but pretty dang nice. I'll take it. And he did
it is not froster or ice on the road or yeah,
it's all good. It's all good. Welcome to uh Friday,
and we got a show We've got a show today,
so scal is going to join us. That's one of
the things that's going to be happening at six p forty.
We're gonna be talking to Scale about Celtics. And yesterday

(01:10):
we announced an auction that we're going to be doing
on It's a two day auction one eyeem only. Lenda
Helping Caan is coming. But we have to do this
on Monday and Tuesday, where you could win an entire
suite of tickets which is twelve to the Trans Siberian

groom and some merch too. So we're going to be

(01:31):
talking about that coming up this morning. What else we
got going on today? Uh, it's front Row Friday. Speaking
of Trans Siberian Orchestra, we do, we gotta I like
this one. This is this is the one one that
brings it home for you. This is the one that
started it all for Trans Siberian Orchestra, before all of

(01:54):
the the lighting things on homes, you know, set to
the commercials stare, Yeah, yeah, all those things. I just
like the beginning winter kets anyway, So we we'll put
you in the front Road today.

Speaker 5 (02:09):
I mean, if you're nice and if you win, right,
this is what I like right here, damn, and it's.

Speaker 6 (02:20):
Pretty good felt.

Speaker 1 (02:23):
I mean, there's this one and of course it's you know,
Scottie Sham. This is up.

Speaker 7 (02:33):
It's like what way the piano?

Speaker 1 (02:39):
Yeah, so we're like fifteen year old kids? Whatever? Yeah, whatever,
all right, all right, So what's going on, Kelly? What
did you do last night? Oh? I went to Portland,
saw Portland, hung.

Speaker 8 (02:53):
Out with Chloe Nice, went to Mexico, Mexican place from
Guerrero Maya.

Speaker 1 (02:58):
I was gonna say Mexican. Took it to a nice
little quick trip over there in Mexico. Nice all ic
south to Mexican.

Speaker 6 (03:02):
You went to a Mexican.

Speaker 1 (03:03):
Restaurant because I said yesterday I was craving Mexican. Maybe
there was not an employe. Maybe it's seeped into my brain. Yeah,
it's Chili Rehano.

Speaker 8 (03:11):
I probably should I get the three three thing combo
Taco enchilada.

Speaker 1 (03:15):
And after getting Maguac to start with the chips, that
was just too much. Yeah yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah. You
can't do that too. But I can't do that. No,
I can't do that. I couldn't even fit a beer in. Yeah, what.

Speaker 3 (03:28):
Who are you?

Speaker 1 (03:29):
A story was believable that point. What'd you do with
Kelly Brown? Scotty?

Speaker 9 (03:35):
I was with you most of the day and then
went home. I said hi to Amy off to be
of blackness.

Speaker 1 (03:41):
So when you I'm just telling you this, Erica, so
you know, and when it happens, if it does, somewhere
down the road, I don't want you to feel bad
about yourself, because it's very easy to feel bad about
yourself because spending the day with Scott is quiet. He's
not interested in conversation at all, and he will sit

(04:03):
in dead silence in a room with you and not speak,
which I'm used to it. I'm it's fine, everybody is. No.
It takes takes a while. Sometimes I have to sometimes
I throw out a little does he want it?

Speaker 3 (04:16):
Nope?

Speaker 6 (04:17):
Got it?

Speaker 1 (04:18):
Not at all. So if you ever do to spend
a lot of time, take it personally.

Speaker 6 (04:22):
Yeah, tell it all.

Speaker 1 (04:23):
I feel comfortable with you that I don't have to
say yeah, yeah, yeah, he's got nothing, he's got he's
got yeah understand, yeah yeah yeah yeah. What did you
do yesterday?

Speaker 4 (04:32):
Yesterday? I took my first ever hot Works class.

Speaker 2 (04:35):
I didn't know that I could sweat that much.

Speaker 4 (04:37):
It was great. I would recommend it was It felt good.

Speaker 1 (04:40):
Do you know what you're talking to?

Speaker 4 (04:41):
Like and twenty five degrees? It was crazy, crazy hot
bowls of hell.

Speaker 1 (04:49):
A kitchen at a local restaurant. It felt like, Yeah,
I got to ask you more about that all the talks. Yeah, yeah.

Speaker 2 (05:01):
And then I went to the gym with my friend,
I did the hotworks class with my sister, worked out
with my friend, and then hung out with my parents.

Speaker 3 (05:06):
Nice.

Speaker 1 (05:07):
All right, all right, all right, I was well. I
spent the day in silence with you, like it was
a monastery and we were not allowed to speak. And
I got home, had a nice surprise visit at home
and yeah, I had had a little sandwich and pretty
much did some work and went to bed. I was,

(05:27):
I was done. I was I was I was told.
So obviously it's been a it's been a long week.
Thank you to all of you for making it a
little bit easier. Uh, you know, appreciate it very much. Yeah.
So I did a pre show thing. I put it
on the Instagram if you want to see it. But uh,
but yeah, so that's that. What else is going on.
There's something else. I feel like, Oh, we're gonna do

(05:48):
the We're gonna do the picks today. We're gonna do
the the others mac back picks. We're going to do that.
We got five things you need to know. We never
got the good news segment in, but we are going
to do the punch in the things. Okay, So all
that's gonna happened this morning as well. So forecast looks
same pretty much. Do I understand that?

Speaker 8 (06:06):
Correct mix the song with a little tad warmer like
maybe forty six forty seven?

Speaker 1 (06:11):
All right, I will I will take it. Uh in
the news man, I can't get over man. I don't
know if I'm ever gonna be the same jelly roll
without a beer Coe Wow.

Speaker 6 (06:18):
Going on there.

Speaker 1 (06:22):
Sometimes it's the little things. What else we got, Cardi B.
This is how you know you're rich. She did something
with her baby's umbilical cord that I think is gonna
be oh boy, Yeah, it's gonna make you your head
go to the left and you like a dog and
you're gonna excuse me. Yeah that's good.

Speaker 3 (06:41):
I got that for you.

Speaker 1 (06:42):
Anyway, Look, all of that is gonna come in time.
All all we're looking for right now, is you to
tell us what you want to hear? You can text
a way to eight two nine five eight and we
just might play it for you. So there were no
games last night, right, The Bruins did not play, the
Celtics did not play.

Speaker 10 (07:00):
There was Thursday night football was lost in Houston. So
he's looking even better in the division today. Stephen A
Smith came out and called Drake may A liar.

