My friends, it's me Ella the Curious. Welcome back to
Adventures of Curiosity Cove, where every day is full of
wonder feelings and fun. Today's a super special episode because
it's all about moms.

Speaker 3 (01:15):
Yep, Mama's, Mommi's.

Speaker 2 (01:18):
Aunties, grandma's bonus moms, all the amazing grown ups who
love us big, big, big time. So whether your mom
gives the best hugs, makes the yummiest pancakes, or remind
you to believe in yourself when things get hard, this
episode is for her and for you too. Let's dive

(01:41):
into a mother's day adventure that'll fill you up and
maybe even make you smile from ear to ear. Are
you ready? Let's go. It was a bright and beautiful

(02:01):
day with the sun bursting through Ella's window. She woke
up with a jolt. Oh no, Roe, I forgot to
pick flowers for mama's Mother's Day surprise. She had planned
to give her mom a bouquet from the wildflower field
near Cove Castle. It was almost breakfast time and her
mom would wake up soon. Ella ran downstairs and grabbed
her mom's favorite vase, the gorgeous new aqua blue one.

(02:25):
Ella spent her hard earned savings because she broke the
last one. Ella then ran to her treehouse where Scout
and Laila were waiting. Happy Mother's Day, Ready for our
breakfast day with our mom's Layla was holding a lego
like coin purse that she made for her mother, and
Scout held new tennis balls and colorful containers he painted himself.

(02:46):
Not yet, I forgot to pick flowers for my mom's gift.

Speaker 3 (02:50):
No problem me, Well, I help you get some now.

Speaker 2 (02:53):
The trio sprinted to the wild flower field, but when
they arrived, a big sign was posted no picking flower today,
field closed for planting. What now, I can't just go
home empty handed? What will my mom think when both
of you give your mothers they're great gifts and mine
is left empty handed. It's Mother's Day, for goodness sakes,

(03:15):
the one day where our moms see how truly special
they are to us. Maybe we can find some flowers
somewhere else. They searched the neighborhood, but only found a
few weeds. Elli felt tears prick her big brown eyes.
This was supposed to be the perfect surprise, and now
I'll ruin my mom's special day. Scout scratched his head.

Speaker 3 (03:35):
Way, we don't need real flowers.

Speaker 2 (03:39):
Let's make some, Scout, that is an incredible idea. What
and I think of that?

Speaker 3 (03:46):
Let's go before we miss your mom's yummy kitty pancakes.

Speaker 2 (03:50):
The friends rushed back to the treehouse and got to work.
Ella found colorful paper, Layla cut flower shapes, and Scout
takes sticks for stems. When they finished, Ella held up
the most beautiful bouquet of handmade flowers. Oh, it's the
most perfect bouquet of flowers I've ever seen. I'll spray
some of my mom's Guardena perfume on them too. Come on,

(04:12):
let's go surprise our mamas. At breakfast, Ella presented the
bouquet to her mom. Ella, these are absolutely beautiful. Did
you make them?

Speaker 3 (04:23):
Yes?

Speaker 2 (04:24):
With help from my besties Scout and lay Love course, Mama,
I honestly forgot to pick your favorite flowers, but we
made these instead. I couldn't show up with nothing, especially
because Scout and Laylor brought such wonderful gifts for their mothers.
I know you'd feel terrible, Mama, Joy hugged her tightly. Well,

(04:44):
this is even better than the real thing because you
work so hard and that means the world to me.
And you know what, even if you came to our
special date empty handed, my special gift really is you.
But Mama, it's your day mine. Yeah, but you and
your friends or what also makes it special. Not the gifts.

(05:06):
Gifts are nice, but it's the thoughtfulness that matters most
to me. I think people put a lot of value
on material goods, but for me, experiences and being together
mean even more. But I will take these very special
guardinia smelling bouquet of colorful made flowers any day. Ella smiled. Now,

(05:27):
who's ready for my special kitty shaped pancakes, fresh orange
juice and chocolate croissants.

Speaker 3 (05:33):
We are happy Mother's.

Speaker 2 (05:35):
Day, Mama.

Speaker 3 (05:37):
Whoo.

I am so glad I was able to make my
mom something so special thanks to my amazing friends Scout
and Leila. I hope all the moms have a wonderful
Mother's day out there. It's really nice to know that
people make special days rather than material things. I hope
