I’m joined by the incredible Mervat Quirke—General Manager of Bloomhill Cancer Care and someone whose story of resilience, compassion, and purpose is as inspiring as it is moving.
Mervat is a mother of five, a community advocate, and a woman who knows firsthand the depth of pain that comes with loss—after tragically losing her husband to cancer in 2006. But through that heartbreak, she found strength. And through that strength, she discovered a calling—to be of service to others navigating the chaos and uncertainty that comes with a cancer diagnosis.
In this conversation, Mervat shares the values she was raised with, the pivotal moments that shaped her, and the impact Bloomhill had on her life when she needed it most. We also talk about the powerful work happening at Bloomhill today, the importance of community care, and how each of us can support those walking the cancer journey.
