סמל בועז מנשה יוגב ז"ל, בן 19 מטלמון, היה טכנאי מערכות הגנה בחטיבה צפונית, ונפל בקרב על נחל עוז. אימו עטרה מספרת: "בועז היה ילד מקסים ואהוב מאוד. אחרי שהוא נפל, שמנו לב לענווה העצומה שהייתה לו - כל דבר הוא עשה בפשטות ובתמימות. אני חושבת שאחד הסיפורים שהכי מאפיינים אותו - זה שחודש לפני שהוא נהרג, ישבנו בסעודת שבת ואחותו שאלה: 'אם עכשיו היה מגיע סוף העולם, את מי הייתם רוצים לקחת איתכם?' - המסקנה של כל אחד הייתה לקחת איתו את בועז, כולם רצו אותו".
