix. How are you feeling, Bre, You're still
confident you do have the two top seats. Well, like you,
you close your eys and you just sort.

Speaker 3 (29:36):
Of that thing choose different players.

Speaker 4 (29:39):
Yeah, I mean the producers work it all out and
we just read what they write. Really but basically the yeah,
so Fanasi, Bri and Stevie all chose how they are.
So Team Bree, Sinner, Andreva Sabalanca are still in it,
Draper out, Team Kock and archists zverev Ega Boco's out
and Alcarez still in. And then teams Stevie Demon not

(30:01):
Fritz Goff with Madison Keys reigning Australian Open champion sadly
out of the mix.

Speaker 7 (30:05):
And then Brie you had first pick because you went
number one seeds.

Speaker 4 (30:10):
It was quite interesting because the Nasi chose al Chiraz
first after Brie chose Sabalenka. I believe, yeah, but there
was a few curve balls in there, I think Stevie.

Speaker 2 (30:20):
So you didn't have to go a female.

Speaker 5 (30:22):
No, No, you could do whatever you want.

Speaker 6 (30:24):
Yeah, I love the like the analytical tennis player mind. Yeah,
then getting inside your mind and going, okay, how did
you choose.

Speaker 7 (30:31):
All of them?

Speaker 1 (30:32):
I I was kind of like watching that, the boys
didn't really understand how it worked.

Speaker 3 (30:36):
She's wrong. At first, I was.

Speaker 4 (30:38):
Like, that makes more sense because they thought they had
to pick men first, and Bree's like, oh my god,
I'm the third pick in the first round, but I'm
still going to get Sablenka.

Speaker 1 (30:48):
Yeah yeah, And then I was I did have good
hopes for Draper, and I did know he'd been injured, so.

Speaker 4 (30:55):
That was a bit of a mistake on my b Yeah,
you've got a crush on him.

Speaker 3 (30:57):
So no, it's not because of that. He's good.

Speaker 5 (31:01):
He's fifth seed. What was Yeah?

Speaker 3 (31:04):
Anyway, hopefully it opens up.

Speaker 4 (31:05):
So looking at that board, Dash Adam, whose team would
you be backing after the first round is done?

Speaker 2 (31:11):
Well, I think it's either Bri or.

Speaker 4 (31:16):
The Nasi because you've chosen sixty percent of the options.
If you had to choose one, is it bre or FANASI?

Speaker 8 (31:23):
If it helps, I think I'm going team Brie.

Speaker 7 (31:25):
Okay, I think there's like it's literally fifty to fifty.
There's Alcaraz and swite alcorazt it okay, I'll go with
team Brie.

Speaker 4 (31:37):
Fine, but then like, mate, I feel your pain.

Speaker 5 (31:43):
I don't want to go Team Brie.

Speaker 2 (31:44):
Why didn't anyone pick Paulinium? Sorry? Yeah, I picked her
last time?

Speaker 5 (31:50):
And how that work out for you?

Speaker 7 (31:51):
You won? You won?

Speaker 2 (31:53):
I mean with pigs.

Speaker 3 (31:55):
But do you know what?

Speaker 1 (31:55):
I also picked some of my favorites, like Andreva. I
love her, so she's in every fantasy.

Speaker 5 (32:01):
Draft of mine and she's not gonna win.

Speaker 1 (32:03):
And I wanted Alex because I love Alex, but Stevie
got him.

Speaker 2 (32:07):
You know what I mean?

Speaker 3 (32:08):
You kind of there's no you know how you're so strategic.

Speaker 5 (32:11):
I'm not.

Speaker 2 (32:13):
I'm not.

Speaker 7 (32:14):
I would just be competitive, and I would be like,
who do I I'm also not competitive.

Speaker 8 (32:19):
Also shout out to Paulini for the photo of the Week.

Speaker 2 (32:22):
I thought there was Ai first.

Speaker 6 (32:24):
I was like, goggles on, So she's using a your
X racket. We haven't seen her and each of her
eyes is through one of the dots.

Speaker 4 (32:31):
And the bottom of it trying. It was a photo
of the.

Speaker 6 (32:39):
The photographer looking back and just going I wonder what
photos like.

Speaker 8 (32:42):
Oh my god, exactly.

Speaker 2 (32:43):
It's so good.

Speaker 4 (32:44):
Hello everyone, I have taken the photo.

