來自台南的黃黛芬今年五十九歲，十年前意外跌倒導致脖子以下完全失去行動能力，心肺功能也受損。醫生曾宣判她將永遠無法站起來，但黛芬沒有放棄希望，經過二十次的手術以及多年的復健，她在三年前開始可以在柺杖的幫助下行走。
黛芬聊了她受傷之後如何在親友與社會資源的支持之下找回生活的步調；為了回饋社會，即使身體仍受傷痛所苦，黛芬依然開設長照公司；之後認識了「滯留島舞蹈劇場」，一個位於南台灣長期投入「共融舞蹈」的團體，「共榮舞蹈」的精神旨在鼓勵身障者與直立人一起在舞臺上演出。
社會資源系統方面，Zoe 也補充說明台灣目前的長照系統中，透過合法管道雇用外籍看護，在新舊任看護交替之間無法避免的空窗期所造成的照護與法律漏洞；黛芬則分享自己透過勞工局媒合工作的親身經驗，並提出政府應該更重視身障者的工作能力與媒合職缺的合適性，並加速媒合的效率。
三年前開始恢復行動能力的黛芬依然渴望愛與性，因此開始透過網路認識新對象。重返交友世界後黛芬曾經歷交友詐騙後將對方告上法庭；也有成功與其他網友見到面，並在上過床之後確認了自己的身體是還能承受性愛的。
黛芬並沒有放棄探索愛與性的可能，Zoe 也希望能藉由黛芬的故事鼓勵所有人：不論自己的年紀、身體狀況，只要還有渴望，都可以勇敢追求自己所想要的。