Speaker 1 (07:11):
Did you know that? Yes? I did hear that. Yes, yes,
stephen A needed to be in the in the press.
I guess for a little bit. I like stephen A
toss him screaming a yeah, he's he's alway. Yeah, he's
always yelling. But I do I do. I do like him,
but I don't like like calling Drake may A liar.
I mean, if there's anybody look at that guy. I
know that I know he ain't lying. You know he

(07:31):
ain't lying. I don't think he's got it in him.
Portnoy lost. It went all over stephen A. That's fun anyway,
early buzz request everybody, if you want to hear something,
let us know, text away and we will play it.

Speaker 11 (07:42):
Maybe, I want to say at.

Speaker 1 (07:56):
This point, in my life. I'm not a spring chicken,
not over the hill, somewhere in between, closer to the hill. Okay, clearly,
I'm gonna say it, and I'm gonna say it loud.
I'm gonna say it proud.

Speaker 12 (08:11):
I I love chocolate milk.

Speaker 1 (08:15):
I'm not even I'm not even afraid to say it.
I love chocolate milk. Nothing around chocolate milk, Okay.

Speaker 10 (08:24):
I mean, I don't hate it that I knew not
drinking milk areas I knew someone was gonna po.

Speaker 1 (08:28):
Poo it ie was gonna try to yuck up the
no it tastes.

Speaker 8 (08:32):
Okay, I just I don't think I need milk unless
it's an ice cream down it.

Speaker 1 (08:35):
Yeah, Yeah, I'm down with milk. I don't I'm not
an anti milker, you know what I mean. I'm down
with milk. I like regular milk, but it'll be just
chocolate milk.

Speaker 6 (08:44):
Just rips.

Speaker 1 (08:45):
Dude. You know what's good when you get into your sixties,
but chocolate milk, dude. Yeah, come on, I love that guy.
Uh So I do these little protein drink try and
you know, don't give me the vanilla, don't give me.
Don't give me that nonsense just give me chocolate, all right,
right there? Yeah it's good. Yeah, they're in the fridge.

(09:07):
If you want one, just in my just grab one. Yeah,
pretty good. You forget chocolate milk. Why do you, as
an adult have to let go of the things you
loved when you were a kid, right, I mean sure
a lot of them aren't good for you. This is
not really milk, I'm pretty sure, right, But I'm just
saying chocolate milk is good.

Speaker 4 (09:25):
I don't send protein so it feels healthy.

Speaker 1 (09:27):
Yeah, yeah, yeah, I don't. I don't get the bunny, Okay.
I don't get to the store and get the giant
and nest quick bunny. I don't know if I believe you. No,
I don't. I don't. But I mean, you know, if
a glass bottle of Kintoka Creamery chocolate milk rolled up
on the doorstep, I wouldn't say no. I'm not asking
for it, don't think I am. I'm just citing that
it's very good.

Speaker 3 (09:47):
You know.

Speaker 1 (09:48):
Sometimes you say things like that, next thing, you know,
you show up. I'm not asking. I am not asking.
But local dairies, man, they do great jobs with flavored milk,
you know. So anyway, yeah, all right, just an observation,
just sharing.

Speaker 7 (10:01):
Damn it, I'm with you. Chocolate milk, chocolate milk?

Speaker 1 (10:04):
How often do you have it? Often? No?

Speaker 9 (10:07):
Oh no, okay, maybe like once every two months. Okay, yeah,
they go through the because I've been doing the grocery
shopping and make a whoa chocolate.

Speaker 1 (10:20):
Milk and a small container.

Speaker 7 (10:21):
What feels guilty?

Speaker 1 (10:22):
He feels guilty? What is it when you do the shopping?
How often do you on an Offeraturday? Every Saturday?

Speaker 3 (10:29):
You do it?

Speaker 1 (10:30):
Okay, I do it pre retirement. Now all I'm getting
is I'm gonna go shopping tomorrow. So I get home
the next day and you haven't gone shopping. That's good.
There's no the milk is she says she's going to
which I gladly say no, no, I'll do it. And when
I do it, she's like I said I was gonna do.

(10:51):
I'm like, now you don't have to. But my let
me ask you this. When you get home from the
shopping and the and the and the the display of
food comes out in the two small bags that you
have that cost like two hundred dollars. Now exactly what
does she roll her eyes at if you get something?
Is there something that you boy, I don't go in there.

Speaker 7 (11:11):
If I see something, yeah, I get it.

Speaker 9 (11:13):
It's usually if anything like there might be like a
package of cookies.

Speaker 1 (11:17):
A small package like this isn't This wasn't.

Speaker 9 (11:21):
Brought home for us to share, right obviously for one person.

Speaker 1 (11:25):
She'll be like, oh, Scotty not big on sharing. Not
the best. I bought that for me. That's Donny rights.
You want to just stay home. You know mine are.
I get the eye roll. Not because of the choices,
because I try to keep it pretty, you know, pretty good.

(11:45):
But uh, I get on a run where I forget
that we already bought some or I didn't know that
Valerie bought some. If any of you need salsa, I
have about I've got some Mitchell's fresh in the fridge,
but I also have some other you know some. I
have some jars that apparently we don't need because apparently

(12:07):
we've got enough. So anyway, and we need some, just
say Crutch, I need some salsa, and I'll deliver.

Speaker 9 (12:13):
We chatted about this a couple of weeks ago. But
I seem to be the guy. It's like, oh, two
for three dollars two, Yeah you do. She's like he's
like to try, did you buy two of everything? Pretty much?

Speaker 1 (12:24):
Yeah? A lot of times though, and Laura pointed this out, Yeah,
you don't need to buy it's still one is a
buck fifty, rightly, the two of them book so good together. Yeah,
and then and the convenience stories getting in on it.
You know, if you buy another candy bar, right, it's
a No. I got one.

Speaker 3 (12:38):
That's good.

Speaker 1 (12:39):
That's all I need. I don't need the you know,
I don't need four reces cups. Okay, I don't. I
don't need the long And what is it with these
like these giant freaking candy bars that are like can
we just be real? Can we just do a normal
candy bar and make it like under a buck? When
did it become a buck fifty for a kit cat?
Now I'm not buying kit cats. I'm just asking like,

(13:00):
when did that?

Speaker 7 (13:01):
How do you know they're about fifty?

Speaker 1 (13:05):
All candy bars are about fifty? No? I know for
somebody who says I don't buy no, no, no, because
because you could see it, Like it's if you go
and you're like, oh, I'm seeing see the price tag
in front of the thing, and I'm.

Speaker 7 (13:16):
Like you're standing the candy bar. You stand in the
candy bar.

