Speaker 1 (00:00):
Let's get into it.

Speaker 2 (00:01):
Since I started off last week, you can start off
the top ten this week. This is Panthers Beals top ten,
Walcome Mail, number ten.

Speaker 1 (00:10):
Let's go. It's when it was hard.

Speaker 3 (00:13):
A little bit lower on my list than he usually is,
Taylor Moting at number ten.

Speaker 2 (00:18):
Okay, that tells you what a talent is in this game.
If he's number ten, Yeah, I've got him at number ten.
I don't think he's having as good of a year
as he's had in years past. I think the pass
blocking you're starting to allow a few more pressures here
and there. The run blocking is better. I never thought
much better. It is much better. The run block win
rate is much better.

Speaker 3 (00:37):
But also he's just he's not it's not crazy when
he allows a pressure anymore, and he used to be
pretty damn rare when he would allow a pressure.

Speaker 1 (00:45):
But even still good football player.

Speaker 3 (00:47):
I mean, I have him top ten in a game
where you have a team that is looking still to
contend for a Super Bowl and there are good players
to choose from on that Buffalo side, just a little
bit lower on my list, probably number ten for the
first I'm in a while on Walker Mail's list.

Speaker 1 (01:02):
So I'm going to start out with a guy.

Speaker 2 (01:03):
You're talking about making something interesting because fun fact, when
I got back from Charlottesville, when I went to use
the bathroom on the way to the shuttle, I saw
one Robert Hunt in the bathroom as well.

Speaker 1 (01:18):
Did you really? I did? He was there.

Speaker 2 (01:20):
He was getting back from a trip of some sort
as well.

Speaker 1 (01:23):
Well.

Speaker 3 (01:23):
This brings up a question we've asked multiple times, the
most famous person you've ever peed next to.

Speaker 1 (01:28):
Yeah, I don't think it's right. It would probably be
other things out there.

Speaker 2 (01:31):
Yeah, okay, because I've never been in there with anybody else.
But however, Brady Christensen is going to make things real
interesting when he comes back. And I know the money
and the cloud and all that will say that he
should get in there. But right now, it's not many
guards playing better than Brady Christensen. He's number two in
interior offensive line past block win rate, and he's number

(01:52):
seven an interior offensive line run block win rate. He
is playing at a high level, and he's one of
the reasons why this run game and this offensive line
has been playing as good as it is. So it
would be quite interesting that once Robert Hunt returns, did
they say, hey, manh Yeah, just chill out for a
little bit while Brady Christensen handles that right guard spot.

Speaker 1 (02:15):
Yeah.

Speaker 3 (02:15):
I think Brady Christensen has been playing very well, probably
one of the very close guys being on the outside
looking in. For me, okay, number nine for me, I
got t Mac. Team Mac has not been producing at
the level that he was earlier in the season, except
I think a lot of that is game script. A
lot of it is Tate t you said tape for

(02:38):
people getting on up. I see and I knew. I
know some people are thinking that. I don't see that
as much. In my opinion, I think it's more Rico
Daddle is going crazy. We're gonna give him the football
a ton. I think against Dallas he made people look
foolish and you saw him have a couple of touchdowns
because of making people look foolish, and also you're running
the football a ton with Rico Daddle against the Jets,

(03:00):
say well, team at got locked up, but sas Gonder
did it once, actually didn't guard him nearly as many times,
and the offense was not good against the Jets. Nobody
really eight if it wasn't Team Mac with Rico was
the only one and they ran it. Those guys got
over thirty carries between the two of them, So I
don't look at it as now people have really figured
out what to do with Team Mac. It's how Carolina

(03:22):
has been playing football. Rash Young didn't have a lot
of passing yards the last few games despite playing pretty
well offensively. I got Team AC at number nine. Well,
I've got him at number nine as well.

Speaker 2 (03:32):
He's twentieth overall in the league in receiving yards, he's
tied for fourth in the league and catches of twenty
yards and more, and he's tied for six and receiving
first down so that's a pretty dependable receiver. So yeah,
I've got him there. The Jets game, yeah, he did
have a tough time with some of those guys, didn't
have a great game overall. But yeah, I've got Tedoroa
at number nine.

