媽媽從小就得幫全家煮飯、每天餵豬，讓 Doreen 看到媽媽童年的孤獨；Doreen請媽媽陪她上街頭示威抗議時、發現媽媽比誰都衝，讓 Doreen 看到媽媽的支持；媽媽 50 歲放下一切回台灣開舞蹈教室，讓 Doreen 看到媽媽的勇敢。
因為這些故事，Doreen 重新認識了眼前這位堅韌的女性，也讓 Doreen 想起自己其實有個如此特別的媽媽。 15 年後再度合作，兩人毫無保留的誠實對話，學著走進彼此的心。
