News-Leader sports reporter Wyatt Wheeler is back with a Wyatt's World Podcast episode after feeling under the weather for the last few weeks. In this week's episode, Wheeler reports from Missouri Valley Conference men's basketball media day in St. Louis.
In the episode, Wheeler attempts to hunt down the one person who voted Missouri State as the league's preseason favorite (it wasn't him). He talks to fellow Valley beat writers including Paul Oren (Valparaiso, The Victory Bell), Jeff Bidwell (Murray State play-by-play), Anthony Kristensen (Evansville, Courier Press) and Randy Reinhardt (Illinois State, The Pantagraph).
Wheeler also put together a useless sound montage full of cliches and the repetitive things coaches and players said at the Enterprise Center in St. Louis on Tuesday.
