All right, All of the critics are out on James
Franklin after they lost to Oregon, and they were talking
about his big game winning percentage. And it is not
good because Penn State has won at least ten games
and six of James Franklin's twelve seasons with just one
season under five hundred. That was twenty twenty six bowl games,

college football playoffs.
Speaker 2 (01:32):
You already know that.
Speaker 3 (01:33):
But against AP top ten teams, he is four and
twenty six for his career. That includes Vanderbilt and Penn State.
That includes a one in eighteen record against top five teams,
and he is seventeen and thirty six overall against AP
top twenty five ranked teams in general. James Franklin had
a lot to say after the game, and he did

take a lot of accountability. Let's hear some of what
he had to say at the podium.

Oh okay, I guess we're not going to hear it. No,
my bad.
Speaker 3 (02:05):
All right, Well, Franklin got up there and he was
very much taking accountability and he said how he you know,
he accepts the fact of what he hasn't done in
the big games and that they have to start winning
those games. But the question is was Saturday's result surprising
or is it time to completely dismiss this program in
big games under James frank It's been time.
Speaker 1 (02:24):
We've never believed in James Franklin or Penn State anytime
that they want to go play in a big game.
I thought maybe they had a chance to overcome this
narrative in the College Football Playoff last year, except there
was that little thing in the back of your mind.
It was against Boise State, and Boise State isn't exactly
a pe a truth.
Speaker 2 (02:44):
It's not about signature wins. It's not Bama's not.
Speaker 1 (02:47):
Yeah, I'm sorry for throwing shade broncos it is what
it is. And then what did Penn State do after
they moved on from Boise State? They laid an egg
and Drew Aller became the quarterback that you don't trust,
specifically you Wes Bryant and everybody else. What is Penn
State done outside of the win against Boise State to
show you that their team that you can trust, Because
that's an answer I just don't have for it.
Speaker 3 (03:08):
Yeah, I think that, man, Penn State's got to start
looking at some of their options, especially depending on how
this season finishes, because it keeps being the same story
over and over again, and people consider I know, yeah,
one of their colors is Navy blue, but also Penn
State is a blue blood of the sport and they
want to be up there with the Michigans, and they
want to be up there with the Ohio States, who

they still have trouble beating as well. When you look
at their schedule down the stretch, that loss definitely hurt them,
but they've got some more opportunities to make up for it.
But at this point, how much confidence do you have?
Because I feel like at Ohio State November first, that's
a nail. I don't see them getting that one done.
Now Indiana, they're playing excellent football right now, but that

seems like the type of team that Penn State picks on,
a new kind of Johnny Come Lately, top twenty five
team from the Big Ten or somewhere else that they
play and they will dominate them. But as far the
teams that are as pedigreed as they are, they don't
get the job done. So yeah, I think that James
Franklin and Penn State they're gonna have to look at
some options because it's just not working out for them

to get to the point that they want to get to.
Because Penn State fans, let me know, how much confidence
do you have?
Speaker 2 (04:16):
And then when they get to.
Speaker 3 (04:17):
The playoffs, if they can't beat some of the big dogs.
Also speaking about teams that are struggling, app State they
lose forty seven to fourteen to Boise State. They failed
a two and two overall, zero and two in road
games this season, and app is oher and two all
time against Boise State with both games occurring in Boise

and app State. They just can't stop turning the football over.
They lost the turnover battle for the third straight game.
Four turnovers they had to zero for Boise State. So
when we look at this team now, I think that
I'm gonna consider it a bump in the road just
because this is DW. Logins's first season, But right now
(04:59):
app State is not on a good trajectory. Too many turnovers,
just too much nonsense, and most of all, too many ales.

This would be something if app State would have a
couple of years in a row where they just could
not have monster winning records, and that would be now
starting to lose your reputation a little bit. Here's their
records each of the last four years, six and six,
nine and five, five and six, two and two. Do
you expect a five hundred record for app State Mountaineers fans,

they're not patient. They're going to move on and it's
not going to take all that much for them to
move on. I remember when Scott Saderfield was struggling at
the very beginning of his tenure and they were ready
to get him fired immediately. Luckily for them, they held
on to him and he was able to salvage a
pretty nice tenure with the Mountaineers. But I just Dal Loggins,
he's not going to get fired at the end of
the season. They won't do that in year one. But

just from a reputation standpoint, app State, depending on what
no matter what level they were playing, they were considered
a juggernut. And now app State, I don't know if
you've them with that same type of reverence, going only
above five hundred in a meaningful way once in maybe
the last four years. After this year is concluded.

