Walking the red carpet at The Logies (Aust TV Awards) for being on reality TV would be a huge highlight for some. It was this and a series of other events that lead Shay to the conclusion of "This is not who I am". A lot of celebrities have made comments like 'I wish everyone could have all the fame and money they want, to realise that it's not that great and it's not actually what you want". Shay had a taste of it, could have dived right into it, but she chose not to, because, it wasn't true to her. To her truth, her soul, her calling. She didn't even know what her truth was at that stage, all she knew was this this life of trying to be someone who she wasn't, was not for her. I love Shay, she is an amazing friend of mine who I have so much in common with and we have the best conversations. This podcast is for anyone who thinks they want the fame, the attention, the money and the red carpets. Shay’s insight to them may just help you see from a different perspective! Are You A Charlotte?
In 1997, actress Kristin Davis’ life was forever changed when she took on the role of Charlotte York in Sex and the City. As we watched Carrie, Samantha, Miranda and Charlotte navigate relationships in NYC, the show helped push once unacceptable conversation topics out of the shadows and altered the narrative around women and sex. We all saw ourselves in them as they searched for fulfillment in life, sex and friendships. Now, Kristin Davis wants to connect with you, the fans, and share untold stories and all the behind the scenes. Together, with Kristin and special guests, what will begin with Sex and the City will evolve into talks about themes that are still so relevant today. "Are you a Charlotte?" is much more than just rewatching this beloved show, it brings the past and the present together as we talk with heart, humor and of course some optimism.
