From the creator of the popular Crunchy Christian Podcast comes a new show about what it means to be resilient in all aspects of self--body, mind, and spirit. Julie Brow-Polanco, MH, FMCHC, MSHHP, NASM-CPT talks about natural and simple ways to build a resilient and strong temple that is ready to serve. She also talks about emotional and mental resilience and what that looks like from a biblical perspective, while weaving in lifestyle practices that support emotional/mental health. Finally, Julie encourages and equips listeners to be ready to wield the sword of Truth that enables them to stand strong against the enemy of their soul. Julie publishes new episodes every other Wednesday. The content of episodes may include guest interviews, Julie’s perspective on new research or books, fitness tips, education on plant-based remedies, Bible study, and other content Julie feels listeners may need to live 360 Resilient. The first ten episodes are with women business owners and explore their experiences and tips on resilience, some from a Christian perspective. More about Julie: First, Julie is a Christ follower and mother of four grown children who she homeschooled from the beginning. She is a Functional Medicine Certified Health Coach, a Certified Personal Trainer, and holds a Master of Science degree in Health & Human Performance. The heart was always off-limits to surgeons. Cutting into it spelled instant death for the patient. That is, until a ragtag group of doctors scattered across the Midwest and Texas decided to throw out the rule book. Working in makeshift laboratories and home garages, using medical devices made from scavenged machine parts and beer tubes, these men and women invented the field of open heart surgery. Odds are, someone you know is alive because of them. So why has history left them behind? Presented by Chris Pine, CARDIAC COWBOYS tells the gripping true story behind the birth of heart surgery, and the young, Greatest Generation doctors who made it happen. For years, they competed and feuded, racing to be the first, the best, and the most prolific. Some appeared on the cover of Time Magazine, operated on kings and advised presidents. Others ended up disgraced, penniless, and convicted of felonies. Together, they ignited a revolution in medicine, and changed the world.
