Dec My Room is a nonprofit organization founded in 2007 by Susan and Kendall Plank, aiming to enhance the lives of children and young adults hospitalized for extended periods. The organization decorates hospital rooms based on each patient's personal interests, creating personalized healing spaces that patients can enjoy during their stay and take home upon discharge. This initiative has been shown to positively impact patients' well-being and uplift the spirits of families and hospital staff alike .