Speaker 1 (13:19):
It's not a cat. I'm a Twigs guy. If I'm
buying the candy bar, it's probably gonna be a TwixT
because it's kind of like a cookie, all right. Anyway,
I don't know why he's fat. Anyway, Hi, welcome to
Welcome to Friday. I can I just take thirty two
seconds and send this special song out to a friend
of ours who is up earlier than normal today because

(13:42):
today is a big guy. It's a big day for him.
And uh, I'm not gonna you'll find out, scoop. I'm
not gonna name you. I'm not gonna say your name
because that's kind of embarrassing, even though it isn't. Because
you're getting something that you need to have done. You

(14:03):
got to check that. You got to be diligent get
that colonoscopy, all right. So I called a friend of ours.
We all know, I'm not going to name him, but
I called him and he was he was a ducal
axe in the hell out of it or whatever it is,
ducallets or whatever they call it.

Speaker 2 (14:19):
You know.

Speaker 1 (14:21):
So anyway, good luck with the with the colonoscopy. Doc
what I'm sorry I mean to say that nothing wrong
with getting the colonoscopy. All right, Well, here we are
fifteen after six and on Fridays. One of the things
we do is the five Things need to Know segment,
where we inform you of something that we believe will

(14:42):
be of value to you.

Speaker 4 (14:46):
Four three, two count down su.

Speaker 13 (14:53):
Five Things you need to know Backs of Sea Coast
Stone Marble and Granted the seacoasts largest selection of marble,
granted and sports counter right there on Rue one the
Hampton Falls Seburt, New.

Speaker 1 (15:04):
Hampshire line and check them out online at Seacoaststone dot com. Right,
Scott McMullin has the first of five things. I totally
see this and believe it.

Speaker 9 (15:18):
As animals get older, they get grumpier, just like human beings.
Scientists link has changed to hormones, slower metabolism, and the
natural wear and tear of the body in the brain.
Just like humans, Aging animals may need more patience, care
and understanding.

Speaker 1 (15:36):
Are you are you providing that I'm doing the best
I can?

Speaker 9 (15:42):
I Amy sometimes says she thinks it's the cataracts. Oh,
I think he sees me just fine when I go hey,
come on, Because you have to make noises now to
like to go out because he has to get the
movement and the noise, and he look up and then
he'll turn his head the other way, like get out
of your human.

Speaker 1 (16:01):
When Daisy is sleeping, If she's on the bed, she's sleeping,
and you go to move her, don't put your face
anywhere near because she's gonna go. She's gonna snap. And
she's not even old, you know. But I don't waken
that dog up. She doesn't like, you know, doesn't like
not many do, but they no, I know. But even
if even if you even if you rub them or

(16:22):
whatever ty to gently wake up, she don't waken up.
And I think she's just saying, I'm not I'm awake,
but I'm not gonna do No, she's not giving in,
you know, she's she's got a moral fiber like a
constitution that that's not gonna be disturbed. But I totally
believe this, because yeah, I see it.

Speaker 3 (16:38):
I got you every day.

Speaker 1 (16:39):
I got you.

Speaker 3 (16:41):
Uh, Erica, what do you got?

Speaker 1 (16:43):
Five things you need to know?

Speaker 2 (16:44):
Five things you need to know? Okay, I'm hosting Thanksgiving.
Here are the top five things to make your home
perfect for it. I actually don't think you guys can
get any of these done in a week. But it
says a big kitchen, okay, a big living room all right,
a big dining room thanks at least one extra bathroom,
and outdoor space.

Speaker 4 (17:04):
That seems like not what I was expecting the answer
to be.

Speaker 1 (17:07):
Okay, But here's here's the thing, Like, I have an
open concept house, so it's pretty much, hey, everybody, right,
here's the house, you know what I mean. And the
other thing, and the outdoors is key because look, at
some point you've got to be outside. And I was
reading and I'm going to tack this onto yours, even
though it's not really my five things, but since we're
down a person, we'll call it. The ability to entertain

(17:32):
is factoring in two people buying houses nowadays, especially people
of the like you know, the younger generations. They're shying
away from houses that would give them the opportunity to
entertain because they don't want the world. They don't want it,
and they don't they don't, and they also they don't
want to pay because I mean, you know, I mean,

(17:53):
the houses are if you're in your twenties and your thirties,
and I'm gonna buy a house. And if you can
buy a house, good on you, man. Lucky for you,
that is, because most people cannot and that sucks. But
now when you're looking at a house, going, let's not
get a big house. I do not want to be.
I do not want to be the house that has
to freaking host a holiday. Yeah, that's that's a thing.

(18:17):
They'd rather go someplace and celebrate someplace else and rather
than have it at their own home. So I'm just
throwing that out there, Kelly Brown, what do you got there?
I have more good news about smoking.

Speaker 8 (18:27):
Smoking just two cigarettes a day increases heart disease risk
by as much as fifty percent just to a day.
That's according to a study publishing the journal pos Medicine.
Researchers found that men and women who smoked as few
as two cigarettes a daily also at a sixty percent
increase risk of death from any cause compared to those

(18:48):
who never smoke. While data from the American Lung Association
shows that adult smoking in the US has dropped to
roughly twelve percent in twenty twenty two, the new study
found that cutting back on usage may not be enough
to reverse the harm. Researchers suggest Americans should be counseled
to quit smoking altogether, not just cutting back.

Speaker 1 (19:09):
That of course, is not breaking news. Notice not even
just two bucks a day.

Speaker 3 (19:14):
Very bad.

Speaker 1 (19:15):
I like how you started it off with you said,
good news of our smokers. I like how you started
that off. That's not good news. But I was just
saying sarcastic. But yeah, I got I got that.

Speaker 2 (19:25):
Thank you.

Speaker 1 (19:26):
Mine is going out to eat? Okay, yes, who don't
love going out to eat?

Speaker 3 (19:32):
I'm sorry?

Speaker 1 (19:32):
Were you talking specifically to me, I'm talking to everybody. Yeah,
because what I'm about to tell you is where you
know how the dining thing, just like bars, goes and trends,
you know what I mean, like what's hot, what's not
kind of thing. And I think more than ever. I mean,
when I was a kid man, there was no there
was no going out to eat. You know, we didn't
now the crutch meyers. I think that the old pizza

(19:53):
hut once in a while. No, no, no, we went
to Burger Chef because before McDonald's even rolled into the
town next to mine, that was a big thing. It
was Burger Chef. Believe it or not. If you live
in Dover where that seven eleven is in downtown Dover
that used to be a restaurant called Burger Chef. That's
how old I set, you know, the chef there. We

(20:13):
sat there, a family, six of us having a hamburger
and a small fry for like a buck, and all
of a sudden, my dad look, my dad looks over. No, no,
my dad looks over to the left. He goes, that's
a drug deal going on.

Speaker 3 (20:25):
Out of here over there.

Speaker 1 (20:25):
We're out of here. That was it, what happened. That
was anyway. But the trends nowadays it's much I mean everybody.
Sometimes you just come home and you're like, let's just yep,
go grab something.

Speaker 14 (20:39):
You know.