Speaker 3 (03:53):
I think he's going to play, so I've got him
in here, but we're going to use our judgment. I
got Damian Lewis at number eight. Damian Lewis has been good.
I think you did see the impact when he was
out of this one and they had to move to
a different guard, and I think Damian Lewis coming back
in really helps you unleash the running game like you
did against Dallas and like you did against Miami. Dave
Canalis did say that he's working out and he's practicing,

(04:17):
So this is a judgment call. I think he's going
to play, so I'll include him in here. But I
got Damian Lewis number eight.

Speaker 2 (04:23):
Yeah, he's in mind, not right here at number eight,
but yeah, I'm assuming that he's going to play as well.
And so this guy has just gotten back from injury.

Speaker 1 (04:32):
And he's been hell on wheels.

Speaker 2 (04:34):
The only reason he's kind of low is because he's
only played in two games. But Ed Oliver is at
number eight for me. In two games, he's got two sacks,
five tackles for loss, seven.

Speaker 1 (04:44):
Stops, and nine pressures.

Speaker 2 (04:45):
So he has come back with good, fresh legs and
he has come back ready to raise hell.

Speaker 1 (04:50):
So these guards that we're.

Speaker 2 (04:51):
Talking about, they're going to have their hands full with
this guy on Sunday.

Speaker 3 (04:56):
Okay, who I have at number seven? This one was
kind of tough.

Speaker 1 (05:01):
Okay.

Speaker 3 (05:02):
I got Rico Dawdle still at number seven. I don't
think he improved all that much from last week. I
the dam at seven last week as well. He still
looks really good.

Speaker 1 (05:10):
Man.

Speaker 3 (05:10):
It's nothing against Rico, it's this is kind of more
so towards who are the players I think are better
from Buffalo side, And also who are the players I
think that Carolina can't do without more than Rico because
Tube is still a good football player, but Rico has
been performing at a really high level.

Speaker 1 (05:26):
I have Rico here, come in at.

Speaker 2 (05:28):
Number seven, number seven for me, I've got your guy,
Taylor molten Man number six in offensive tackle run block
win rate. He's PFF's eighteenth rateed tackle and he's twenty
third in past block and great. So yeah, a pass
blocking might have slipped a little bit, but I think
that him adding this run blocking powess to his game
has made him more well rounded. So I've got Taylor

(05:49):
Moten at number seven. Yeah, i have at Oliver at
number six. I've always been a huge fan of at Oliver.
I kind of a bias for me.

Speaker 1 (05:58):
One. I think it was.

Speaker 3 (05:59):
At Oliver at Houston when Tom Herman put a hand
on him and he didn't like that, and I liked
at Oliver saying, who do you think you're touching here?
And he's not a bad dude, right, So it's always,
oh he's a mouth content.

Speaker 2 (06:11):
No, put those coaches in their place, and they do
stupid stuff like that.

Speaker 3 (06:14):
Really, as soon as I saw that, okay, you're my guy,
straight up. He's also this weird Aaron Donald, very very
Aaron Donald light bow in that he's a smaller quote
unquote defensive tacky, but he's just cut the bleep up,
so really impactful. The last couple of games, I think,
rock solid, good pass rusher at Oliver comes into number six.

Speaker 1 (06:34):
Number six for me.

Speaker 2 (06:35):
I go Damian Lewis, who's number six in the interior
offensive line run black win rate, and he's Pro Football
focus is number eleven overall guard. I mean he I
was just thinking about as I put him in this
as well, I said, man, I said, I wonder if
when the Panthers signed those two guards, did they think
that he would be the better man at this juncture

(06:55):
in their careers, because he's been pretty good since the
time he stepped into that lineup.

Speaker 3 (07:00):
Deon Dawkins number five, excellent in pass protection, good enough
at run blocking, but he's just been very very good
for a long time. In fact, you know what's interesting
about these two tackles. Something that I haven't even paid
attention to quite yet during this week's matchup is I
believe Carolina wanted Dion Dawkins.

Speaker 1 (07:17):
But remember Brandon Bean goes up to.

Speaker 3 (07:19):
Buffalo, and I think there are a lot.

Speaker 1 (07:21):
Of rumors exchanging hands.

