סגן יוחאי דוכן ז"ל, בן 26 מקריית ארבע, היה מפקד מחלקה בגדוד 13 שבחטיבת גולני ונפל בקרב על מוצב נחל עוז. אחיו הגדול יהודה מספר: "הוא היה ילד עקשן מאז ומתמיד - כשהוא גדל העקשנות הפכה להתמדה, הוא היה האדם הכי ענק שפגשתי, ככל שהוא צמח והתפתח וגדל - יכולנו לראות את האישיות המדהימה שצמחה. פשוט הערכתי והערצתי אותו - הוא היה הגיבור לא רק בקרב, אלא גם בחיי היום-יום, מצד אחד הוא היה איש של אמת, ומצד שני הוא היה מאוד רגיש ועדין".
יהודה סיפר את סיפור נפילתו את יוחאי: "כשנפתחת ההתקפה ב-6:29, יוחאי ישן, הוא עבד במשמרת לילה - ברגע שהוא קם מהפיצוצים, הוא רץ למיגונית עם בוקסר ושם את הווסט ואת הנשק והקסדה ורץ למיגונית. יוחאי מנהל את הקרב בחמ"ל של מוצב נחל עוז - מרכז העצבים של המוצב. ככל שעובר הזמן, הטבעת על החמ"ל מתהדקת והקרב עובר ממש עד לפתח הדלת של הכניסה לחמ"ל, התחמושת הולכת ואוזלת, בשלב מסוים המחבלים מתחילים לזרוק פנימה רימונים. הרימון נופל קרוב לכוח בפנים ויוחאי נשכב על הרימון - אבל הוא לא מתפוצץ והם ממשיכים להילחם. בשלב מסוים המחבלים מחליטים להצית את החמ"ל - יוחאי מנסה לכבות את האש, הוא שאף המון עשן - ותוך דקה וחצי הוא מאבד את ההכרה וקורס" | האזינו לשיחה המלאה בתכניתם של יאיר שרקי וספי עובדיה במסגרת מיזם "נזכור את כולם" שמביא את סיפוריהם של נופלי 7 באוקטובר
