Our bodies are not problems to solve—they are sacred homes to honor. In today’s meditation, we practice accepting our bodies just as they are, with gratitude for all they’ve carried us through.

Speaker 1 (00:05):
Approche production. Good morning. I'm Jennifer Cray, host of your
morning mantra. Our relationship with our body often becomes conditional.
Today's meditation welcomes us back into our bodies, a safe,

(00:30):
sacred home. Your morning mantra, my body is my home.
Let's begin. If it's safe to.

Speaker 2 (00:44):
Do so, close your eyes or lower your gaze. Relax
your eyes, Relax your ears, relax your jaw, relax your shoulders.

Speaker 1 (01:00):
Down, and bring your attention to your breath. Draw your
breath into your belly. As we age, our bodies may
feel more pain, or we may feel let down, thinking

(01:21):
we can't do the things that we used to, or
maybe our body is experiencing disease or is inflamed. This
can cause us to suffer, clinging to what was wishing
it were some other way, less pain, more easeful, less sick,

(01:51):
more healthy. Our bodies are our home, our vessel of life.
We judge it good or bad is beside the point.

(02:12):
Only acceptance for what is right now will bring peace,
an unconditional love for our body, which has carried us
since birth and will continue to carry us until the end.

(02:35):
Today's mantra, my body is my home. Repeat to yourself,
either out loud or in your mind. My body is
my home, bringing your awareness to your breath and back

(02:57):
to the space around you. Slowly open your eyes to
increase self awareness and growth. I invite you to listen
to this evening's reflection. You can also deepen your practice
with me on inside Timer. Find the link in the
show notes below.