Speaker 1 (20:39):
Some of the trends according to the Restaurant Reservation Service,
and there's been an increase in dining up. It's up
over eight percent over the last year. They expected trying
to continue in twenty six with people set to dine out.
How many times a month do you think people grab
something dine out? You're exactly right, scotty, right out of

(21:02):
the gate, ten times on your money myself. Yeah. For
millennials the average is even higher. They plan to dine
out fourteen times a month on the average, making them
the most frequent restaurant goers. Many people struggling financially right now,
leaving sixty one percent to say dining out next year
will feel more like a special, occasional, an everyday thing

(21:22):
more than fifty five. Fifty five percent expect you'll spend
even more on restaurants as prices go up in their home. Yeah,
but they will go up in restaurants too, I would
imagine right, Yes, the shared plate era may be over that.
I mean I went out like we. I don't know
what this says about us, but sometimes we'll share a
plate like we we shared We went to the brat

(21:45):
and shared a pizza. We each got a salad and
shared a pizza. What do you share like a chicken?
I didn't say that. I didn't say salad. I didn't
say that. We each had a salad and we split
a pizza.

Speaker 6 (21:56):
I saw the little salad there.

Speaker 1 (21:58):
It wasn't a little salad. It was a regular. Anytime
you order a salad, it's a possible salad. Okay, thanks,
we're gonna share this one. People, Why do you say
it like that? Greg, I don't don't.

Speaker 2 (22:13):
The time.

Speaker 1 (22:14):
Some people are also looking for a more of a
more than a good meal. When they dine out, they
want experiential dining.

Speaker 3 (22:21):
You know.

Speaker 1 (22:23):
Uh, when we were coming out of COVID and restaurants
started to get back in, uh in the swing of things.
But but but everybody was still freaking out about COVID.
I paid an exorbitant amount of money to eat in
one of those domes just so we could go out.
Yeah you know what I mean. I paid an exorbitant
amount of money in a nice place and it was great,
And I would do it again because at the time

(22:44):
we so needed it as a family. You know, we
hadn't it out and it was, like I just it
was great. But man, oh man, that's experiential dining, like
dining in a special place, you know kind of thing.
Restaurants are ready to give folks what they want. They're
offering thirty four percent more pop ups, calls and all
that kind of stuff. Blah blah blah. Half the people
say they are more likely to book a restaurant when

(23:04):
there's a unique experience.

Speaker 9 (23:05):
Yes, you know, something like with the Knights are fighting
in front of you. Yeah right there, fine dying in
his experience. The turkey legs are top shelf. Yeah, absolutely, absolutely,
So there's that.

Speaker 1 (23:18):
What else? Dot dot is for what we're eating? More
than two million us din of reviews. The most buzzed
about ingredient dishes include, h let me see, uh, matcha
macha macha? What what's that?

Speaker 2 (23:36):
It's like a drink. It's like a powder. Actually, you
can turn it into a drink like a nice macha
I think, I.

Speaker 1 (23:41):
Mean I no, no, no, yeah, I know. So three
guys go, what's that?

Speaker 4 (23:45):
Like a bo It's like green, kind of earth y.
I guess I would describe its.

Speaker 1 (23:51):
Okay, So masa is good. I think caffeine though it's
up eighty eight percent, So that's uh, that's big hand
rolls of seventy eight percent, see weed sixty six percent,
uh and spicy rigatoni up fifty six percent. So yeah,
all right, Well anyway, that's what's that's what's big in
twenty twenty six in case you're into dining. Uh thing,

(24:14):
So you learn something new every day and I'll throw
this in just as an added bonus.

Speaker 15 (24:20):
Uh.

Speaker 1 (24:20):
Somebody was on the news talking about some sort of
what was this one of those people that has a
financial she's a financial coach. He said, you know how
to save money during the holidays. This is gonna be big.
The best way to save money during the holidays is
not to buy your grandparents Christmas gifts. Don't buy your

(24:43):
grandparents Christmas gifts.

Speaker 4 (24:45):
It's got to be a better way.

Speaker 1 (24:46):
They don't need it, they got it.

Speaker 7 (24:47):
They don't need that.

Speaker 4 (24:49):
Maybe some pictures.

Speaker 1 (24:50):
They know they got enough pictures, Like when's last you're
gonna throw a new picture up in your grandmother's wall?
Good time?

Speaker 6 (24:58):
No way?

Speaker 1 (25:00):
Yeah, because and and basically they also said this financial
bliger said stop giving adults gifts. Gifts should stop. This
is what the financial person said at eighteen eighteen. After eighteen,
we can just be together and enjoy. You don't have
to buy gifts. You get screwing up the economy when

(25:21):
like the whole economy is build on my shoulders. Agree
with you, But you know, I don't need anything. I don't.
I tell you, I don't listen beer, gift restaurant gift cards.
Love it, yeah, yeah, home made stuff. I'm like, I
love it. Yeah, I'm like, I don't. You don't have
to go by meaning. Don't get me wrong. I love
getting gifts that made homemade cards. Fantastic, Yeah, awesome, glitter

(25:44):
all over the place. Look at that, Did you guys
not wipe up the glue of the spared glue that's
stuck on the side of that? You'd be happy that
the building inspector doesn't have to come over and take
a look at what you just gave me. This is
not even safe?

Speaker 3 (25:56):
Is that even that?

Speaker 1 (25:57):
Is that as best as you made? Is that even
safe to put on the shelf? Scott? It is not
like homemade make gifts. Oh I love it all right. Anyway,
those of you five things, probably more than that, actually
gave me some pain on more than your money's worth.
News is Bords and Kelly's next back. I'll say the

(26:23):
get I'm testing telling you. I could tell you. I
can repeat that a million times. The sign says merge ahead, ahead,
not the moment. Get up to where you got to merge,
and that's what you emerged. That's the safest and fastest
way to keep traffic moving.

Speaker 8 (26:39):
Mixes on a cloud today, hig at forty seven did
want to throw it a shout out thank you to
the common man who dropped off some Yeah, thank you
so much. They knew lend a helping canon was postponed,
but they still dropped off some breakfast sandwiches yesterday, beautiful people.

Speaker 1 (26:52):
So thank you very much. Day they made my morning. Yeah,
very very nice. So thank you to our friends of
the common matter. Right, Brian Scalabrini talking, so all back.

Speaker 3 (27:02):
It's Greg in the morning, buzz.

Speaker 1 (27:13):
Okay plays and gentlemen, it's the f wants.

Speaker 16 (27:19):
A young boy scout loved to play round ball from
Long Beach, California, almost seven feet tall. They called him
the white Mamba with the celts. He wanted all Now
he's a broadcast.