Speaker 7 (32:48):
She will have to surely he wins like this competition's
like best photography sports will be like really or.

Speaker 2 (32:56):
She I don't.

Speaker 6 (32:57):
I really hope it's the same photographer that walk on
call during that finally redeemed him.

Speaker 2 (33:04):
I think it's an Italian photographer.

Speaker 4 (33:06):
You're right, Yeah, well that was our draft wrap up.
Let us know in the comments whose team you would
like to back, or if you've got your own thoughts
or you hate the segment, let us know.

Speaker 1 (33:17):
Remember I hated it too until one comment.

Speaker 4 (33:24):
Jump into the You can have a chat with Dash
if you like, from a fin start.

Speaker 5 (33:29):
Or from your real account, my.

Speaker 2 (33:30):
Real Instagram, on you on YouTube.

Speaker 3 (33:35):
I'm good.

Speaker 2 (33:35):
I need to go find it.

Speaker 5 (33:36):
No, she's the one who hates you, which anyway. More
big news.

Speaker 4 (33:41):
Out of the US Open International Tennis Hall of Fame
had their ceremony this week, with Maria Sharapova and the
Brian Brothers being inducted, but there was a bit of
a surprise element.

Speaker 5 (33:50):
It was what happened.

Speaker 3 (33:51):
Serena Williams was there to present it.

Speaker 5 (33:53):
That would have surprised me.

Speaker 1 (33:54):
Yeah, that was amazing. She introduced Sheriff Pova to the
Hall of Fame at the induction and they had a
really lovely hug. The crowd was gasping with joy, and
they talked about their deep respect for each other because
obviously there's been a long time running belief that they
had beef.

Speaker 4 (34:13):
Well, I feel like it was one of those rivalries
that didn't really exist, like people wanted it to be
a rival.

Speaker 2 (34:18):
I think they did have. They did have, they did
have bit oh.

Speaker 3 (34:23):
Well, I was I was reading now.

Speaker 2 (34:24):
I think they like they genuinely think they did so.

Speaker 7 (34:29):
But I think Sirenus said it right, like we wanted
the same things at the same time.

Speaker 5 (34:34):
Of course you can have, you are going to have.

Speaker 2 (34:38):
I don't think they hate.

Speaker 3 (34:39):
They just think if you took it off the court.

Speaker 4 (34:42):
It would be fine, right, Yeah, is making those awesome
long I mean.

Speaker 7 (34:45):
They're not going to go to dinner together because they're competitors.

Speaker 5 (34:48):
But so I took over people.

Speaker 4 (34:50):
When I get excited about confectionery, sugar pos sugar Pova,
remember that was that still a thing, sugar Pova?

Speaker 2 (34:55):
Yeah not, I don't think so.

Speaker 5 (34:58):
First tennis player to make it big in the low
you land.

Speaker 3 (35:01):
That's actually quite good.

Speaker 2 (35:02):
Sugar. Pova Serena has her makeup brand.

Speaker 7 (35:09):
I actually use her Muscaa so we got it as
a player gift at the US Open last year, and
I use the stuff like it's good.

Speaker 2 (35:19):
The Muscara is really good. I like it.

Speaker 4 (35:21):
I don't think she makes out pluge.

Speaker 2 (35:24):
Maybe not, but it's called win. I think, what.

Speaker 8 (35:30):
Products are you going to start putting out under the market?

Speaker 2 (35:32):
Yeah no, I mean dog food.

Speaker 8 (35:36):
It's not bad.

Speaker 6 (35:37):
Donuts, donuts for dogs, dashes, donuts for dogs, donuts, dognuts.

Speaker 4 (35:46):
We've done it. We're gonna have prototype available next week.

Speaker 8 (35:51):
I did.

Speaker 7 (35:52):
I did make dashlets during COVID bracelets like bearded bracelets,
and I call it dash Yeah. I still have the
page like on the in I don't know, but it
was like creating really complicated designs, like it was thinking
here forever.

Speaker 8 (36:10):
So you just need to make sure that every player
at the IO next year gets I think.

Speaker 7 (36:14):
I did it one year, but I'm over it, like
I can't beating again, Like, okay, but.

Speaker 5 (36:20):
How many dognuts can you?

Speaker 10 (36:25):
So?

Speaker 3 (36:25):
Bob and Mike Brian also got inducted.

