Podcast Episode 004: Dreams

Hello, my name is Nicholas. I am a 39-year-old man and I have a disability called Autism.
I am making this podcast because, I would like to talk about a topic that might have crossed every one’s mind once in a while or at least one time in their lives.

On this episode, we talk about dreams.

I’ve been wanting to become as a writer and novelist and have a writing and novel writing career and business full-time and I’ve also been wanting to become as a celebrity gaining fame and fortune because of my writing works while I’ve been doing writing,

it’s part of my dream,

and I have two dreams about two of my writing projects in both the past and present.

The first dream that I’ve been dreaming while I wrote my first novel The Mysterious Coat was to get the book published, see if it being on sale at bookshops and other shops and also, online and become as a best seller by being on the best-selling novels list in Australia and overseas,

tour Australia and the world to promote the book with book signing and media appearances, see if the book become as a movie, TV- movie or mini-series by being as an Australian film, TV-movie or mini-series and also see if Sophie Monk play as one of the novel’s characters, Angelique in a big or small screen adaptation which would be her first Australian film or television acting role.

The reality is that my first novel got published and there’s not many copies available in some bookshops who picked up the same copies,

they’re have a lack of support from a book publisher, Sid Harta Publishers who published the book and publicity which some media outlets did little coverage on it,

I have royalty problems with my mum while both of us and my sister were running our business about the book,

none of Australian film and television production companies, directors and producers picked up the book and bought the screen rights by to make a big or small screen adaptation of it and Sophie have other commitments with her showbiz career, it’s a failure.

The second dream that I’ve also been dreaming while I was also writing my film script The Vamps and done four drafts is to see my film script become as a movie as part of my mission to save the Australian film industry and for the script,

I made a dream cast selection and here’s mine:

If I could get each Hemsworth brother, Chris or Liam, Sophie Monk and Melissa Tkautz in my full just name a few, that’s would be a dream come true.

I’ve been sending the plot synopsis and/or the script [hard copy/Microsoft Word] to every Australian film production company, director and producer in person or by mail, email and Facebook about if they’re interested in to make The Vamps by give it a green light and turn it into a feature film but they’re rejected it

and I’ve been asking my mum or sister about going to apply for each screenwriting workshop from Australian Writer’s Guild or any film and television organisation and suddenly, they’re turned it down and told me that my script become as a movie is not going to be happened and it’s unrealistic.

We realised that another one of my dreams didn’t become real, another failure.

But I can hold my head high that I did try, I did chase that dream and I did give my own to which I am very proud of myself.

For my passions and interests, I’ve been dreaming about a Bardot reunion because I’m a fan of the group first and then, one of its members, Sophie Monk

and in 2018, I made a poster of the band’s reunion tour with a 20th anniversary of their formation by the year 2020 in
