Good morning. I'm Jennifer Cray, host of your Morning Mantra.
In some situations, we may feel like victims, powerless to act.
Today's meditation is about taking responsibility for our part, inviting
in hope your morning Mantra. I take responsibility and welcome hope.

Let's begin.

Speaker 1 (00:51):
If it's safe to do so, close your eyes or
lower your gaze. Relax your eyes, relax your ears, relax
your jaw, relax your shoulders down, and bring your attention

(01:12):
to your breath, drawing your breath down into your belly.
When we allow ourselves to be the victim, we blame
others for what is happening to us, giving them power

(01:36):
and domination in our lives, leaving the situation to feel hopeless.

Speaker 2 (01:46):
And permanent. We become locked in frustration, powerless to move forward,
keeping the situation as it is and telling the same
story again and again. But is it the story that

we really want to tell? If instead, we have awareness
to our part in the story, and then we take
accountability and responsibility for this, then we have agency to
change the situation. We have hope. We can overcome the

victim mentality, grow wings, and become who we want to
be today's mantra, I take responsibility and welcome hope. Repeat
to yourself, either out loud or in your mind. I

take responsibility and welcome hope. Bringing your awareness back to
your breath, breathing in and out of your heart space.

May you be happy, may you be well, May you
be free from stress, worry, fear, and anxiety. And may
your whole life be truly blessed. Bringing your awareness back

to the space around you and slowly opening your eyes
