Podcast Episode 005: Escape to the Fantasy World
Hello, my name is Nicholas. I am a 38-year-old man and I have a disability called Autism.
I am making this podcast because, I would like to talk about a topic that might have crossed every one’s mind once in a while or at least one time in their lives.
On this episode, we talk about escape to the fantasy world.
I’ve been wanting to escape to the fantasy world because I have not been happy with living in the real world and I’ve been hurt with my personal problems. This includes bullying and teasing.
When I’ve been reading books and watching movies and television, I have so many fantasy worlds for me to live in. When I was young, there were selected fantasy worlds for me to choose as an escape.
Start begin with movies, Wonderland from Alice In Wonderland, being as a 1951 Disney animated movie or a 1985 television mini-series remake which both the same Lewis Carroll story and a sequel, Alice Looking Thru Glass joined together in the same whole TV mini-series because I’ve been totally addicted to it and I’ve also been imaging that I enjoyed hanging out at The Mad Hatter’s Tea Party with The Mad Hatter; any Peter Pan movie, whether could it be Disney’s 1953 animated movie; or Steven Spielberg’s 1991 take with Hook because I want to go to Neverland and meet the mermaids at Mermaid Lagoon; 101 Dalmatians with both the original animated series and live-action remake plus its live-action sequel, 102 Dalmatians… I don’t like Cruella Deville; Mary Poppins so you have to jump into the drawings on the footpath and you see the drawings come to life in an animated world that have got a café run by penguins as waiters, a merry go round, a fox hunting and a horse racing competition; a jungle from Disney’s The Jungle Book 1967 animated movie; Ginger Meggs, a 1982 Australian movie which it’s based off an iconic comic strip and it had got Garry McDonald who played as Ginger’s father… I’ll go and fights against Tiger Kelly and tell him to leave Ginger alone; Toontown from Who Framed Roger Rabbit; every Batman movie which come from Tim Burton, Joel Schumacher, Christopher Nolan and Matt Reeves plus Cat Woman, two Suicide Squad movies, Suicide Squad and The Suicide Squad, Joker and its sequel Joker: Folie a Deux, Birds of Prey (And the Fantabulous Emancipation of One Harley Quinn) and Batgirl. But there are many Batman-themed movies were in development or in production and it’s been yet to be released, because I’m going to be as a spy when Batman hires me to spy on and fights against the villains. The sea from Disney’s The Little Mermaid 1989 original animated movie so this original animated movie is better than Disney’s part-live action, part-animated film remake; Pretty Woman because I’ve been dreaming and thinking about Julia Roberts’ character, Vivian Ward with a blonde wig; a town from Disney’s Beauty and the Beast 1991 original animated movie, an Arabic city from Disney’s Aladdin 1992 original animated movie; Pride Rock from Disney’s The Lion King 1994 original animated movie; A Midsummer’s Night Dream which it was the late-19th century and early 20th century setting version; Moulin Rouge which it was the 2001 Baz Luhrmann musical film one; Josie and the Pussycats which it was a live-action movie; four Sophie Monk’s Hollywood movies Date Movie, Sex and Death 101, The Hills Run Red and Hard Breakers; and Cruella which it’s a prequel of 101 Dalmatians while being as a live-action movie.
