Wrestling with submitting to authority is a very common issue for most men but especially in adolescence when we are trying to rebel in order to define our own personality in the breaking away from our parents' orbit. Honestly, it has been a lifelong struggle for me as it also represents a struggle with pride.
My guest for this episode is Chaplain Richmond E. Stoglin, a man of distinguished military service for 28 years in the United States Navy Reserve Chaplain Corps from November of 1985 to November of 2013. He attained the rank of Commander and was former Regimental Chaplain to the 14th Marines, the largest artillery command in the US Marine Corps. As a decorated veteran Chaplain Stoglin certainly has a keen understanding of the importance submitting to authority on many levels both professionally and spiritually.
