Forgiveness lightens the weight we carry. In a world quick to judge, today’s meditation invites you to soften — to release shame, hurt and anger, and to offer grace to yourself and others. In choosing forgiveness, you choose love, and the freedom that flows from it.

Your Morning Mantra: Forgiveness is love and freedom.

Jennifer Cray is a life coach, meditation teacher and yoga teacher for Living Lit Up, based in Brisbane. You can deepen your meditation practices with her on Insight Timer.

Speaker 1 (00:05):
Approache production. Good morning. I'm Jennifer Cray, host of your
morning mantra. We all make mistakes. Today's meditation is an
invitation to release hurting, shame, and anger, to choose forgiveness

(00:33):
for yourself and for others. Your mourning mantra forgiveness is
love and freedom. Let's begin, if it's safe to do so,

(00:54):
close your eyes or lower your gaze. Relax your eyes,
relax your ears, relax your jaw, relax your shoulders down,
and bring your attention to your breath, drawing your breath

(01:22):
down into your heart. When we mess up, we would
be wise to forgive ourselves quickly, to speak to ourselves kindly,
to allow ourselves grace, the benefit of the doubt. Think

(01:51):
of mistakes as teachers guiding us forward with wisdom from
a space of compassion, where we can soften so we
can learn, we grow, and when others mess up, offer

(02:18):
the same gift, the gift of grace, the gift of understanding,
the gift of seeing their humanity. Forgiveness is not excusing harm.

(02:38):
It is choosing love over resentment. It is choosing freedom
over shame, hurt, and anger. Today's mantra forgiveness is love
and freedom. Repeat to yourself, either out loud or in

(03:05):
your mind. Forgiveness is love and freedom. Bringing your awareness
back to your breath, breathing in and out of your
heart space. May you be happy, May you be well,

(03:37):
May you be free from stress, worry, fear, and anxiety.
And may your whole life be truly blessed. Bringing your
awareness back to the space around you and slowly opening

(03:58):
your eyes to increase selvi WL awareness and growth, I
invite you to listen to this evening's reflection. You can
