Nick Sercy is going to be amazing. That dude's got
stories for days. The popcorn moment. Let's go, let's go,
let's go, let's come. It's a story you need to
hear to believe. Then grab your popcorn because there is more,
uh you, I've got a two for I do have
(01:04):
a two for right here, should I do it.
Speaker 2 (01:08):
I've got time, I'm gonna do it. It's it's totally okay. Yeah,
there it is.
Speaker 3 (01:12):
Uh.
Speaker 1 (01:13):
First, Uh, just because you don't hear enough of people
calling Trump a dictator and a fascist? Can you believe
that this is still working? Can you believe that this
is I shouldn't say it's working. They're still doing it.
They're still talking like this as if somehow it is working.
(01:33):
This is Representative Dan Goldman, Democrat from New York, who
every time he speaks into a camera, he looks like
he's doing a hostage video.
Speaker 2 (01:41):
Oh good lord. Well, I'll let it speak for itself.
Speaker 4 (01:48):
Because the militarization of our cities and our domestic law
enforcement violates the posse comentatis law and violates everything that
we believe in an Americans. But just as I thought
there would be Republicans who would stand up for their
constituents and prevent them from losing healthcare, prevent them from
(02:09):
losing food benefits, prevent million billions of dollars of offshore
wind investment in their own districts. I thought they would
stand up for their own districts, and they didn't.
Speaker 1 (02:22):
A couple of things. Nobody cares about offshore wind investments. Secondly,
nobody has lost food if you don't allow junk food
to be a snap benefit or a food stamp benefit,
that's okay. What was the argument, my kid doesn't deserve
a popsicle? What do you want from me? It's the
public money, and maybe it shouldn't be popsicles. How dare
(02:44):
you now say you're not giving me enough? But most importantly,
this is the again another Democrat saying we do not
want safe streets. Trump engaging federalizing in D is because
the problems in DC where a lot of other people
who live in blue states would love it if their
(03:04):
red state governors would do the same, actually try and
fix something.
Speaker 2 (03:11):
That's what we're seeing. And yet you have these people.
Speaker 1 (03:14):
Who are so desperate to appease their base because they're
so afraid of their base, which we know to be true,
that they're like.
Speaker 2 (03:21):
Oh, Trump, is this is terrible? This able? No Republican
will stand up. Why would anybody stand up? What Republican
is supposed to stand up for the protection of DC?
Quote unquote when DC doesn't elect any Republicans. What is
this argument here?
Speaker 1 (03:38):
Democrats run that city top to bottom and the city
is terrible, and right now the people are applauding the
opportunity to make it better.
Speaker 4 (03:47):
So I have zero faith in the Republican Congress right now,
and that's what we need to be talking about, because
Donald Trump clearly is both distracting from Jeffrey Epstein but
all so following his worst instincts aggressively now and without
(04:08):
any measure of guardrails.
Speaker 2 (04:11):
For guardrails, what guardrails.
Speaker 1 (04:13):
He's the President of the United States, he got elected,
he has the power to engage this federalizing. He did it.
It's all about Jeffrey Epstein. It's all distractions from EPs scene.
I want the Ebstein files. I don't think that the
people of DC, or the people of any city, where
they see the murder, see the robbery.
Speaker 2 (04:29):
See the violence, I don't think they think it's a distraction.
I think they think, my God, finally someone's paying attention.
Speaker 4 (04:35):
Generally come from Congress. Republicans control Congress. So right now
the question is, are Republican members of Congress going not
only to roll over to Donald Trump's will, but to
roll over our democracy and allow.
Speaker 2 (04:52):
Him to take over.
Speaker 4 (04:54):
This country as a fascist dictate.
Speaker 1 (04:58):
It's always the same garbage these people, These people, the
same talking points, the same nonsense, the same ridiculousness. They
don't stop, they don't rest, they don't quit, and they're
only speaking to themselves. Everybody knows that there's a problem there,
just like we know there's a problem in Indianapolis. Yet
if you listen to people like Chuck Schumer, they'll tell
(05:23):
you that everything in DC is just fine.
Speaker 2 (05:26):
Tee.
Speaker 3 (05:27):
But first, a lot of folks on the Republican side,
your a Republican colleagues say that they are very scared
to walk outside in DC. That they think this is
completely the right thing to do. Senator, Are you scared
walking around Washington, DC?
Speaker 2 (05:39):
These days? I walk around all the time.
Speaker 5 (05:41):
I wake up early in the morning sometimes and take
a nice walk is the sun is rising around some
of the capital and the other monuments and things, and
I feel perfectly safe. They're full of it. Look here's
they're full of it. You feel safe walking around Indianapolis. No,
(06:02):
I've walked around Indianapolis, am I say? And do I
feel safe? Not necessarily?
Speaker 3 (06:06):
Am?
Speaker 1 (06:06):
I aware of everything around me? Absolutely, they're full of it.
This is Chuck Schumer telling the people of DC, you're
full of it. Well, if I had as many on
guards as the Senate Minority leader, maybe I think they're.
Speaker 2 (06:19):
Full of it too.
Speaker 1 (06:22):
Completely disconnected from reality, disconnected from where people.
Speaker 2 (06:28):
Live and breathe.
Speaker 1 (06:30):
And there's another great example of this that comes from
CNN and Jillian Michaels, you know, the Biggest Loser chick.
Speaker 2 (06:39):
She's been incredible and she is not a conservative.
Speaker 1 (06:43):
She just wants to be heard and progressive say nope, nope,
you can't have that. I will share that with you
Antoni Katch today. That one is unbelievable, Chuck Schumer, a
great encapsulation of why progresses and Democrats are so disconnected
from the American people and it's why they'll continue to lose.
Speaker 2 (07:05):
Can't even admit there's a problem on the streets of DC.
Speaker 1 (07:08):
And in Indianapolis, we can't even get the homeless encampment
cleaned up when we were promised it would happen. Is
there anything else that Joe hog Set can't do for
our city? Because that list is getting really, really, really long.