Yeah, and so for app State they're going to have
to try and find some manches. But again he's got
a little bit of time. So moving on the Duke
Blue Devils, they absolutely crushed Syracuse on the road thirty
eight to three.
Speaker 2 (06:21):
Now Syracuse was without.
Speaker 3 (06:23):
Steven Jelly, and we've talked about how the Duke Blue
Devils have been struggling to find a running game.
Speaker 2 (06:29):
Nate Sheppard though he could be the answer.
Speaker 3 (06:32):
He got a career high one hundred and sixty eight
rushing yards, the fourth most by duke freshman in program history.
He had two touchdowns as well. He ended the game
the team did with a eleven point two yards per rush,
or excuse me, he did ended the game with eleven
point two yards per rush, the most by duke freshman
in a single game on a minimum of fifteen rush attempts.

And he also ended the game with two hundred and
one all purpose yards. So the fo Devil's now found
the missing piece in their running game in Nate Shepherd.
I say, yes, this young man ran with authority. I
checked that game out and he has the speed, the authority,
the playmaking ability. Now I would like to see how
this duke offense cooks with him in the mix.

Yeah, Nate Shepherd, one hundred and sixty eight yards will
do it. Within eleven point two yards per carry, That'll
be just fine, especially with some of the stuff that
he was showing at the beginning of the year. Also,
like there's not really yards per carry that he had
that was all that under five four point eight against Illinois,
four point four against NC State. So that's the worst
one on decent volume, but this is the guy for me,

and now you're talking about a backfield that is dangerous
with Mensa and Shepherd in the backfield for the Blue Devils,
it's why they're.

With some of the struggles they had early on, I
think it could have gone either way. Either you felt
like careless turnovers was what they were going to do
by nature, or they were going to immediately fix it
because that's just what it was. They were careless. This time,
they're they're not careless anymore. They've really fixed that issue.
I'm not sure if you can say they've one hundred
percent fixed it, but it doesn't seem to be as

bad as it was early on. And now if you
can get rid of the turnovers with some dynamism at
quarterback and at running back, it's why they're going to
be a team that has yet another good season under
Many Diaz taken over from Mike.

And Darian Mensa was dazzling once again two hundred and
sixty eight yards two touchdowns. He was twenty two of
twenty eight on the game and also played turnover free
for the second consecutive game. Darian Mensa is number three
in the NCAA and passing yards and he's got thirteen
touchdown passes to just two interceptions.

Power poll to man some power polls I've been contemplating,
is Darien Mensa the best quarterback in the ACC?

Stat's might tell you that CJ. Bailey had a loss.

He's also had some key turnovers in each of the
last two losses. So my guy stock certainly not up.
I would be buying it, but that's because the stock
has gone down. It's a little cheaper. Even if I
still would be buying the CJ. Bailey stock, I think
Darian Mensa probably is that guy. If Angelly is gone
with some of the crazy numbers that he was throwing,
I don't know if you could put Angelly there. I

don't know if you'll put Carson Beck because of some
of the less gaudy numbers despite being with an awesome
team down in Miami. I know what Chandler Morris did
was great with Virginia, but also he's turning the ball
over a decent amount that might come to bite them
against one of these teams that they're going to be
a favorite against. Mensa to me, after this pass game,
I think probably would be the top quarterback.

Yeah, Carson Beck has been playing really good football.

The game against Florida, he wasn't great, And that's one
of those games raining muggy just playing up against a
Florida defense that's way ahead of their offense. And so
it was just one of those ugly rivalry games. We'll
see tomorrow how the quarterback power pole comes out. But

this roster set up for what will be the next
coach of The Carolina, Panthers AND i say that looking
at it in these, terms all, Right so you look
at this roster and you feel like that can another
off season fix? It maybe because we do know THE
nfl is a year to, year week to week, league
so maybe you could get the right mix of guys

next year and have a better go at. It BECAUSE
i don't think That Dave canals will be fired after this,
season no matter what it turns out to look. LIKE
i feel like that IF i would have put my
money down on, IT i feel like that he's gonna be.
Okay but, HOWEVER i feel like that as long as
it may, take and we've seen a lot of quick
fixes in THE, nfl BUT i feel like that the

way this roster is, constructed it may take another couple
of off seasons to get this thing, done AND i
don't know that he survives. That and, so in the
spirit putting it that, way do you feel like that
this roster's set up for the next coach of The
Carolina panthers or do you feel like that they could
possibly find their way out of.

