This is a companion podcast for this morning's mantra.

We too often shape our lives around others’ expectations, wearing masks that dim our spark. Today’s meditation, inspired by Howard Herman’s wisdom, invites you to release obligation and choose whatever lights you up from within.

Speaker 1 (00:05):
Approche production. Hi. I'm Jennifer Cray. Let's reflect on today's mantra.
I choose what makes me feel alive. Close your eyes
or lower your gaze. Relax your eyes, relax your ears,

(00:33):
relax your jaw, relax your shoulders down, and bring your
attention to your breath. Allow the events of your day
to run through your mind from when you woke up
to this very moment. Reflect on feeling most alive today?

(00:58):
What were you doing? Notice where you leaned into obligation

(01:23):
rather than joy. Reflect on how others reacted to your liveness.

(02:09):
What can you learn from this? Now? Think of three
things that happened today that you can be grateful for.

(02:31):
Say thank you, and then let go, releasing the day
and all thoughts that came with it. Calling your energy
back to this moment, bringing your attention to your breath,

(03:01):
Breathing in and out of your nose, Drawing your breath
down into your belly where there are no thoughts at all.

(03:21):
See you tomorrow for your morning mantra. You can also
deepen your practice with me on Inside tim or find