Speaker 1 (27:31):
A cosmic scow nos basket ball. Yeah, there's no basketball,
ladies and gentlemen, the court report when Brian's calabrin He
brought to you by Zero Waste and Recycling Services, New
Hampshire is locally owned, locally operated and locally loved waste
management company for zero problems called Zero Waste. So let
me tell you something. If you're a if you're a
you know a guy who plays in the park, you

(27:53):
think you're gonna you're gonna shout out, you know Brian
Scalabrini and challenge him to a duel.

Speaker 7 (27:57):
I wouldn't.

Speaker 1 (27:57):
I wouldn't do it with the hoops. I wouldn't just
say away, the man's a machine and he's a beast.

Speaker 17 (28:02):
How are you, man, I'm not as much of a
beast as I was when I was thirty five, but
I know, yeah, you were pretty good. Yeah, I still
go out there. I'll still go out there and play.
But I'm telling you the gap. Remember I said, I'm
closer to the bron than you are to me. That
gap is rapidly changing.

Speaker 1 (28:22):
That's what happens. Welcome to the club.

Speaker 14 (28:24):
Man.

Speaker 1 (28:24):
Did show a nice highlight on you the other night
in your Next Days.

Speaker 17 (28:28):
Yeah, I was even surprised how much bounce I had.
I was like, man, it was great. Like when we
all look back at our twenties. I mean, I was
dumb as hell, but as far as like man, I'm like, man,
that's a good old days right.

Speaker 1 (28:41):
There, dude, in my twenties I had I had a
kick ass fro.

Speaker 2 (28:45):
Go.

Speaker 1 (28:46):
All right, so I know we got we got a
limited amount of time with you this morning. We want
to get you out in time for your show. But
all right, so let's just uh, let's talk about the Celts.
At this point in the season. The pretty much they
pretty much what you thought they would be.

Speaker 3 (29:02):
Not really.

Speaker 17 (29:03):
I mean, I think they're better. They're playing good, really
good basketball. By the way, we're just not good, you know,
you know the whole what a clutch stat is. A
clutch stat is if you have a five point game
either way in the last five minutes, right, And we
haven't been good in those moments. But we had expectations
that they would play fast and they would do this

(29:24):
and that, and they're getting there and they're getting to
that point. Guys are improving, Like the Miya's Keta. He
wasn't even a rotational player last year and now he's
the starting center, so like there's some catch up that
has to be done. And I think we're now getting
to the point where Brown, White and Pritchard we have
high expectations for are starting to play well on the
same night before it was like bad, average good, And

(29:48):
you really you can't have that with your three studs,
especially when you lose Jason Tatum.

Speaker 3 (29:53):
Like there's your margin for error right here.

Speaker 17 (29:54):
So you know, the schedule has been a little bit tough, right,
It's just like a lot of road games, is what
it is.

Speaker 3 (30:01):
But I think that this team will continue to get better.

Speaker 17 (30:04):
The number one thing great if we were better in
the clutch, we would have two more wins.

Speaker 3 (30:10):
What does that mean?

Speaker 17 (30:11):
What means we'll be you know, ten and five and
we'll be a top three team in the East. So
you just got to be better down to stretch.

Speaker 1 (30:17):
Yeah, we had that. The Clippers gave it a row.
Wasn't it the Clippers that came back there? And it
was like a three point game?

Speaker 3 (30:22):
That's correct.

Speaker 1 (30:23):
Yeah, so in those last five moments they were able
to hang on.

Speaker 8 (30:26):
Kelly, what do you got you must like to play
from Jordan Walsh, who I kind of forgot was on
the roster and he's obviously getting a lot of time
this year defensively pretty well, playing great too.

Speaker 2 (30:37):
Right.

Speaker 17 (30:38):
Yeah, so's there's a thing about being a role player, right,
you first have a job to do. Jordan Wash is
on the Florida guard, the best player on the other team,
Like that's his job, right, So then you got and
he's doing a great job with that, not a good job,
a great job. And then offensively he has to find
his footing. Okay, so how do you how do you
capitalize on playing paying playing with Brown, Pritchard White, and

(31:01):
how could those guys acentuate what you do and one
thing like, I'll tell you what's really strange about NBA players.
I've been around NBA players forever. They don't work out
out of the corner. They always work out from the wing,
top of the key, free throw line, extended, whatever whatever
it is. But you have to be great out of
the corner. Josh might not was really good out of
the corner early in the season. It looks like Jordan

(31:21):
Waash is getting really good out of the corner. You
better stick those You better stick fifty percent of those
wide open corner threes, and you better be able to
drive the ball and score it out of the corner
if you're if you're getting those opportunities, because the ball
will find you in that spot.

Speaker 3 (31:35):
With star players.

Speaker 1 (31:36):
Yeah, you know, I've always been a Jalen guy. I mean,
I mean, I've loved him since the very beginning. Get
I had total class from the get go. I still
think he does great player, you know, and yet he
has a he has a bit of a he has
a little bit of a lull there and he gets
Ben's for the first half. And what I love about
him is he comes out and he says, you know
what he's holding me to a higher standard as he should.

(31:56):
I always appreciate the fact that he owns it when
he knows he's got to be better. Agree.

Speaker 17 (32:03):
I was really surprised when I heard this. Usually you
don't do that with your best players. Usually, you know,
you give them the benefit of the doubt. But I
was like, I thought they were maybe managing his minutes
in the first half so they can play them more
in the second half.

Speaker 3 (32:16):
You know, we just talked about clutch numbers.

Speaker 17 (32:18):
Yeah, you want the Brown on the floor, not during
those times, but maybe a way to stretch him four
or five more minutes in the second half, so he
plays ten in the first half but twenty two in
the second half.

Speaker 3 (32:27):
Yeah, So I thought it was that. It wasn't he.

Speaker 17 (32:30):
Didn't he wasn't playing well, he wasn't moving the ball.
Joe held him accountable and it ended up working out.
Jaln Brown was awesome in that second half of that
Brooklyn Nets game. So accountability is big. People say they
want to be coached, people say they want to be
held accountable, But until you do well, then you really
find out what type of man you are, what type
of leader.

Speaker 3 (32:49):
You are, and you know, in this world in the
NBA world. You you go by your top player.

Speaker 17 (32:54):
Yeah, your top player is being held accountable. Everybody else
would be held accountable.

Speaker 1 (32:58):
Right, just like I mean, just like Brady anybody else,
no matter what team. All right, so what do we got?
What do we got tonight? Seven third the net Brooklyn?

Speaker 3 (33:05):
Yeah, so you play the same thing.

