I'm Mickey Fisher, and welcome to the Village Crazy Lady.

call me crazy because I said it first. Whoever's trying
to come through, whatever messages need to come through, like,
just bring it on. Let's do it. Crazy Crazy Crazy,
The Village Crazy Lady Podcast.
Speaker 1 (00:34):
Hello, Goodeous Legends, and welcome to another episode of the
Village Crazy Lady. This week. You may notice that I
have my meditation voice on, so relaxing. I know it's
a very crazy time of year and we can get
quite anxious, overwhelmed. We might find ourselves constantly in our
(00:59):
head going through the list of things that we need
to do, all the shit that we got to achieve,
and so because of that, I thought it would be
nice to take you on a bit of a journey
or to create a meditation to just help when you're
(01:20):
feeling really in your head, feeling quite anxious, feeling like
there's just a lot of things on your mind, a
lot of things that you are constantly thinking about and
worrying about, and just to really help ground that energy
(01:43):
and release some of the things that maybe aren't really
serving us, and we have the opportunity to let go
of this meditation that is best done in a space
that you can just sit down, take some time. You
(02:06):
can do this with kids. Kids can follow along to this.
It's simple, it doesn't go for very long, but just
create the space for yourself. It's also reiki infused, so
as you're following along with the guided meditation, I'm actually
(02:26):
doing rekier as well to help energetically really relax your
body and help remove some things, help shift some energy,
and help really ground you into earth. You can also
do this meditation as many times as you want. I
(02:50):
want you to find a nice comfy spot can either
lie down, or if you're someone who maybe falls asleep
quite easily listening to meditations, maybe I suggest sitting up.
But we're just going to start slowing down, closing down
(03:14):
our eyes and taking some deep breaths, and we're just
going to take a moment to drop into our body.
This meditation is all about dropping into our body, leaving
(03:39):
our mind behind for a while. And don't worry, I'll
take you on the journey so that we can allow
our mind just some safe space in this meditation. We
(04:00):
don't need our mind to be quiet. We don't need
to make it stop. We're just going to give it
a little break. If you notice yourself thinking of some things,
or you notice yourself drifting back into your mind, just
(04:23):
be gentle with yourself. We don't need to shame. Just
say ah, that's interesting, and then just come back to
listening to my voice. We're just going to let our
(04:49):
mind to know I'm just going to travel to my
heart for a moment. Just prepare it, just let it
know I'm just going to travel to my heart for
a moment. As you listen to my voice, I don't
(05:10):
need you to follow along perfectly. You don't need to
get too concerned about making sure that we're so focused
on following along with the guide verbatim. No, I want
(05:33):
you to trust yourself, allow your body the space to
take you where it needs to go. Please trust yourself
over feeling like you need to follow me. We've let
(05:56):
out mind know that we're just going to drop into
our heart for a moment. I want you to imagine
the pressure in your head melting down until that energy
(06:20):
reaches the center of your chest. We're just going to
focus our energy here for a moment. If you like,
you can place a hand on your heart space at
the center of your chest. Our heart is full of
(06:45):
such honesty and truth, the space that we can come
back to when our head feels overwhelming. You might feel
a heaviness here in this space. This is your heart
(07:08):
trying to anchor you back to it, like awaight, trying
to drag your attention down, which is going to surrender
to the heaviness because you were giving it the attention
that it needs. You notice that a light is starting
(07:38):
to grow from the center of your chest. I want
you to just take notice of what the color of
the light is. Just ask yourself what does that color
mean to you. The light continues to grow until it
(08:08):
feels your entire chest. This light is now beginning to
look like a vortex of light in the center of
your chest. I want you to notice just how this
(08:29):
feels for a moment, focusing on that space in the
center of your chest, breathing in to that area, just
taking a moment. This vourtex of light has opened up
(09:01):
for you like a vacuum. It is ready to take
from you anything that is no longer serving you, anything
that isn't truth, anything that isn't yours, feel it all
(09:27):
being pulled into the vortex, creating a lightness in your body.
As it does. You may know the exact things that
(09:56):
you want to let go off, that you want to
send to this vortex, or maybe you can just surrender
and trust that your body knows what it's ready to
(10:20):
let go of. Notice if your mind is popping up
with some stories or thoughts, and as they pop up,
just say to them, I can let you go now,
(10:44):
And notice these thoughts being sucked into the vortex in
your heart space. Once you feel as though the vortex
(11:08):
has taken for you everything that isn't yours to hold
on to, it begins to close up, creating a closed
sphere of light in the center of your chest. This
(11:33):
ball of light begins moving out of your chest until
it is free, sitting just a few inches from your body.
(11:58):
As this ball of light floats in front of your body,
I want you to take a moment to send it love.
You can say to it over and over, I love you,
(12:19):
gradually melting any shame that we have and instead making
room for compassion for ourselves. You notice how ready this
ball of light is to move on the ball of
(12:41):
light begins traveling towards the Earth, moving down, down, down,
until it connects with the earth, just in front of
your feet. As it connects with the earth to slowly
(13:06):
plant itself into the dirt as though it's a seed,
Mother Earth welcomes it with so much love and gratitude,
thanking you for releasing your worries to her. She envelops
(13:33):
the seed of light in leaves and vines, taking for
you all that you have let go. Until eventually the
light goes out completely. A breeze appears from nowhere, a
(14:10):
kiss from nature, breathing fresh energy into your body. Notice
that fresh energy in your feet, your legs, your pelvis,
your stomach, up, your back, your chest, your arms, your fingers,
(14:43):
your throat, up your neck, your your your face, and
finally your head. Just take a moment to feel into
(15:03):
this lightness. Take a moment to feel into how grounded
you are feeling, how connected you are to your heart,
how relaxed your shoulders and jewel are. Allow yourself to
(15:36):
smile if it feels natural, and wrap your arms around
yourself in a hut. Hold yourself for a while. Sometimes
we forget to mother ourselves. We forget to hold ourselves
(16:02):
and love ourselves, care for ourselves before you let yourself go.
I just want you to tell yourself I love you,
(16:23):
and even offer yourself some advice. If you were a
mother speaking to a child, what advice would you have
to offer yourself? Right now? I remind her as well
(16:48):
of how incredible our minds can be. When you're ready,
you can release yourself. We go your fingers and toes
(17:16):
and open your eyes. Take a really big breath as well.
Want to open your eyes and release it like a sigh.
You can do that a few times. Big breath in
(17:39):
and release that breath like a sigh, smiling if it
feels natural, noticing what's in the room around you, coming
back into this world, and taking a moment just to
be completely present with this very moment, remembering that you
(18:08):
have no control over anything that has happened to before
this moment, and you have no control over what happens
after this moment. The only thing that you have control
over is what you are doing right now. It is
(18:31):
the only thing that predicts the future. So just take
a moment to be really present right now. I hope
that you're feeling a little bit lighter, a little bit
(18:53):
more fresh. I want you to do something that is
for you, something that takes care of you. I hope
you will have a beautiful, beautiful day or night or
whatever it is that you wherever you are. And don't
(19:15):
forget to leave a review and rate this podcast if
you love it. It means so much to me and helps
this podcast out a lot. And let me know how
you went with the meditation as well. I love hearing
everybody's responses. Send me a message at the Village Crazy
