De plek, de manier waarop de mannen zijn gevonden, het uiterlijk van de mannen en de onduidelijkheid over de doodsoorzaak maken dat er volop gespeculeerd wordt. „Misschien gaat het wel een twee mannen die in een drugslab en is er in dat lab iets misgegaan", vertelt Erwin. Dat zou volgens hem kunnen verklaren waarom er geen geweldssporen zijn gevonden op de lichamen.
