You would think that the health and wellness world is exempt from idiotic behaviour, it is after all about health and wellbeing. But nope, just like every other industry, this too has it's fair share of the dark and the light! My two core values are honesty and fairness, so basically dishonesty and inequality are a fabulous way to make my blood boil. There's this thing in the wellness world called "spiritual bypassing". It's where people use spiritual excuses to excuse bad behaviour, avoid tough conversations, avoid looking at their own behaviour and also avoid considering other people's perspectives. And it drives me mental! I'm a straight shooter, if I want to go somewhere the highway is my preference over the scenic route, and a lot of spiritual bypassing is done via the scenic route that is so off track that you get swept away in the spiritualness (made up word) of what someone is trying to say that you forget what your question was.