Speaker 17 (33:06):
So the schedule this week good like Clippers nets nets
and if we can, you know, we got three wins.
My thing is, this is like an exhale week. We're
getting opportunity to take a take a deep breath, have
some caps in there in the schedule, you know, get
back to your work and your body and whatever you
do right, and then next week it gets difficult. I think,
if I'm not mistaken magic, I think there's Minnesota in there,

(33:31):
and then one more tough game next week, and that's
this is gonna be a make it or break it
week for me. We've got our footing the schedule. We
caught up to it, right, This should be kind of
like a little bit ahead of the schedule. So then
how well are we going to play the following week.
You're not supposed to look ahead, but that's what I do.
If we could, if we could get two of those,
get three of those next week. Now we know we're

(33:51):
bona fide, But if we go er and three next week,
then then then I'll have a better understanding of what
this team is.

Speaker 1 (33:57):
Scale makes his own was Kelly, I know you know
you want to look in the next week. He's looking
because he's scouted. That's what he does.

Speaker 3 (34:02):
That's what I do.

Speaker 1 (34:03):
And hey, Bro, nice to see you on the network
broadcast too. That's pretty cool. Uh, the sitting at the table,
that was pretty cool.

Speaker 3 (34:09):
I saw.

Speaker 1 (34:09):
I'm like, there's the guy right there. Good for you.

Speaker 3 (34:11):
Well, I'll tell you I have a life.

Speaker 17 (34:14):
My life was in a nice clean box and now
I'm driving down to Stanford, Connecticut on Mondays and Tuesdays.
And you're like, I'm not going to turn it down.
It's amazing. But you're like you realize right away, like, oh, man,
adding thirty more days into an NBA schedule that I
didn't have much time to begin with. It takes a toll,
but sure it's great, man, Like, you have to do it.
You have to get those opportunities. You want to thrive

(34:35):
in those opportunities. But inserting you know, thirty days a
year into something that I didn't have time to begin with,
a very interesting concept.

Speaker 1 (34:43):
All right, brother, well listen, you know the best. Thank
you for joining us. Man, appreciate it. I know you've
got to go go do your thing and we'll talk
to you as soon, brother, and have a great Thanksgiving
you too.

Speaker 3 (34:52):
Just text me the information about those tickets to what
you need and all that stuff.

Speaker 1 (34:56):
All right, thanks Brian. All right, Brian celebrating. So we
are going to have a couple of tickets to go
to a Celtics game and meet Brian Scalabrin and he'll
be huh me if you want to. I mean I
could make that happen, but this would be for a
high bidder for Lenda helping. Can when we do Lenda
helping can?

Speaker 3 (35:16):
You know?

Speaker 1 (35:16):
And let me tell you. So I go down there.
I was lucky to do that once with my wife
and my wife who's a huge Celtics fan. She's sitting
there and the look on her face when she walked
out on the parquet floor and Danny Age with she
lit up like she was so she was like a
little kid. I have a picture of her and you
could see the joy in her face. So scal comes over.
We're hanging out with Talker and then we've we've met

(35:38):
him several times and he takes her out to the
center court and it was to watch the joy on
her face. Like because when you step out on that
historic floor and you're out there on you know, over
the the over the Celtics logo, it's pretty special. It's
like going on the field at Fenway. It just it's grass,
but when your feet touch it, it's a whole different

(35:58):
kind of experience like that. So you'll get that, and
we'll when we decide when Lending Helping Can is gonna be,
when Laura is ready, we will we will let you know,
but it is gonna happen. And looking in that direction.
Coming up on Monday, we are going to make our
first move toward lensa Helping Lending Helping Can with a

(36:19):
two day auction, okay, a two day auction for an
entire suite that's twelve people, you and eleven others for
the Trans Siberian Orchestra Show, which is a week from today,
the seven point thirty show. Not only do you get
the entire suite, you're gonna get an autographed guitar from

(36:41):
TSO and a meet and great. Can't do everybody but
you and a guest can go backstage and have a
photo taken, and you also get a bunch of merch.
Very So we are going to auction that off. The
auction is gonna start Monday. It's gonna go till Tuesday,
at the end of the show Monday, six am till
Tuesday at at ten. And look, if you got all

(37:01):
family coming into town or maybe you're having a friends giving,
what a great way to spend the night on Friday night, right,
I mean an unbelievable rock Christmas show. So we're gonna
be doing that on Monday, thanks to the Trans Siberian Orchestra. Okay,
the show is at s n h U Arena. I
think there are some tickets still available, and a dollar
from every ticket sold to the seven thirty show goes

(37:22):
to let It Helping Camp. All right, So we got
that going for us, which is nice. Oh sure she
got that. Yeah, she's pretty sharp. She's pretty sharp. That
one also, because if that's not enough, right here in
my hand, I have tickets that say row one, Row one.

(37:49):
Trans Siberian Orchestra goes through Christmas. Even more coming up
next Friday, seven thirty. Who's in front of you? You
and row one, Scotty I usually the guy that has
a shirt on it says security, that's about it, that's
about it, and uh, yeah you'll you'll get front row.
We got some well you know we've been uh yesterday.

(38:17):
If you listen to the show, we have uh you know,
we have moments of of kindness shown to Kelly Brown.
You know, the whole feed Kelly thing. Yes, everybody, everybody
cares so much about Kelly. And then it hit close
to home, you know, when I'm sitting there and all

(38:38):
of a sudden, Valerie, after making some awesome beef stew says, uh,
would you.

Speaker 6 (38:44):
Like to take this to Kelly.

Speaker 1 (38:46):
I'm like, I'm sorry, and she goes, I just I
put I put some in a dish for Kelly, and like,
that's my wife. She's so nice. But really, Key Brown.

Speaker 12 (39:00):
Is when you women like killing prow and he tries
to make it like I'm not doing anything. I'm not,
but there's obviously something in the puppy eyes. I don't
know what's going on, Erica. I'm surprised you haven't made
anything that brought something in.

Speaker 1 (39:14):
I'm not now you.

Speaker 14 (39:14):
Don't have to.

Speaker 1 (39:16):
No no, no, no, no no, you don't have.

Speaker 17 (39:18):
To, but but I do.

Speaker 4 (39:19):
It's a spell us to.

Speaker 1 (39:21):
Spell, to tell the sort of a spell. They just like,
look at his face. I just want to be nice
to him. It's benevolence. It's benevolence. We're lucky that we
have nice people, nice people that listen. Like my wife
Laura is always helping you out. So last night I
get a surprise.

Speaker 15 (39:39):
I get a surprise from someone who uh who brought
me some a package uh for for us, which is
which is very nice and in it, I've got a
nice bag here, nice gift back.

Speaker 1 (39:53):
I've got some I've got some mixed very muffins, and
I've got that.

Speaker 4 (39:58):
You were talking about those yesterdah yeah yeah yeah.

Speaker 1 (40:00):
And I also have some uh well more mixed Verry muffins.
Who does love muffins? Erica, come on in here please
if you come for a second.

