En la vuelta, Toluca rompió el empate con un gol de cabeza de Luan García al minuto 65, tras un gran centro de Alexis Vega. Luego, al minuto 82, Vega selló el título con un penal, después de que Sebastián Cáceres cometiera una falta sobre Robert Morales.
- Con esta victoria, Toluca consigue su 11° título de Liga MX, poniendo fin a una sequía de 15 años sin campeonato.
