morning mantra. Energy is a precious resource. Today's meditation is

about having an honesty around our energy levels, acknowledging them,
and being kind to ourselves. Your morning mantra, I honor
my energy. Let's begin, if it's safe to do so,

close your eyes or lower your gaze. Relax your eyes,
relax your ears, your jaw, relax your shoulders down, and
bring your attention to your breath, drawing our breath down

into our belly buttons. We have a responsibility to protect
our energy. Others may benefit or use our energy, and
they and we might not notice when our energy is low.

It is up to us to tune in, to come
to know the signs and symptoms of our energy, to
know when we need rest, food, exercise, to have awareness

of what depletes and what stimulates us. Becoming an expert
and a protector of our own vitality, aware of what
we need and prepared to act on it despite outer expectations.

Honoring our energy levels is a true act of self love.