Speaker 1 (36:28):
They did their last They joked about it their last
chest pump, last publica and they all got presented their
rings at Flushing Meadows, just.

Speaker 5 (36:39):
Like Travis when Taylor gave him.

Speaker 4 (36:41):
At I assume that's the direction I went because she's
wearing the pants in that relationship.

Speaker 2 (36:45):
Oh god, no, he sorry?

Speaker 8 (36:48):
Did he propose? Do you know he proposed? Yeah?

Speaker 4 (36:51):
Okay, as he as he was reading the script that
her people wrote for him.

Speaker 8 (36:55):
I saw a tweet during the week.

Speaker 3 (36:56):
Asked her mom if he could take a hand into
her dad.

Speaker 1 (37:00):
Yeah, and then they facetimes straight after all their families.

Speaker 3 (37:04):
It's really cute.

Speaker 4 (37:05):
Should we move on to Ace of the Week? My
favorite bit of the show. We're going to start with you, Adam.
For Ace of the Week, something doesn't have to be
tenest related.

Speaker 8 (37:15):
Slightly tennis related.

Speaker 6 (37:18):
Yesterday, So for the past probably a year and a half,
I've been having a tennis prosthetic leg made from my
prosthetuses in Sydney, and we've been tinkering with it, trying
to get it right, and it wasn't working for me
for a long time. And he came and watched and
I said, when I'm running, I'm tipping to the side.
And he came and watched me a couple of weeks ago,

(37:38):
and he went, oh, right on a running because it's
like a running blade. Yeah, running blades have to be
almost the opposite of pigeontoe. They have to turn out
a little bit, so sprinters when they hit a running blade,
they don't go straight off at the front.

Speaker 8 (37:51):
It's a little bit almost like a duck waddle, okay,
and that gives you the best push. So he gave me.

Speaker 6 (37:56):
He made some adjustments on it so that I could
run on it. And then I had a hit last
week a bay side with John Tricky, you know well,
and suddenly it's a really responsive foot. So my running blade,
when I hit it springs and it pushes me forward.
But it takes a little bit of time. When you're
on a tennis court, you need to move a lot quicker.

(38:16):
It's all about reaction. So this has got a it's stiffer,
so it springs a bit more quickly. So for the
first time it's my back foot. I've never been able
to load up on my back foot when I hit
a forehand. And I went out last week and put
all my weight onto it and went, oh, my good lord,
and it actually pushed me forward when I hit a
forehand on Oh wow. And then I started hitting backhands
and it was more stable. Let the running blade, when

(38:38):
you hit it, it either pushes you forward and you
don't want to or it actually if you hit it
on an angle, it pushes you backwards. So I was
hitting back hands on my right foot and it was
pushing me backwards away from the ball. So now I've
got stability on my backhand, I've got you know, momentum
on my forehand.

Speaker 8 (38:56):
And then we started serving.

Speaker 6 (38:58):
Whenever I serve my left foot, which is the real one,
it does all the work, and the right one just
flops around because I can't really push off it. And
sometimes it flopped so far forward that I would footfall
with the prosthetic aw and I'd be front on, so
there's no power. And last week again John, my coach,
just went, just load up your back foot on your

(39:18):
serve and see what happens. And so I rocked back
onto it and it kind of took a little bit
of pressure and then it lushed me forward and suddenly.

Speaker 8 (39:26):
I was in cannons.

Speaker 6 (39:28):
Wow, this is great, And so I went back to
my procethetus yesterday and he was buzzing. He's been making
he's been making prosthetics for like fifty years. And in fact,
he he said to me, he said, I'm so you
could see he was so excited, and he said, this
is what I hoped was going to happen.

Speaker 2 (39:43):
Oh my god.

Speaker 6 (39:44):
And then he started telling me, he said, it reminds
me of when I started making prosthetics for paralympians. He said,
I was the first person to put the blade at
the back of the foot rather than up front of
the foot, because he said, I watched a video of kangaroos.
I realized, then these go badges and push behind the knees.
So he was and he said, I was the guy
that basically he's just brilliant and like to think the

(40:09):
amount of box so yeah, yeah, And to think now
he's walked away and he's gone great. Now I know
how to make tennis prosthetic legs.

Speaker 5 (40:15):
Yeah, oh my god, that's so cool.

