video showing a black woman in active labor as a
nurse focused on a computer instead of urgent care. She
explains that childbirth at this stage is a medical emergency

lack of intervention deeply alarming. What troubles her most is
that this neglect is not an isolated incident, but part
of a longstanding pattern in healthcare. Read more about it

a Thanksgiving through cyber Monday or cyber Tuesday boycott organized

by the group We Ain't Buying It, which aims to
pressure corporations aligned with President Trump's administration. Organizers say the
spending pause is meant to defend democracy, reclaim community power,
and push back against companies they believe abandoned core values.
The boycott comes as several corporations scale back diversity, equity

fifty and the Spotlight is on. Adam Clayton Powell Junior
born November twenty ninth, one hundred and seventeen years ago.
In nineteen oh eight, he gained fame as a powerful preacher,
civil rights activists, and New York's first black congressman. Raised
in Harlem, he was educated at Colgate and Columbia Universities
before emerging as a bold community leader during the Great Depression.

fiercely for fair housing, shaping both local and national civil
