49: 18 Year Old Mom Throws Newborn Baby Into Dumpster & Drives Away | WILD Interrogation of Alexis Avila

Welcome back to this week’s episode of SERIALously! In this episode, we are going to discuss Alexis Avila, a then 18-year-old woman who was accused of quite literally tossing her newborn baby into a dumpster. Recently Alexee Trevizo’s case, the New Mexico teen that dumped her baby in the hospital trash can, has gone viral worldwide. In one part of the infamous body cam footage, Alexee’s mother says, “Alexee, don’t you know about the girls who do this to their babies, and they go to jail???” Well, today, we are going to talk about who I believe Rosa was referring to– the girl who did this to their baby and went to jail– Alexis Avila. Alexis’s story is wild because not only was it also in New Mexico, but also, similar to Alexee’s case, a lot was caught on camera, including the crime itself and her interrogation.
