鬼島之音再次入圍國際女性PODCAST獎（International Women’s Podcast Awards）！
同獎項的入圍者還有加拿大國際廣播電台 Radio-Canada / CBC 的兩部法語作品：談人工流產的《墮胎：一個與眾不同的國家》（Avortement : un pays pas comme les autres）及探討健康及子宮內膜異位症的《憤怒的月經》（Frue menstruates）。由 CNN Portugal CNN 葡萄牙辦公室所製作的歷史節目，講述19世紀葡萄牙俘虜東非加扎帝國的皇帝岡岡哈納，名稱為《當葡萄牙綁架了一位皇帝岡岡哈納》（Gungunhana. Quando Portugal Raptou um Rei）。
由歐洲聯盟委員會 European Commission 所支持的節目《卡車司機生活》 (Vie de routieres) ， WePod Project 出品。兩部有關女性受暴力的節目：來自德國的《12條生命》（12 Leben）講述針對女性的犯罪的故事，及來自西班牙的《大房子》（La Casa Grande）紀錄著曾遭受家庭暴力和強制控制的婦女的證詞。
來自台灣由鬼島之音製作的《Z色派對》。我們投件的作品是第72集「五歲被賣給俱樂部女郎｜專訪：回憶錄作家賴水雲 Nancy Baldwin」。
賴水雲出生在二戰之後的台北，五歲被原生家庭賣給養母，這位養母的職業是服務駐台美軍的酒吧女郎。賴水雲在2023年出版的一本回憶錄裡描述了1950年代台灣的社會狀況、她在紅燈區長大的現實、移民美國後在航天工業中開啟40年職業生涯的經歷。賴水雲的故事是個堅韌和勇氣的典範，也是歷史保存的寶貴資料，她的故事是一代人的故事，也是台灣乃至亞洲和東南亞戰後社會的共同經歷。

The Burden
The Burden is a documentary series that takes listeners into the hidden places where justice is done (and undone). It dives deep into the lives of heroes and villains. And it focuses a spotlight on those who triumph even when the odds are against them. Season 5 - The Burden: Death & Deceit in Alliance On April Fools Day 1999, 26-year-old Yvonne Layne was found murdered in her Alliance, Ohio home. David Thorne, her ex-boyfriend and father of one of her children, was instantly a suspect. Another young man admitted to the murder, and David breathed a sigh of relief, until the confessed murderer fingered David; “He paid me to do it.” David was sentenced to life without parole. Two decades later, Pulitzer winner and podcast host, Maggie Freleng (Bone Valley Season 3: Graves County, Wrongful Conviction, Suave) launched a “live” investigation into David's conviction alongside Jason Baldwin (himself wrongfully convicted as a member of the West Memphis Three). Maggie had come to believe that the entire investigation of David was botched by the tiny local police department, or worse, covered up the real killer. Was Maggie correct? Was David’s claim of innocence credible? He and a protege swore they would build an empire on blood. Then the relationship frayed and the protege accused Calvin of a double homicide which he claimed he didn’t do. But did he? Award-winning journalist Steve Fishman spent seven years to answer that question. This is the story of one man’s last chance to overturn his life sentence. He may prevail, but someone’s gotta pay. The Burden: Empire on Blood is the director’s cut of the true crime classic which reached #1 on the charts when it was first released half a dozen years ago. Season 1 - The Burden In the 1990s, Detective Louis N. Scarcella was legendary. In a city overrun by violent crime, he cracked the toughest cases and put away the worst criminals. “The Hulk” was his nickname. Then the story changed.
