If AMOC stops, northern Europe could experience a drastic temperature drop, similar to that of Canada, causing widespread environmental and societal changes, including massive migrations and a surge in energy demands. They discuss the risks of climate collapse, drawing parallels to past environmental shifts, and highlight the role of behavioural science in solving the crisis.
