The popcorn moment, let's go, let's go to show. It's
the story you need to hear to believe, and grab
your popcorn because there is more. I am paying attention
to this weather and how it's going to affect yourroblem

(01:39):
because my mother, Matt Bear, who asked about you?

Speaker 2 (01:44):
My mother got off the plane yesterday. She arrived in Indianapolis.

Speaker 1 (01:48):
Now, just a quick little backstory about Diane who did uh?
She did ask if you were coming to Thanksgiving, Matt Bear.

Speaker 2 (01:55):
Diane did ask. She she is concerned with you?

Speaker 3 (01:58):
Oh no, in my heart.

Speaker 2 (02:01):
Right, genuine, genuine concern. So my mother.

Speaker 1 (02:07):
Had a whole big health thing a couple of years ago.
It was a rough couple of years and then got better.
My father passed away another health the life is happening
in real time. You've been through it as well. My
mother was feeling better. My mother was feeling better. My
mother started not feeling well. My mother two weeks ago

(02:29):
and a half ago. Two week and a half ago,
my mother's in the hospital. It's an infection.

Speaker 2 (02:34):
She's there for like four days.

Speaker 1 (02:36):
Everything gets better, but a little bit older, needs a
little bit of work to get the legs work, and
again goes to rehab, not that kind of rehab, rehab
and is there well. My mother was supposed to be
there yesterday and she said, nah, I gotta go catch
a plane.

Speaker 2 (02:55):
And my mother by herself, not in the best health.
It's crazy.

Speaker 1 (03:00):
Broad checks yourself out, stops by her apartment, grabs like
three things, has a friend driver, gets on the plane.

Speaker 2 (03:12):
She's here.

Speaker 1 (03:14):
Diane is the unstoppable, She's the juggernaut. Now she's supposed
to head out over the weekend on Saturday, but now
we've got the possibility of snow coming, so.

Speaker 2 (03:24):
I don't know what's gonna happen.

Speaker 1 (03:26):
You had the Secretary of Transportation, his name is Sean Duppy, saying, oh,
it's gonna be a busy, busy travel week.

Speaker 2 (03:39):
Big number in regard to air travel.

Speaker 4 (03:42):
This is going to be the busiest Thanksgiving that we
have on record. And I think you all might note
that it seems like every Thanksgiving, every Christmas, every Fourth
of July seems to be an announcement of record travel.
I'm gonna come to that in a second. But this
week there'll be thirty one million passengers flying by air
As we look to the week that's part of the

(04:05):
airline industry, Tomorrow will be the busiest day. There'll be
fifty two thousand flights tomorrow as Americans board aircraft fly
across the country. Maybe they're going to go to sporting events,
they're going on vacation, or hopefully they're going to spend
time with their families. Now we anticipate there's going to
be solid staffing in our towers and traycons and centers

(04:27):
throughout the airspace. And that's different than what we had
over the shutdown.

Speaker 2 (04:32):
But we do have some.

Speaker 4 (04:33):
Weather in the forecast, and not a weatherman, but if
you look out to the Seattle area in the Midwest,
the Great Lakes, we are going to have some weather.
And so if you are traveling by air, I would
just ask that you stay in touch with your airline.

Speaker 2 (04:48):
I would ask that you'd be normal.

Speaker 1 (04:51):
Now I already know that I'm going to be fifty
to fifty resetting a flight and she'll leave a couple
of days later. But everybody's going to be in a
heightened level of crazy. My advice, don't be.

Speaker 2 (05:06):
And that's and that's what all this is.

Speaker 1 (05:09):
Isn't it going to be crazy enough as you're trying
to get your Black Friday deals before it's too late.

Speaker 2 (05:13):
At least you don't have to go out and engage.

Speaker 1 (05:16):
Door busting anymore because people don't really do that, although
they still do go out And I am a big
believer in small business Saturday.

Speaker 2 (05:23):
And that brings us to part two. Holy cow, map Air,
are you listening?

Speaker 3 (05:28):
Yeah, I'm here.

Speaker 1 (05:29):
I met Haley yesterday. I know what you're saying. Matt, Hey, Tony,
who's Haley?

Speaker 4 (05:37):
Yeah?

