After his day job at a hedge fund, Sal Khan would tutor his 12-year-old cousin in math over the internet. When she moved to a more advanced track at school, word spread. Soon, he was tutoring over a dozen friends and relatives all over the country. His tutoring side project went from a humble YouTube channel to a renowned education nonprofit. Recently, they launched the first AI tutor built on GPT-4 technology.
