- وكان مجلس النواب قد عزل رئيسه كيفين مكارثي بأغلبية أصوات النواب الحاضرين في سابقة في تاريخ الولايات المتحدة.
- وقد أعرب البيت الأبيض عن أمله في أن يختار مجلس النواب رئيسا له في أقرب وقت.
- اتهم رئيس وزراء المجلس العسكري في النيجر /علي الأمين زين/ فرنسا بتنفيذ خطة لزعزعة أمن واستقرار النيجر تشمل اغتيال وزراء في الحكومة لزعزعة الاستقرار في البلاد.
- من جهته اتهم وزير الداخلية في حكومة المجلس العسكري بالنيجر محمد تنمبا فرنسا بدعم الارهاب في النيجر وحرمان البلاد من استغلال مواردها.
- قال وزير الداخلية في حكومة كوسوفو جلال سفيتشلا إن صربيا كانت تهدف إلى احتلال شمال كوسوفو في سيناريو يشبه ما حصل في إقليم دونباس الذي ألحقته روسيا بها.
- من جهته قال الرئيس الصربي ألكسندر فوتشيتش إن مجموعة من صرب كوسوفو هم المسؤولون عن قتل شرطي في كوسوفو.
