Speaker 1 (00:05):
Approche production. Good morning. I'm Jennifer Cray, host of your
morning mantra. Our anger and frustration comes from expecting certain outcomes.

(00:25):
Today's meditation is about softening our grip and letting go
of the need to control. Let's begin, if it's safe
to do so.

Speaker 2 (00:37):
Close your eyes or lower your gaze. Relax your eyes,
Relax your ears, relax your jaw, relax your shoulders down,
and bring your attention to your breath, drawing your breath

(01:00):
to your heart space. Whenever we feel anger or frustration,
this is a sign that we are suffering because we
are trying to control something outside of us which is

(01:20):
not within our control. Physical symptoms or body heat clenching
our fists. Some things are not meant to be held
too tightly. Letting go of needing answers, letting go of

(01:45):
forcing outcomes. Know that when we try to control, we
lose the opportunity to influence. Instead, surrender, count backwards from ten,

(02:05):
or escape your body for a bird's eye view. This
feeling will pass, A solution will arise, though it may
be not which you expected. Today's mantra I let go

(02:27):
of what I can't control. Repeat to yourself, either out
loud or.

Speaker 1 (02:34):
In your mind. I let go of what I can't control,
bringing your awareness to your breath and back to the
space around you. Slowly open your eyes to increase self

(02:56):
awareness and growth. I invite you to listen to this
evening's reflection. You can also deepen your practice with me
on inside Timer. Find the link in the show notes below.
