في حلقة جديدة من بودكاست "يومي"، استعرض الصحافي محمود مجادلة عبر موقع "عرب ٤٨”، معطيات وزارة التعليم الإسرائيلية التي تكشف عن فجوات واسعة وتمييز بنيوي في الميزانيات المخصّصة لجهاز التعليم، إذ يحصل الطالب في المدارس الدينية اليهودية على تمويل أعلى بنحو 37% مقارنة بالطالب العربي.
واستعرضت الحلقة كذلك موقف لجنة متابعة قضايا التعليم العربي التي وصفت تحسّن نسب استحقاق البجروت لدى الطلاب العرب، البالغة 78.3%، بأنه إنجاز محدود تحقق رغم "التقليصات في الميزانيات وحالة الطوارئ والعنف والجريمة المنظمة"، لكنها شدّدت على ضرورة رفع مستوى البجروت النوعية بوصفها المؤشر الحقيقي لجودة التعليم وتكافؤ الفرص.
وتناولت الحلقة مسودة لوائح جديدة تمنح وزير التعليم صلاحية حجب أو تقليص ميزانيات المدارس التي يُعتقد أنها "تتماهى مع الإرهاب"، وهي خطوة وُصفت بأنها "متطرفة وشعبوية" وتنقل سلطة التحقيق من القضاء إلى الوزير، ما يعزز المخاوف من استخدام القانون لتقييد حرية المؤسسات التعليمية.