Speaker 3 (40:07):
Okay.

Speaker 1 (40:08):
So also here's a card for Erica which is very nice,
a nice little card. And Scotty, here's a card that's
a dressed to just you and me. Whoa And also
if I may also stay here, don't go there with
there's more there's more gifts for you. They're right. There
is some homemade Oh yeah, it's homemade turkey chili. Homemade

(40:30):
turkey chili and Scotty. There's some turkey chili for you,
and a NiFe container to take home. I have one
at my house too. Strangely, there's nothing in there for
Kelly Brown. Isn't that funny? Well yeah, I guess that's
just the way it goes. Now, it's just the way
it goes. So nice. Thanks Stacy making all this food

(40:50):
that is that is so nice. It's Stacy. Yes, yes, yes, Stacy.

Speaker 17 (41:00):
Awesome.

Speaker 1 (41:00):
That's nice.

Speaker 6 (41:01):
She's just spreading the kindness.

Speaker 1 (41:03):
Yeah, I had the turkey. Yes, so it was very good. Yes, yes,
she she did say dispatch, it was very it was
very nice. Obviously she goes, she goes just because you
guys don get it was very nice. So thank you Stacy.
But anyway, thank you very much. And and while I'm

(41:23):
doing that, while I am saying thank you, I did
do a I did do a video on Instagram just
thanking you guys for for the for the week. As
difficult a week as it was, you know, and you
know it still is. It hits you at different times
obviously and thinking about Laura and the boys. But your
kindness overall and your messages of support and text everything

(41:46):
is such a huge gift. So thank you very much. Okay,
I just wanted to say that here's a text that says,
I can't stay mad at Kelly. I can't. I can't
stay mad at Kelly.

Speaker 3 (42:00):
Women.

Speaker 1 (42:00):
I need to cook for Kelly. See it's like some
sort of weird mist has fallen over for New England Kelly.
You know, but just just drink it in. You're you're
not making it happen. I'm not saying you're trying to
do anything.

Speaker 14 (42:14):
I know you're not.

Speaker 1 (42:15):
I know you haven't asked for a thing. I think
it's a beautiful thing that women want to want to
do that for you. I think it's a beautiful thing,
and men too. Mento. Common man came by yesterday. Thank
you to the common man. By the way, even though
that we canceled lend a helping can, they said we
wanted to do it for you anyway, which was very kind.
Women show many kindnesses throughout the week. We greatly appreciate it, Okay,

(42:37):
and so now it's kind of our turn to return
a kindness to you, and I have to say I
am sorry. I have to start with an apology. I
said we had a pair of front row tickets for
Trans Siberian Orchestra, and we don't, and I'm sorry. We

(43:03):
have four, so it's not just a pair. It's actually
four front row seats for the Trans Siberian Orchestra show,
which is a week friends from tonight. And I don't
know how many years they've been doing this. One hundred huh,
a hundred, yeah, But I did mention just a little

(43:26):
bit ago that on Monday we will have an auction
where we will watch it off a suite that's twelve people,
a suite at s NHWO Arena to see the show,
a meet and greet with the band and assigned guitar,
and some merch for let helping can. That's Monday. But
now this, what we're about to do is a little different.

(43:54):
We can't do the feud, so we gonna do something
little bit different comes from it. I threw out a
question a little bit ago, and I didn't realize how
coolless we are. And I hope that you are better
than we are. Okay, I really do hope that what
we're about to do what we're about to do, you

(44:14):
will be better at it than us. We have four
front row seats to the Trans Siberary Orchestra, okay, And
I thought, how can we give away four tickets? And
I mentioned something you know about TSO, and I said, oh,
trade a securary orchestra. And then I looked at Kelly

(44:35):
and I said, Kelly, what does NATO stand for? I
was a North American trade organization trade so close, so close,
but no, a North Organic Treaty Organization. Okay. Now, if
I looked over to to to uh to Erica and
I grabbed something from from yours, I'm all over the place.

(45:00):
I'm not gonna squize you like that.

Speaker 6 (45:01):
I get it.

Speaker 1 (45:02):
But if I said to you, what does bt W
stand for?

Speaker 4 (45:06):
Bt W?

Speaker 1 (45:07):
Come on, this is text talk big sick women? What
is by the way?

Speaker 6 (45:12):
By the way there you go, so like these.

Speaker 1 (45:15):
Things can be you know, they're not just gonna be right,
it's not big. I wouldn't ask that for the same
reason I'm not going to ask at M because to
me it's automatic teller machine. But Descotie he gave a
completely different answer. Yeah, so this is what this is

(45:35):
what I would like to do Okay, I would like
to do a bit of a quiz if you will
of some well known or lesser known acronyms. Okay, that's
who we're gonna do.

Speaker 6 (45:47):
Hold on, I want to say that the.

Speaker 1 (45:51):
First person gets three out of four, okay, not two
out of three. Three out of four is going to uh.
And we may have to change this because it may
be just too hard, but three out of four you'll
get four front row tickets to the to the Trans

I'm just saying, hold on.

Speaker 2 (59:40):

Well anyway, but we are going to give more tickets away.
There may be some maybe today, maybe not hunt. We
also got the Weird Al Show coming to town, which
I think is going to be gangbusters. I was watching
an interview with Nancy Wilson and a bunch of people

(01:01:09):
from the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremonies,
and I think it was a stern part of a
stern thing. Wasn't stern asking the question? But they asked
about who you think should be in the Rock Roll
Hall of Fame, and he started throwing out names and
they said weird Out and everybody there it was a
bunch of people like heavy hitters, and they're like, oh, yeah,
weird Hell deserves it one hundred percent. And I'm like, yeah, man,
that's pretty cool. That's pretty cool, you know. Anyway, he's

(01:01:32):
coming in July to the Bank and Age Pavilion. Tickets
for that show go on sale today, as well as
Motley Crue Extreme in Tesla. So those shows do get
the block today, all right, and we do have some
tickets we'll give away to those shows. Today would have
been I was driving in this morning thinking about today
would have been the second day of Lenda helping can
and all that entails, all the many volunteers and people

(01:01:54):
that help make that go still going to happen. We
just have to wait and find out how Laura's feeling
and see how things go, and then we're going to
announce a date and we are going to move forward
with it. We are not going to uh not honor
the commitment to ease food and security in New England.
So we are, and Laura would have it no other way.

(01:02:15):
But we're just going to wait a little while to
do it.

Speaker 3 (01:02:17):
We will do it.

Speaker 1 (01:02:18):
And when when you figure out when that's going to be,
it's fine.

Speaker 4 (01:02:29):
It's fine.

Speaker 14 (01:02:32):
Yes, live from one edge of New England to the other.
This is Greg in the morning.

