If it's safe to do so, close your eyes or
lower your gaze. Relax your eyes, relax your ears, relax

your jaw, relax your shoulders down, and bring your attention
to your breath, drawing your breath down into your heart.

When you come across something that lights you up, stokes
the embers and literally set your heart on fire, you
give birth to faith, a belief in the possibility of

something else, the thing that makes you feel deliciously alive
with passion and spoke. This moment eventually passes, and the

darkness of fear settles in all the reasons why you
won't get there, all the reasons you'll fail, all the
reasons you don't deserve it. Hope is the antidote, the light,

giving us agency to move through and push past the
fear with perseverance and consistency. The dark unknown of fear
subsides as it materializes the realization that fear only appears

to be enormous and unfathomable. Such is the power of imagination.

The Brothers Ortiz