THIS i think, YEAH i think everything needs. FIXING i
Think Dan morgan needs to acquire more talent through the
draft and free. Agency if they were to Fire Dave, Canalis,
NO i don't think you would expect this new coach
to come in with the roster as currently constructed and
have a goal for a postseason. BIRTH i don't think
that that would that's what the goal would. Be so
in that, way, NO i wouldn't think that you set

up your head coach or next head. Coach for all
that much, Success i'm wondering If Bryce young is going
to survive another head coach. Firing how many quarterbacks get
to experience it Was frank right it, first then he gets,
fired and then you Have Dave canalis that would be

Thomas brown OR i forget, it was It Chris. Taber my,
god there's been so many head. Coaches, yeah so, anyways

think there's a chance That bryce would survive another one

coach is going to have to come in with the

picks and to be able to just have my imprint on.
It it would have to be a guy that comes
in immediately and he's, like you, KNOW i Love Bryce,
YOUNG i THINK i can fix this. THING i THINK
i can get this thing, together much Like Dave canalis
did when he came and took this. Job you had
to be able to take the package deal of becoming

AN nfl head coach and, Saying, okay, YES i would
like to Take Bryce young. On BUT i don't think
a third coach would come in and necessarily want to do.
THAT i think they're probably gonna want their own, guy if,
anything just for a fresh start all the way. Around
and SO i think, that, yeah the guy that would
have the most impact on that happening would Be David
tepper because he could be, Like, okay, yeah he's not

a guy that wants to work With. Bryce he is
a guy that wants to work With. Bryce SO i
like him because of. That and so that's the thing
that you look at the first, offseason the main emphasis
was getting the offensive line correct and trying to get
some skill talent Around. Bryce then this past offseason they
did a little bit more of, that but it was
more so about getting the defense together on that side

of the, ball and it feels like that nothing is
really working like. That but it's, like do you feel
like another round of free agents in the draft can
get this thing back on track or do you think
this would take a little, Longer because if you were
to asked, ME i would, SAY i think that two
more off seasons is what it probably would take to

really get this thing on in the right, direction just
the way things are right. Now but what do you
think do you think an offseason could change?

Things, YEAH i think off seasons in THE nfl can
have a much more dramatic impact on your team than
it does in THE nba outside of signing like the one.
STAR i think because of all of the different players
at all the different positions that you can bring, in
you can turn things around pretty. Quickly it's still the
surprise nobody is pending money on The panthers making a.

Postseason but then we point to the usual examples of
watching what The Houston texans did when they DRAFTED. Cj
stroud and then watching What washington did when they Drafted Jye. Daniels,
yeah you have a quarterback that balled out on a
rookie scale, deal and you spent all of your other
money on other positions to help your guy. OUT i
do think you still use those things as examples as quick.

Turnarounds So carolina could do. It history in the last eight,
years the temper, era history has told us that they're
not going to do. It BUT i think you could
do it within just one more. Season they have enough
money to. Spend the way that they structured the, cap
they kicked some they didn't kick the can down the
road in terms of paying some of these. Guys they
(20:20):
have space to work with next. Season and SO i
think this past batch of free agents they brought in
with the draft, picks and then you add another. One
i'm hoping that the last two off seasons at that,
point this last one and then this upcoming. One so
two off, SEASONS i think that would be enough to
hopefully make some. Headway and if you don't do, it
then we're already pretty damn, Hopeless so you just even

feel more.

HOPEFULLY i think the thing is when you look at,
teams you got to start with your division as far
as what DO i need to be able to win the.
Division and if you look at the makeup of the
teams in THE Nfc, south you go To, tampa what
do they? Have multiple weapons at wide, Receiver they've got
skill talent all over the. Place you, know you go
and look At atlanta much of the same. Thing then
(21:03):
we'll see how these young defensive players turn, out getting
those twitchy pass rushers and some of that type of.
Stuff BUT i think at first you got to look
at the division and say do we have enough personnel
to be able to deal with the teams in our?
Division and if you want to start at the, top
and you, say, okay what is it going to take
to Be Tampa, Bay, well for, one you're gonna have
to have a hell of a pass rush because their
passing attack is no. Joke so you're gonna have to

be able to get after and bother, baker which starts
too with you being able to stop the.

Run so you're going to have.