Speaker 1 (01:02:50):
Buzz. That was our bad English, buddy. Gotta plug your microphone? Yew,
that was some bad English. I mean, it wasn't just
not having it on. I unplugged the microphone, all right, Okay,

(01:03:14):
I know I've got it. Every once in a while
it screws into the mic folder and I gotta just
spin it around and tighten. Do me a favor before
this conversation goes in and fix your hat. What Yeah,
that thing looks like somebody threw a pancake on your head.

Speaker 3 (01:03:26):
Here we go.

Speaker 1 (01:03:28):
Better, thank you. I think it was crooked, well, because
it was what stuff going on over here?

Speaker 3 (01:03:40):
All right?

Speaker 1 (01:03:41):
Well, anyway, welcome to Friday. Got the weekly punched and
face coming up because that was fun. South Korea ferry
crashes a New Rocky islet while officer checks phones. You
would think you would think that, you know, when you're
com commanding a ferry and there's a bunch of people

(01:04:01):
on it, you might pay attention. I mean, these eyelands,
don't they don't just pop up out of nowhere. You're
headed in the wrong direction, you know, I know. But
how often do you think that stuff changed? How long
do you checked and over? He doesn't change. Nothing changes
except the wind. That's it. So you have to pay attention. Yes,
but no, No, it's the same route, right. If you

(01:04:24):
crash on the same route, you're a moron. Okay, Greg,
you know you crashed into an eeland. When you go
to Universal and you do the Jaws ride, a guy's
not really steering the way. No, I' the same thing there, Okay,
all right, not I have not with the.

Speaker 7 (01:04:40):
It's on a cable.

Speaker 1 (01:04:42):
It's simple. Have you ever been out of the country? Yes? Really? Yeah? Canada? Fair?
Fair answer, fair answer. Have you ever left the country
over water? Have you ever traveled over water? Have you
ever crossed over a southern border into another country?

Speaker 3 (01:05:02):
Okay, I like it.

Speaker 1 (01:05:04):
If everything's fine, that's fine. I'm not I'm not knocking
that you are go to Epcott, So I feel like
I have been Ecot. Yeah, I feel like I've been
all over the world. One of my favorite Disney parks
is Ebcott. I I I know a lot of people
that love to go to Ebcott because it's got a

(01:05:25):
lot of It's got a lot of things there for
a lot of people. I don't know, Erica, have you
been to Disney? Have you been to h Have you
been to Disney Disney World? Have you been to Have? Yes?

Speaker 2 (01:05:34):
You?

Speaker 1 (01:05:34):
Have you ever been to Ebcott?

Speaker 7 (01:05:39):
It's a new park.

Speaker 1 (01:05:40):
Yeah, they've been working on it for a long time. Yeah.
So if you ever go on vacation, uh, you can
go to Ebcott and you know what, you can bring
someone with you. You could bring with you, you could
someone else. They have a lot of good food, like
monetary cheese. They got all kinds of things with monetary
cheese on it. Okay. And I know it's one of

(01:06:03):
k new Reeves's favorite places to go. Okay, Okay, Q
new Reeves and I love to go to Okay. Do
you ever go to Universal? That is another place? Yeah,
it's just a matter of time.

Speaker 3 (01:06:17):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (01:06:21):
You're a You're fun bro. You are your fun That's
all I'm saying. So, Cardi B, are you following the
Cardi B story? You know what I'm about to say?

Speaker 14 (01:06:32):
No?

Speaker 1 (01:06:32):
Okay, Chris kayl is in the car. CARDI B all
about your CARDI B she got the new baby?

Speaker 6 (01:06:36):
Yes, all right.

Speaker 1 (01:06:38):
I don't want to ever a new mom and birth
of a child. I can't. I got nothing on that, right,
I mean, it's what a beautiful, beautiful thing you love,
Your child's born, it comes from your purse. And I'm like,
I can't even fathom it as a male period. I
know that when my kids were born, it was a
magical moment filled with fear, you know, cause you don't know.

(01:07:01):
I don't know. When Caitlin was born, Yeah, I was
a bit nervous. And the funny thing is in the
Lamage you go to the classes parenting, you know, birthing classes,
and so they separated the men and the women, and
I think most of the guys in the class that
I was in, if I remember correctly, were like, yeah,
I'm nervous. Yeah I'm nervous, and you get yeah, nervous,

(01:07:25):
but everything goes all right. You know, these are professionals,
and you know, you know what they're doing. And then
the baby is born and it comes out and they
look and they say would you like to cut the cord?
And I say yes, right, obviously, anything I can do
to help. You know, got some money off the bill?

(01:07:47):
Can you knock like three bills off of if I'm
helping you technically, you know, and you know you get
to if you want to. The placenta has many uses.
Some people use different things for different things. Cardi B
took the baby's umbilical cord, which, by the way, is

(01:08:09):
I thought it would be very pliable and easy to cut.
I'm not gonna get gross. I'm just gonna say it
was tough. It's cartilage. It's gotta no, it's gotta be
strong because it's gotta no.

Speaker 14 (01:08:19):
I know.

Speaker 1 (01:08:20):
But you do it because it's your baby and your
wife and you love it and you love the child.
Cardi B had her baby's umbilical cord dipped in gold
chrome in the shape of a heart. You can't see
the face I'm making. Just know that I'm making one
one of bewilderment. It's quizzical. You got too much money, Yeah,

(01:08:44):
when you have that much money that you're thinking about
dipping the umbilical cord in gold. Now, this has to
be gotta be fake, right, This has.

Speaker 4 (01:08:53):
To be made like a necklace or something out of it.

Speaker 7 (01:08:55):
Nope.

Speaker 1 (01:08:55):
Uh so, if you, if you, if you have had
a baby in recent years, that there's a lot of
things going on the health trends towards what they call
placenta encapsulation I think is the correct way. The placenta
is dehydrated round into a powder to be consumed in
a capsule. There, it's not gross. It really does have

(01:09:16):
real health benefits to it includes energy, reduced postpartum depression,
very very helpful. CARDI b you know, I'll go for
the gold umbilical cord shaped like a heart whatever. Whatever.
Do I think it's weird? Hell yeah? Hell yeah? Am
I criticizing him? No, No, it's you, It's it's I
don't get it. I don't.

Speaker 19 (01:09:35):
I don't have to understand him. I really miss my
umbilical cord. I grew attached to it. Oh that's good,
thanks Eric. He's proud of himself. He's got his coffee
come up, he's taking aim. He's got a smile like
that was pretty good.

Speaker 1 (01:09:52):
I just laid one down.

Speaker 3 (01:09:53):
There.

Speaker 1 (01:09:53):
You go. You got a little gig A lot of America. Yeah,
apparently it's a it's a place called Mommy Maids m
