本集為粉紅重生計畫的洪慕絜，分享她對抗乳癌及重拾自信的道路。
2023年，洪慕絜發現乳房上有異物，但因忽略了早期治療的黃金時機，她一直到2024年5月才去檢查。一個月後，醫生通知慕絜確診乳癌三期。考量到腫瘤生長位置，慕絜必須將兩邊乳房全部切除，她也坦言，失去乳房對她來說帶來極大的失落感。
慕絜帶我們回顧治療乳癌的療程。慕絜經歷過了化療、乳房切除、乳房立即重建、放射線治療及荷爾蒙治療。過程中，病痛、療程的副作用及不健康的伴侶關係帶給她身心靈許多壓力，她也在過程中了解到家人、朋友陪伴的重要性。
乳癌為台灣女性發生率第一名的癌症（一樣也會發生在男性上！）根據衛生福利部國民健康署的資料，乳癌好發於45到69歲的女性，每年有近萬名女性罹患乳癌，約有2,000 名因乳癌離世。
慕絜接受了 Pink Reborn 粉紅重生公益計畫的資助，並在乳房切除後獲得乳房重建的機會。
由台灣年輕病友協會舉辦的 Pink Reborn 粉紅重生公益計畫是一個協助乳癌病友獲得免費乳房植入物的計畫，也致力於提倡重視乳房的健康。慕絜告訴我們，她很慶幸也很感激可以了解到這個計畫，她也希望這個計畫可以提高能見度，讓更多有需求的人可以獲得資源。更重要的是，幫助乳癌患者重拾自信心。
最後，我們也要提醒聽眾朋友定時檢查及篩檢乳房的重要性。預防勝於治療！乳癌若能儘早發現，即可儘早進行評估及相對應的預防及治療。於今年1月起，台灣健署擴大了免費乳癌篩檢年齡，40 到 74歲女性每年兩年可接受一次免費檢測。因乳癌發生率的年輕化，若年齡未達政府免費補助的門檻，主持人及慕絜也建議可以自費篩檢。

The Burden
The Burden is a documentary series that takes listeners into the hidden places where justice is done (and undone). It dives deep into the lives of heroes and villains. And it focuses a spotlight on those who triumph even when the odds are against them. Season 5 - The Burden: Death & Deceit in Alliance On April Fools Day 1999, 26-year-old Yvonne Layne was found murdered in her Alliance, Ohio home. David Thorne, her ex-boyfriend and father of one of her children, was instantly a suspect. Another young man admitted to the murder, and David breathed a sigh of relief, until the confessed murderer fingered David; “He paid me to do it.” David was sentenced to life without parole. Two decades later, Pulitzer winner and podcast host, Maggie Freleng (Bone Valley Season 3: Graves County, Wrongful Conviction, Suave) launched a “live” investigation into David's conviction alongside Jason Baldwin (himself wrongfully convicted as a member of the West Memphis Three).