To have at least a pretty dog on good defense
to be able to compete in this, division first and,
foremost because you've got too many teams that offer too many.
Weapons so then you, say all, right, well maybe if
we can't do all that in an off, season how
do we counter? That, well then you're going to have
to become multiple. Yourself so then do you focus this
offseason on going and getting weapons to make you more

dangerous on? Offense do you, say all, right we need a,
fast twitchy receiver and a slot that we can put
in that's going to create, Mismatches and then we need
this type of ganda, outside and we need this at tight,
end and we need this at running. Back and so
those are the. THINGS i think you have to start
with your division and what will help you win. It
and SO i think for The, panthers either you're going
to have to go out and get a really good
(22:12):
defense or you're going to have to go out and
get an offense that is dynamic to be able to.
Compete and so that's the thing you got to decide
this offseason do you want to go with? That BUT
i think the vision is where you start first and
foremost as far as looking at what you, Need.

Well you have your first round, pick that's good. News
what are you going to use it. On we've talked
a lot about left tackle If Ikey kwantu doesn't work,
out because that's important for whatever quarterback you have. Here
if it's Not, bryce then that quarterback is going to
need to be protected on his blind. Side if it Is,
bryce the same thing Because ikey's pass protection right now
it's just not very good and he's not solidified himself

as the franchise left. Tackle so if you draft a
player there and then you avoid defense, again that's going
to be pretty. Frustrating but, also what are you going
to do you still want your quarterback to be protected
here we are talking about a bad situation For. Bryce,
well one way to help that is by pouring in
resources on the offensive line to protect, him and the

defense might have to take a back seat. ESPECIALLY i
guess my other question is is it always going to
revolve like how much is it still going to revolve
Around bryce in the world that we live. In is
that just the very nature of the quarterback? POSITION i
could take. THAT i could take. THAT i don't know
if we talk about everything surrounds what they should do

with QUARTERBACK x with other teams like we have that
conversation With, BRYCE i don't think we frame conversations that
way with other franchises like we do In. CAROLINA i
just wonder when that framing, stops AND i don't know
if it's going to well just all like everything being all, about,
hey we got to Get bryce. Help we gotta Get bryce.
Help we got to figure out if he's going to

be the, guy which means we have to put requisite
talent around. Him when does that framing stop because we
don't have that surrounding all the quarterbacks in THE. Nfl
every quarterback needs help to some, degree we don't frame
it that.

WAY i think that it stops once you get the
guys that he, needs BECAUSE i do think that when
you look at, teams it is about what you put.
Around because what Was New england's off season. About it
was about putting the requisite talent Around Drake may you
look at you, know even you go with The Detroit
lions or looking at them putting all the talent that

they have Around Jared, Goff LIKE i, think no matter
what the team. Is now With, buffalo a little bit
was around the defense and getting the defense to be
able to maybe get the stops that you need for.
Them but for a while, too they were talking About
Josh allen needed weapons because they go out before and
they get, digs but then they go out you, know
they drafted and stuff like that that they've gotten and
they're trying to put the guys around. Him BUT i

think that you, know when you got that's just the
nature of the beast at, quarterback it's going to always
be about what do you put around said player and
how can you make them one of the best in
the sport with the surrounding talent that you.

Best but but we're talking about figuring out If bryce
is it when we, talk when we frame, it because

All right, All of the critics are out on James
Franklin after they lost to Oregon, and they were talking
about his big game winning percentage. And it is not
good because Penn State has won at least ten games
and six of James Franklin's twelve seasons with just one
season under five hundred. That was twenty twenty six bowl games,

college football playoffs.
Speaker 2 (01:32):
You already know that.
Speaker 3 (01:33):
But against AP top ten teams, he is four and
twenty six for his career. That includes Vanderbilt and Penn State.
That includes a one in eighteen record against top five teams,
and he is seventeen and thirty six overall against AP
top twenty five ranked teams in general. James Franklin had
a lot to say after the game, and he did

take a lot of accountability. Let's hear some of what
he had to say at the podium.

Oh okay, I guess we're not going to hear it. No,

All right, Well, Franklin got up there and he was
very much taking accountability and he said how he you know,
he accepts the fact of what he hasn't done in
the big games and that they have to start winning
those games. But the question is was Saturday's result surprising
or is it time to completely dismiss this program in
big games under James frank It's been time.