Speaker 2 (05:39):
Over there?

Speaker 1 (05:40):
On the Facebook marketplace, which we do every day, at
seven thirty five, we shared a story about some goldfish
cracker earrings.

Speaker 2 (05:48):
Do you remember, map Air?

Speaker 3 (05:49):
Yeah, they were edible almost they were not edible.

Speaker 1 (05:52):
Oh okay, now they look like goldfish crackers and I said,
those are cool. And they had sugar cookie earrings, chocolate
chip earrings. We reached out to the manufacturer.

Speaker 2 (06:05):
Woman by the name of Haley Young Mom.

Speaker 1 (06:08):
Good good person. Interesting in how she got into this,
who's her whole life? Born here, raised here. And I said,
I'm going to order some. We're going to sell them
at PA Jewelers in Brownsburg. And so I met with
her yesterday at PA Jewelers told us the story showed
us everything. So right there at PA Jewelers you can

(06:31):
get the Haley Maid, the Haley designs as featured here
on ninety three point one of MWIBC ear rings.

Speaker 2 (06:39):
They are in stock and ready to go. Matt Pars
that's very cool.

Speaker 3 (06:42):
And these are here and crafted like right here in Indiana.
That's what makes it so.

Speaker 1 (06:46):
Much hand crafted. The posts are are surgical stainless steel. Wow, right,
exactly what you want, so easy in and and no issues,
no anything else.

Speaker 2 (06:56):
She makes them all by hand. Okay, So there's sprinkles
on the sugar cookie. She makes the sprinkles.

Speaker 3 (07:02):
So it's basically food and she kind of does it
up and it's not really food.

Speaker 2 (07:07):
Well, oh okay, it's made to look like food.

Speaker 3 (07:10):
Does it smell like food?

Speaker 2 (07:12):
No, it's on a scratch and sniff. It's an ear ring, damn.

Speaker 3 (07:15):
Okay, So it's just something you wear in your ear
essentially right. If I had Piercedeers, I would take design
and put.

Speaker 2 (07:20):
In my ear right.

Speaker 3 (07:21):
Okay, cool, awesome, handcrafted Indiana and locally owned. You can
do that Christmas holiday gift correct for the one you love.

Speaker 2 (07:31):
That's absolutely right.

Speaker 1 (07:32):
So Haley's Designs will be at pa Jewelers in Brownsburg.
I don't know if they're out today, but they'll definitely
be out for Black Friday and they'll definitely be out
for small business Saturday.

Speaker 2 (07:44):
So even with the weather bad, you get out there.

Speaker 1 (07:49):
You shop local because if we have to do small
business Monday or Tuesday Wednesday, we'll do it. Shop local
wherever you can. But be aware of what's going on
travel wise. It's it's super important that.

Speaker 2 (08:01):
You don't You don't lose your mind.

Speaker 1 (08:03):
You have you know, realistic expectations of what's going on.

Speaker 2 (08:08):
Don't freak, don't be screaming at people. Don't do it.
There's no point.

Speaker 1 (08:16):
It's not gonna help understand what's coming. Understand what's happening,
and have a plan.

Speaker 2 (08:21):
B in rock and roll. That's it.

Speaker 1 (08:25):
Oh, and then stop by Pah Jewelers and get the
Hailey Designs earrings and stop by every sponsor of w I,
b C and UH and that's where you shop. You
shop the WIBC sponsors to the best of your ability.

Speaker 2 (08:39):
That's what you do. I've said too much.

Are You A Charlotte?

Are You A Charlotte?

In 1997, actress Kristin Davis’ life was forever changed when she took on the role of Charlotte York in Sex and the City. As we watched Carrie, Samantha, Miranda and Charlotte navigate relationships in NYC, the show helped push once unacceptable conversation topics out of the shadows and altered the narrative around women and sex. We all saw ourselves in them as they searched for fulfillment in life, sex and friendships. Now, Kristin Davis wants to connect with you, the fans, and share untold stories and all the behind the scenes. Together, with Kristin and special guests, what will begin with Sex and the City will evolve into talks about themes that are still so relevant today. "Are you a Charlotte?" is much more than just rewatching this beloved show, it brings the past and the present together as we talk with heart, humor and of course some optimism.
