If it's safe to do so, close your eyes or
lower your gaze. Relax your eyes, relax your ears, relax

your jaw, relax your shoulders down, and bring your attention
to your breath, drawing your breath down into your belly.

Working on something you love can be a bit like
starting a flywheel. Turning a huge metal disk weighing over
two thousand kilos takes an insurmountable amount of effort to turn.

The first rotation excruciatingly slow, brow sweating work to move
only mere centimeters, and so it continues until around the
fifth or sixth turn, when the wheel itself starts to

gain momentum. Rotating the wheel becomes a bit easier. At
some stage, there's a breakthrough where the flywheel wooshes forward,

its heavy weight now helping rather than hindering. Faster and
faster it goes with unstoppable momentum. To find the part
that started the momentum is almost impossible. It's an accumulation

of all the past effort. The hardest part was making
a start and sticking with it. Imagine if you quit
before the momentum kicked. In today's mantra, I keep on
