מסעב חסן יוסף חסן יוסף נולד ברמאללה, ואביו היה אחת הדמויות הבולטות ביותר בחמאס. אבל מוסעב, בזמן שישב בכלא ישראלי, שינה את דעתו והפך לדמות מרכזית במאבק של ישראל נגד חמאס. שם הקוד שלו היה "הנסיך הירוק" - בנו של חמאס. הוא התראיין היום (חמישי) אצל אילנה דיין בגלצ והתייחס למו"מ בדוחא על עסקת חטופים: "אני לא מבין למה מקבלי ההחלטות כל כך אופטימיים, זה נראה שלוחצים על ישראל לסיים את המלחמה - בלי שום ערובה שחמאס באמת ישחרר את כל החטופים, אולי רק חלק מהם".
מסעב: "העזתים צריכים להאשים את עצמם - הם היו חלק מחמאס, הם העלו אותם לשלטון, חגגו את המלחמות נגד ישראל - היום הם משלמים את המחיר. בעיניי, זו צדק אוניברסלי".