Speaker 3 (07:23):
You kind of know what the other person wants when
Brandon Bean first goes up to Buffalo. I think I
have this correct. And so with Panthers being linked to
Dion Dawkins so much, I believe it was a selection
or a couple selections before Carolina ends up selecting Timo
and they select Deon Dawkins and he was right there.
So if Dion was still on the board, maybe we
never have Taylor Moulton, and maybe I never have him

(07:44):
as a mainstay in my top ten, and maybe you don't,
maybe you don't have Icky Kwanu. A lot of things
could have changed because of that. Deon Dawkins rock solid.

Speaker 2 (07:53):
I got a number five, all right, number five for me, man,
just off what he's done in the last three games. I've
got Rico Daldo at number three. You know I respect
the running backs. Excuse me. At number five, he's got
five hundred and sixty nine scrimmage yards in the last
three games, and he's averaging six point seven yards per
carry in the last three games as well, So you know,
I had to do a little math break out the
calculator to get those nice little niche stats for you

(08:16):
of what he's done over the last two games.

Speaker 1 (08:18):
But very productive nonetheless, So.

Speaker 3 (08:21):
Coming in at number four for me got a double
check to make sure I got this correct because I
did make the last minute change my top five, so
I do have j C.

Speaker 1 (08:29):
Horn coming in at number four. You know what it is.

Speaker 3 (08:32):
The last game, he was excellent, even if it wasn't
his responsibility on the bad Tyrod Taylor throw. What he
did was he made them pay for a bad throw,
not by knocking the football down, but he had a
one handed interception. He ran the guy's route for him
on the outside. It was more of a bad decision
from Tyrod than it was a bad throw, but both
were true. JC still not allowing a ton of receptions.

(08:54):
When he does, it's not for a ton of yards.
I just don't know where this team would be without
j C. Horn if he wasn't playing. And Mike Jack
goes to the other side, who boy with this pass rush,
not a whole lot of help. Jase Horns number four,
Number four for me.

Speaker 2 (09:09):
I've got Dalton Kinkaid in there, and he is a
maybe because he may play him in because of that. Yeah, yeah,
he's eighth the Monk tight ends with three touchdowns. He's
second in yards per catch at fourteen point four eighth
and yards per catch after the reception, and he's first
in passer rating among tight ends when targeted. So I've

(09:30):
got Dauk Kinkaid. He may play in this game. He
may not, but I would think with the Bills, if
he's capable, with them being in a situation of not
wanting to take a third straight loss, he will probably
get out there and give it an.

Speaker 1 (09:43):
Old college try.

Speaker 3 (09:44):
I think will probably have the exact top three I
would think. So James Cook is number three for me.
He's been very good. Shout out to James Cook for
not being Dalvin Cook's brother. He's James Cook and he's
really good at football. The third right didn't need a third.
I'm not sure now you've gone too far from me.
All I know is that he's the brother. That's it.

(10:04):
That's where my familiar familial knowledge ends. For one, James Cook,
but one of the more efficient runners in the league.
Five yards per carry this year, almost five last year.
Five for his career. Just an extremely efficient runner. Also
had a ton of touchdowns last year. For you fantasy
footballers out there that were staying away from him, it's
because you thought of TD regression.

Speaker 1 (10:26):
Not a bad thought, except.

Speaker 3 (10:28):
Yeah, he's about to put up double digit touchdowns again.
And last one most successful runner in football success rate
on a per down basis number one on that list,
James Cook number three.

Speaker 2 (10:38):
James because is number three for me too, and I
add in the fact that he's fifth in for Smiths
tackle is a ninth.

Speaker 1 (10:43):
And explosive run.

Speaker 2 (10:44):
So he's a guy that you get him the rock,
He's going to make things happen.

Speaker 3 (10:48):
Who you gotta douce Derek Brown. I don't know what
else you say, Just a monster, hulk like strength. Brian
Baldinger is somewhere nodding approvingly out there in the ether
because his Derek Brown senses are tingling. Derek Brown is
the best defensive tackle in the league right now, and
that's why he's only surprising he's only number two on

(11:09):
this list. He's number one on a lot of lists,
but not in a game that features that QB over
there for Buffalo.

Speaker 1 (11:14):
Yep.

