Speaker 1 (00:05):
Approche production. Good morning. I'm Jennifer Cray, host of your
morning mantra. Kindness is often seen as a gift we
give to others, but it is also a source of

(00:29):
strength for ourselves. Today's meditation invites us to see kindness
as a powerful act of courage. Your mourning mantra, my
kindness is my strength. Let's begin, if it's safe to

(00:57):
do so, close your eyes or lower your gaze. Relax
your eyes, relax your ears, relax your jaw, Relax your
shoulders down, and bring your attention to your breath. Breathing

(01:24):
into the heart space. Feel the warmth expanding with each inhale,
and letting the shoulders soften as you exhale. Kindness connects

(01:47):
us to our hearts, to our humanity. It dissolves walls
and brings comfort whether there is pain. Each time we

(02:10):
choose kindness, we show up with courage. We are open
and caring in a world that can be hard. To
keep our hearts open and compassion alive, we can be

(02:39):
the shining light for those around us. Today's mantra, my
kindness is my strength. Repeat to yourself, either out loud
or in your mind, my kindness is my strength, bringing

(03:07):
your awareness back to your breath, breathing in and out
of your heart space. May you be happy, may you
be well, May you be free from stress, worry, fear,

(03:31):
and anxiety. And may your whole life be truly blessed.
Bringing your awareness back to the space around you and
slowly opening your eyes to increase self awareness and growth,

(03:57):
I invite you to listen to this evening's reflection. You
can also deepen your practice with me on Inside Timer
