What does artificial intelligence think about the species that created it? AI Philosophy is the first podcast to interview AI programs about deep, philosophical questions about humanity to find out how AI has interpreted all of the data it has studied about us. - not because AI has it all figured out, but because we want to know how AI understands humanity. AI has studied human philosophy, history, current events, scientific data, and psychology. It has learned from our greatest teachers and role models - and studied our darkest moments as a human race. So what does it think about big issues like love, morality, technology, the meaning of life, religion, politics, or even what it means to be human? Our host is Kyle Wierks, a philosopher and artist who works in the nexus of artificial intelligence and human interaction. We’ll be talking about diversity, empathy, tyranny, human nature, political polarization, climate change, globalization, and more. Each episode includes an interview with an AI platform about some big, philosophical topic, and then a breakdown by our host, Kyle Wierks, about how we might be able to interpret AI’s responses. One of the central questions humans have been trying to answer for millennia is what, exactly, does it even mean to be human? To better understand how artificial intelligence understands the nature of humanity, this episode will ask AI what it thinks it means to be human.
Is morality a fixed concept, or is it fluid? The issue of morality is an especially important concept when talking about philosophy, and particularly when we're talking about AI. Understanding how AI thinks about morality and how it views human morality will help us learn how artificial intelligence thinks about ethics and morality.
Love is in the air! But how does artificial intelligence understand love? This complex (and essential) human experience is so human that it seems impossible for artificial intelligence to even come close to understanding it. So what, exactly, does AI make of love? Let's find out together!