Speaker 2 (11:14):
I got Derek Brown at too as well. Top five,
and among the interior defensive linemen and stops, he's third
in sacks and number one and bat it passes. If
I'm not mistaken, I think he's second on the Panthers
or he leads them and pass breakup. So Dereck Brown
causing havoc whether he can get back there and take
the quarterback down, or that he can sack him as

(11:38):
well or bat the ball down. So all right, what
you're gonna throw out there for number one? Because I
think everybody knows who it is.

Speaker 3 (11:46):
Well, I think you're probably gonna have to bat the
ball down against the six' five sixty Six Josh allen
BECAUSE i don't know how much you're gonna be able
to one get to him to bring him. Down he
might escape some of those, tackles and if he doesn't
escape those tackles to throw the, football he might do
it to run it and pick up extra. Yards he's
THE mvp from last. YEAR i would have given THE

(12:07):
mvp To Lamar jackson last, year me, Too BUT i
also wasn't mad At Josh allen getting. It it truly
was one of the best Statistical it was one of
the best statistical seasons that we've ever seen from both. Guys,
Again lamar And josh truly had one of the best
seasons we've ever seen from A. Qb it just so
happened to be in the same exact. Season and, yeah

(12:28):
the turnovers were a problem a few years. Ago they
were pretty much eraced last, year starting to pick up
a little bit more this. Season but even, so, Man
Josh allen is a. Superhuman if there's A qb that
can win a game solely because of what he is
and doesn't have to have as much help around, him
he's the prototypical example of that type of.

Speaker 2 (12:48):
Quarterback it's why he's number. One, YEAH i got him
number one as. Well and despite being number fifteen in
game script according To Player, profiler he has second Internoble
worthy plays number nine and first down and he's fourteenth
in big time. Throws but this is a, Guy he's
a lemonade. Quarterback you. Know he doesn't have to have
household names all over the. Place as long as he's

(13:08):
got a capable. Group he doesn't you, know you can't
walk him out there with a bunch of used car.
Salesman but he is a guy that if you put
him out there with a capable, group he can make it.
Happen that's why he's a, superstar that's why he's AN,
mvp that's why he is all those. Things so to
recap my top, Ten Brady christensen at, Ten tetoroa at,
nine At oliver, Eight Taylor moten, Seven Damian lewis, Six

(13:32):
Rico dado, Five DAWKONKIN k, Four James cook, Three Derek brown,
two And Josh allen New moro.

Speaker 3 (13:39):
Know, Sorry temo number, TEN T mac number. Nine, man
why are my, guys like my favorite players are down
on this?

Speaker 1 (13:45):
List i'm.

Speaker 3 (13:45):
OBJECTIVE i Guess TEAM o, TEN T mac, Nine Damian lewis,
Eight Rico daddles, seven At oliver, Six Dion dawkins leads
us off in the top.

Speaker 1 (13:54):
Five J.

Speaker 3 (13:54):
C horn number, Four James cook, Three Derek brown, Two
Josh allen number.

Speaker 2 (13:58):
All, right, Man so this was a fun top, ten
but we're gonna see once they.

Speaker 1 (14:03):
Get out there and play these.

Speaker 2 (14:04):
Games, MAN i THINK i guess the ONLY o mission
people will point out for me maybe Jac. Horn it
is just so hard with him, because LIKE i, said
he did make some great plays lasts That, yeah but
just the advanced metrics for, HIM i told, YOU i
JUST i just go off that game though he had
a good grade.

Speaker 1 (14:20):
In that, game but overall this season once he like twenty.

Speaker 3 (14:22):
SOMETHING i guess the thing about THE jc stuff, is
but you feel watching.

Speaker 1 (14:27):
HIM i think.

Speaker 2 (14:29):
That he's a good, player BUT i also don't feel
like he gets tested as much because he hasn't gone
up against some of the very. Best what's the SCAL
i mean The jets receivers were you, know me and
you Essentially. Jags AND i thought those picks he had last,
week he got beat on that first play and he
it was a horrible.

Speaker 1 (14:49):
Throw he was he was passing them to the. Safety
we talked about.

Speaker 2 (14:52):
IT i didn't think THAT i got to look at
that again because it could have been covered one because
on the broadcast they said he got beat and it
looked like man covers to me. Too it could have
been covered, one or it could have been fifty, five
which could have been man. Too but either, way he
got beat and it was a bad.