We've never believed in James Franklin or Penn State anytime
that they want to go play in a big game.
I thought maybe they had a chance to overcome this
narrative in the College Football Playoff last year, except there
was that little thing in the back of your mind.
It was against Boise State, and Boise State isn't exactly
a pe a truth.

It's not about signature wins. It's not Bama's not.
Speaker 1 (02:47):
Yeah, I'm sorry for throwing shade broncos it is what
it is. And then what did Penn State do after
they moved on from Boise State? They laid an egg
and Drew Aller became the quarterback that you don't trust,
specifically you Wes Bryant and everybody else. What is Penn
State done outside of the win against Boise State to
show you that their team that you can trust, Because
that's an answer I just don't have for it.

Yeah, I think that, man, Penn State's got to start
looking at some of their options, especially depending on how
this season finishes, because it keeps being the same story
over and over again, and people consider I know, yeah,
one of their colors is Navy blue, but also Penn
State is a blue blood of the sport and they
want to be up there with the Michigans, and they
want to be up there with the Ohio States, who

they still have trouble beating as well. When you look
at their schedule down the stretch, that loss definitely hurt them,
but they've got some more opportunities to make up for it.
But at this point, how much confidence do you have?
Because I feel like at Ohio State November first, that's
a nail. I don't see them getting that one done.
Now Indiana, they're playing excellent football right now, but that

seems like the type of team that Penn State picks on,
a new kind of Johnny Come Lately, top twenty five
team from the Big Ten or somewhere else that they
play and they will dominate them. But as far the
teams that are as pedigreed as they are, they don't
get the job done. So yeah, I think that James
Franklin and Penn State they're gonna have to look at
some options because it's just not working out for them

to get to the point that they want to get to.
Because Penn State fans, let me know, how much confidence
do you have?

And then when they get to.

The playoffs, if they can't beat some of the big dogs.
Also speaking about teams that are struggling, app State they
lose forty seven to fourteen to Boise State. They failed
a two and two overall, zero and two in road
games this season, and app is oher and two all
time against Boise State with both games occurring in Boise

and app State. They just can't stop turning the football over.
They lost the turnover battle for the third straight game.
Four turnovers they had to zero for Boise State. So
when we look at this team now, I think that
I'm gonna consider it a bump in the road just
because this is DW. Logins's first season, But right now
(04:59):
app State is not on a good trajectory. Too many turnovers,
just too much nonsense, and most of all, too many ales.

This would be something if app State would have a
couple of years in a row where they just could
not have monster winning records, and that would be now
starting to lose your reputation a little bit. Here's their
records each of the last four years, six and six,
nine and five, five and six, two and two. Do
you expect a five hundred record for app State Mountaineers fans,
(05:28):
they're not patient. They're going to move on and it's
not going to take all that much for them to
move on. I remember when Scott Saderfield was struggling at
the very beginning of his tenure and they were ready
to get him fired immediately. Luckily for them, they held
on to him and he was able to salvage a
pretty nice tenure with the Mountaineers. But I just Dal Loggins,
he's not going to get fired at the end of
the season. They won't do that in year one. But
(05:49):
just from a reputation standpoint, app State, depending on what
no matter what level they were playing, they were considered
a juggernut. And now app State, I don't know if
you've them with that same type of reverence, going only
above five hundred in a meaningful way once in maybe
the last four years. After this year is concluded.

Yeah, and so for app State they're going to have
to try and find some manches. But again he's got
a little bit of time. So moving on the Duke
Blue Devils, they absolutely crushed Syracuse on the road thirty
eight to three.
Speaker 2 (06:21):
Now Syracuse was without.
Speaker 3 (06:23):
Steven Jelly, and we've talked about how the Duke Blue
Devils have been struggling to find a running game.
Speaker 2 (06:29):
Nate Sheppard though he could be the answer.
Speaker 3 (06:32):
He got a career high one hundred and sixty eight
rushing yards, the fourth most by duke freshman in program history.
He had two touchdowns as well. He ended the game
the team did with a eleven point two yards per rush,
or excuse me, he did ended the game with eleven
point two yards per rush, the most by duke freshman
in a single game on a minimum of fifteen rush attempts.

And he also ended the game with two hundred and
one all purpose yards. So the fo Devil's now found
the missing piece in their running game in Nate Shepherd.
I say, yes, this young man ran with authority. I
checked that game out and he has the speed, the authority,
the playmaking ability. Now I would like to see how
this duke offense cooks with him in the mix.