Speaker 6 (40:17):
And so for me, I'm like, oh my god, now
I've got to serve and I've got a bigger forehand,
and like.

Speaker 5 (40:21):
Your game has a whole new dynamic.

Speaker 3 (40:22):
Now we're expecting you to win.

Speaker 6 (40:24):
I mean it's going to be weird if I do
play against people and they go, oh my god, You've
got so much better, and I'll be like, that's just technology.
It's got nothing to do with me. But yeah, that's
been my a the week. It's been amazing, and it's
been amazing with you know John, you know.

Speaker 2 (40:37):
He'll see that, he sees the progression.

Speaker 6 (40:40):
Yeah, and he'll look at me and go, okay, well
that like even we kind of worked out this week.
But sometimes it's better for me if I'm hitting a
volley to just put all my weight on that right
foot because it's stable, so it feels wrong, it's like
an open volley, but it kind of works.

Speaker 9 (40:54):
Well.

Speaker 4 (40:54):
It's all like you and your coach now have like
a whole new kind of quiver of tools to utilize.

Speaker 6 (41:00):
Absolutely, and this goes back to what we're saying at
the very beginning with people with disabilities thinking am I
going to be able to get into tennis? Any decent
coach will go, We'll find a way.

Speaker 8 (41:08):
You'll work it out. So yeah, that's awesome. It's been
really exciting.

Speaker 4 (41:11):
Finally a good ace of the week because well, I'm
only talking about myself minor usually about my kids or
something that I've eaten, or last week was kind of good.

Speaker 2 (41:22):
That's like life changing.

Speaker 5 (41:23):
Yeah, exactly, Yes, it's an ace of everybody's thank you.

Speaker 4 (41:28):
But last week I was banging out about how excited
I was to go skiing on the weekend, and then
this happened, so oh wow, going down a blue run
snowboarder took me out o a t crushed my shoulder
and my ace of the week is not that.

Speaker 5 (41:43):
Well, see, this is the thing.

Speaker 4 (41:45):
It was my son's four year old birthday is well,
I made him a chocolate cake and he really really
loved it with one.

Speaker 5 (41:52):
With one arm.

Speaker 4 (41:53):
So I'm there trying to, you know, make my butter creams,
and I quite like baking, and it's always very good.
Ship I used to bring cupcakes every week. Happened, Well,
you know he got busy working. Yeah, okay, I was
that on Wednesday, like making I made like margarita cupcakes.

Speaker 5 (42:10):
They were really good. They were very Do.

Speaker 8 (42:13):
You feel about making some dog.

Speaker 2 (42:15):
Nuts coming together?

Speaker 7 (42:21):
Well, there is like the dog merge for a by
the way, I need to.

Speaker 5 (42:26):
Have properly kidded out.

Speaker 2 (42:29):
Yeah, like to be.

Speaker 4 (42:33):
The dog the dog official dog of the Yeah, I
mean tofy has been a credit in the past, more
access than I did, because I.

Speaker 7 (42:42):
Am a bit jealous that Collen skies dog dogs everywhere
everywhere because well I can't travel with him. So yeah,
is taking on the spotlight.

Speaker 4 (43:00):
Typhine has taken. Yeah, well Dash, let's stick with you.
What's your race of the weak?

Speaker 2 (43:05):
It's dog not to No, no, sorry, Let's go back
to my original ace of the week. I clean, I clean.

Speaker 7 (43:13):
I cleaned the couch today yesterday for the first time,
and like, I don't know how many years we like
hired the couch the carpet cleaner, like from Bunnings.

Speaker 4 (43:26):
Oh yeahs black water black.

Speaker 7 (43:30):
I was like, no way, oh my god, but it
feels good now it's but then I did it for
two hours and there was still black water, and I
gave up.

Speaker 2 (43:41):
So I'm like, everyone needs to clean their couch.

Speaker 7 (43:45):
Okay, Like I just it's it's not even like just
like the gray blue colors, so it's not it was
it's not white, so you still can't see the dirt.

Speaker 2 (43:59):
Like, but yeah, it's disgusting.

Speaker 4 (44:01):
I would say, is very satisfying, but only when you
get to that clear water.

Speaker 2 (44:07):
I didn't I didn't. I don't know if it's an
as it's disgusted of the week.

Speaker 5 (44:12):
Yeah, okay, that's very doesn't.

Speaker 3 (44:14):
Feel good when you do it right, but it felt
that I.