Speaker 3 (15:05):
THROW i think the grades are really influencing how you PRAID. J. C.
Horn BUT i don't think because we never really talk
about it on the film what you.

Speaker 2 (15:14):
See BECAUSE i see plays where he's been. BEAT i
mean we can agree to that there are plays where
he gets. Beat if you're, if, YEAH i don't think
he's ever been. Perfect but to be honest with, you, man,
LIKE i don't you say, That AND i THINK i
agree with that just because nobody's, Perfect BUT i don't
happen in my brain make specific. Plays and then the second,
PICK i was just like any corner worth assault should

(15:34):
make that.

Speaker 1 (15:35):
Pick it was a low inside. Throw it was a
low inside, throw but the grade was great for that. Game,
NO i get, It that's WHAT i said it.

Speaker 2 (15:41):
Was But i'm just saying a second pick, LIKE i
don't put a ton of stock in that BECAUSE i
felt like it was a horrible.

Speaker 3 (15:46):
THROW i think my questions come from if we're putting
so much stock into the grades in previous games and
then in this game you're downplaying the. Plays but this
is the game where he got the not unreal but
really good.

Speaker 1 (15:58):
GRADE i think. That'sy, NO i think.

Speaker 2 (16:01):
He got a really good great because the receivers he
played against who would have? Receivers can you tell, me
BECAUSE i don't even remember.

Speaker 1 (16:06):
Them it was. Me there was No Garrett wilson out.

Speaker 2 (16:09):
There i'm just saying that WHEN i Watched, certain WHEN
i Watched certain go up against the best at the, best,
well he's great and he's down there with J. C
But i'm, saying but when you look at because remember
the one year that we went in on this AND
i put the numbers up When sartain played against the
best of the best guys and they had paultry numbers against,
HIM i just LIKE i, SAID i don't see what
everybody else or What panthers fans the n J c.

Speaker 3 (16:32):
Horn but that's my point With Pat sartan is his
grades are down as. WELL i think he would probably
be pretty high up on your, list but his grades
are also not.

Speaker 2 (16:38):
Great, well his grades are down this, year but we're
also talking about a Defensive player of The, year and
he's been one of the elite corners since he's been
in the.

Speaker 1 (16:44):
LEAGUE i, Know i'm with.

Speaker 3 (16:46):
YOU i THINK jc is that as well when he
plays and the health thing was a real, issue AND
i think last, YEAR i MEAN i can REMEMBER i
don't know the place THAT i remember him getting. Beat
Quentin johnson got him last. YEAR i can remember that
for a touchdown early in the, game y'all had a.
PICK i just think when usually WHEN i hear you
BRING jc, down it's a lot because of the. Grades

(17:06):
and we've had our conversations ABOUT pff grades being really
hard to use against defensive back specifically because you're trying
to quantify what doesn't happen and what should. Happen AND
i think that's really hard to do for a guy
that just doesn't give up a whole bunch of BAS.

Speaker 1 (17:20):
I, mean he was twenty, eighth he's twenty eighth right.
Now last. YEAR i know the.

Speaker 3 (17:25):
Grades it's that that's that's my, point, Right going back
to the grades is my point as to WHY i
think you unfairly BRING Jc horn out of the top.
Ten i'm surprised to see him out of the top,
ten especially.

Speaker 2 (17:37):
If he was, in because we have so many offensive
linemen that are playing well and they're playing against a better.
Team because remember we said last, week The jets with
slim pickings trying to pick.

Speaker 1 (17:46):
Anybody this is.

Speaker 3 (17:48):
The first time he's not been in the top. Ten
for you though after that. Game, Yeah, okay hey, MAN
i don't MAKE i can't make sense of.

Speaker 2 (17:56):
It but that's your top. Ten it's not my. Life
IT'S i don't want to go way. Over But i'm
just saying THAT i already told you HOW i felt
about the. Interception SO i, mean it was a good
game and he, played BUT i felt like he didn't
play against really good receivers and Playing, jags and he
made a couple of plays on some bad balls being.

Speaker 1 (18:13):
Respectful, yeah