Yeah, Nate Shepherd, one hundred and sixty eight yards will
do it. Within eleven point two yards per carry, That'll
be just fine, especially with some of the stuff that
he was showing at the beginning of the year. Also,
like there's not really yards per carry that he had
that was all that under five four point eight against Illinois,
four point four against NC State. So that's the worst
one on decent volume, but this is the guy for me,

and now you're talking about a backfield that is dangerous
with Mensa and Shepherd in the backfield for the Blue Devils,
it's why they're.

With some of the struggles they had early on, I
think it could have gone either way. Either you felt
like careless turnovers was what they were going to do

more so about getting the defense together on that side

like another round of free agents in the draft can
get this thing back on track or do you think
this would take a little, Longer because if you were

more off seasons is what it probably would take to

really get this thing on in the right, direction just
the way things are right. Now but what do you
think do you think an offseason could change?

Things, YEAH i think off seasons in THE nfl can
have a much more dramatic impact on your team than
it does in THE nba outside of signing like the one.
STAR i think because of all of the different players
at all the different positions that you can bring, in
you can turn things around pretty. Quickly it's still the
surprise nobody is pending money on The panthers making a.

Postseason but then we point to the usual examples of
watching what The Houston texans did when they DRAFTED. Cj
stroud and then watching What washington did when they Drafted Jye. Daniels,
yeah you have a quarterback that balled out on a
rookie scale, deal and you spent all of your other
money on other positions to help your guy. OUT i
do think you still use those things as examples as quick.

Turnarounds So carolina could do. It history in the last eight,
years the temper, era history has told us that they're
not going to do. It BUT i think you could
do it within just one more. Season they have enough
money to. Spend the way that they structured the, cap
they kicked some they didn't kick the can down the
road in terms of paying some of these. Guys they

have space to work with next. Season and SO i
think this past batch of free agents they brought in
with the draft, picks and then you add another. One
i'm hoping that the last two off seasons at that,
point this last one and then this upcoming. One so
two off, SEASONS i think that would be enough to
hopefully make some. Headway and if you don't do, it
then we're already pretty damn, Hopeless so you just even

teams you got to start with your division as far
as what DO i need to be able to win the.

skill talent all over the. Place you, know you go
and look At atlanta much of the same. Thing then

we'll see how these young defensive players turn, out getting
those twitchy pass rushers and some of that type of.
Stuff BUT i think at first you got to look
at the division and say do we have enough personnel
to be able to deal with the teams in our?
Division and if you want to start at the, top
and you, say, okay what is it going to take
to Be Tampa, Bay, well for, one you're gonna have
to have a hell of a pass rush because their
passing attack is no. Joke so you're gonna have to

be able to get after and bother, baker which starts
too with you being able to stop the.

To have at least a pretty dog on good defense
to be able to compete in this, division first and,
foremost because you've got too many teams that offer too many.

we can't do all that in an off, season how

to become multiple. Yourself so then do you focus this
offseason on going and getting weapons to make you more

dangerous on? Offense do you, say all, right we need a,
fast twitchy receiver and a slot that we can put
in that's going to create, Mismatches and then we need
this type of ganda, outside and we need this at tight,
end and we need this at running. Back and so
those are the. THINGS i think you have to start
with your division and what will help you win. It
and SO i think for The, panthers either you're going
to have to go out and get a really good

defense or you're going to have to go out and
get an offense that is dynamic to be able to.
Compete and so that's the thing you got to decide
this offseason do you want to go with? That BUT
i think the vision is where you start first and
foremost as far as looking at what you, Need.

Well you have your first round, pick that's good. News
what are you going to use it. On we've talked
a lot about left tackle If Ikey kwantu doesn't work,
out because that's important for whatever quarterback you have. Here
if it's Not, bryce then that quarterback is going to

bryce the same thing Because ikey's pass protection right now
it's just not very good and he's not solidified himself

as the franchise left. Tackle so if you draft a
player there and then you avoid defense, again that's going
to be pretty. Frustrating but, also what are you going
to do you still want your quarterback to be protected
here we are talking about a bad situation For. Bryce,
well one way to help that is by pouring in

defense might have to take a back seat. ESPECIALLY i

revolve like how much is it still going to revolve

with QUARTERBACK x with other teams like we have that
conversation With, BRYCE i don't think we frame conversations that
way with other franchises like we do In. CAROLINA i
just wonder when that framing, stops AND i don't know

Help we got to figure out if he's going to

be the, guy which means we have to put requisite