Speaker 5 (44:18):
Didn't yet trying to pop a people and you don't
get the puts.

Speaker 2 (44:21):
Yeah, that's well, it's not ready.

Speaker 5 (44:24):
Yeah, yeah, you got a way.

Speaker 2 (44:26):
So maybe I've got. I am meeting Tofu's kids, so
that's definitely. Yeah. So it's so cute, So I'm excited
about that.

Speaker 5 (44:37):
How many are going to keep?

Speaker 2 (44:39):
Maybe one?

Speaker 6 (44:40):
But he wasn't a fan, so so I've got I've
got a few questions about this because I followed a
little bit of this on Instagram as well. So you
put Tofu out to have kids with someone else and
you've not met the kids?

Speaker 8 (44:56):
Did Tofu? Escape was a late night Has he been
playing around?

Speaker 4 (44:59):
Like?

Speaker 8 (44:59):
What is this organized?

Speaker 2 (45:01):
It was organized?

Speaker 8 (45:02):
Okay, he's a stud.

Speaker 2 (45:04):
When knew, we kind of.

Speaker 7 (45:06):
Talked about it, yeah, ages ago, and he wasn't the
sex at the start.

Speaker 2 (45:12):
I was like, oh, I don't know.

Speaker 7 (45:14):
Like then I thought, well, they're very beautiful dogs, and
they very healthy, and they're going to like our friends,
so to people that we know, so they will stay
in the family, like with the family.

Speaker 5 (45:27):
With the family, so it's yeah, a little bit godfatherish.

Speaker 7 (45:30):
Also a little bit funny thing is his so in
this household where he went to do the business, the
dead was there, the dead of the of his like.

Speaker 2 (45:44):
No, NAA's the other dog, the female dog.

Speaker 8 (45:47):
The other dog's dad was there, father in law.

Speaker 2 (45:52):
They we had to.

Speaker 4 (45:53):
Take him for a walk though, yeah, because his daughter
was Yeah, but it's.

Speaker 2 (45:57):
Like the grand So it's cool like granddad watching, no.

Speaker 5 (46:02):
Not watching when my kids we can see.

Speaker 7 (46:07):
Mom, mom and dad and granddad. So it's like one
big family and we know where the grandma is as well.
One big family.

Speaker 6 (46:19):
It's a really funny image of like the granddad dog
being taken for a walk, going, why are we going
for a walk?

Speaker 4 (46:25):
That guy?

Speaker 5 (46:25):
That sounds fun?

Speaker 8 (46:27):
And then he comes back and just looking at what
have you two been up to?

Speaker 5 (46:33):
This is the most dog intercourse we've ever discussed.

Speaker 11 (46:36):
And you know, like.

Speaker 2 (46:42):
Dogs don't even enjoy it, just so you know, but
do you know that on the humans.

Speaker 4 (46:47):
That's not true dolphins as well? Okay, what's your eyes
of the week?

Speaker 2 (46:54):
I can't compare everything the week.

Speaker 3 (46:56):
The end of the show, the week is that everyone
gets week off from me? Next week?

Speaker 4 (47:01):

Speaker 3 (47:02):

Speaker 2 (47:05):

go with?

Speaker 4 (47:14):
That's what that is. But I thought she was like,
I'm going to Indonesia with with TikTok and then TikTok's
taking me Tiktoria. It's kind of like it sounds like
you just met this cool gug Tictok.

Speaker 1 (47:23):
Murry is still single. No, I'm going to Korea with
TikTok so that will be fun.

Speaker 4 (47:27):

this new blade in action.

Speaker 8 (48:06):

Speaker 8 (48:16):
Can I tell you? One last thing, I'm gonna have
to clearly carry winding s.

Speaker 6 (48:20):
I when I went up to Sydney because my prosthetis
is in Sydney, because that's where I grew up. So
I went up there last week and again yesterday and
I had to I took a backpack and I had
my prosthetic leg in the backpack and so it goes
through the X ray and then my bag gets taken
off to the side and I have to come over,
so you know. Then it comes up and the security
guard looks at the screen, and then this other guy

(48:41):
comes over and they both look at the screen and
I heard one of them go the fuck. The other
guy whispered to him, and then he looked at me
prosthetic leg and I went, yeah, anyway you can go
yeah bent machine, Yeah, but you're right, make a video
