It's Thursday, December eleventh, twenty twenty five. Number one. Nineteen
year old de John Darryl Fox, Junior, a Kentucky State
University student from Indianapolis, was identified as the victim killed
in Tuesday afternoon's campus shooting. Police say Fox was fatally

shot and another person critically injured after a physical altercation
led forty eight year old Jacob Bard to open fire.
Bard was taken into custody within minutes and is now
charged with murder and first degree assault. Number two. The
battle over the Affordable Care Act became a fight about
race and power, as critics of the nation's first black

president redirected their attacks toward his signature law. What began
as policy debate turned into a backlash against mister Obama himself.
Advocates like Daniel Dawes emphasized the ACA's impact, calling it
the most comprehensive minority health law in US history, with
dozens of provisions addressing inequities. Number three. Consumer Reports ranked

new purpose storytelling, founding Courtney Kelly Books to empower black
girls and other children of color to see themselves as innovators.

thirteen African American soldiers were executed near San Antonio for
their alleged roles in the Houston Riot, which began after
police brutally beat and arrested black civilians and soldiers. The
violence that followed left sixteen white people and four black
soldiers dead, leading to courts martial that convicted one hundred

and ten black servicemen, while no white civilians were tried
and two white officers were released. Nineteen black soldiers were
ultimately executed, including the thirteen that were hanged on that date,
