With harvest in full swing, Tyne and Clinton welcome agronomic expert Ken Ferrie, who they dub The Wizard of Yield and The Crop King. He explains what he’s seeing in the fields of Illinois, where forecasts call for record-breaking corn and soybean yields despite late-summer drought and the largest infestation of corn aphids that he’s dealt with in his career. But while so far the harvest has gone well, he cautions farmers that lack of rainy-day interruptions can threaten their safety.
Unscripted is a show where scripts take a back seat. Hosts Tyne Morgan and Clinton Griffiths put down the teleprompters and let the conversations flow naturally. Each week, they bring in fellow Farm Journal hosts and editors and friends to share behind-the-scenes insights on the stories we've covered, giving you a chance to meet the personalities behind the personalities.
