(00:06):
Music.
This is our first episode Ang pamagat ng podcast natin is, anong agenda mo today?

(00:33):
Pero, we are talking about podcast.
Kasi nanonood lang. And bakit nga ba, anong agenda mo today ang pamagat ng podcast natin?
Moving forward, ano ba'y pag-uusapan natin dito?
Wala. I mean, everyday life. Kung ano yung pwedeng pag-usapan.
Everyday life, everyday wisdom, you know, street smart.

(00:54):
yung politics let's talk about our lives you know our careers

(01:15):
and especially being a filipino ang dami dami nating pag-uusapan ang dami nating
pwedeng cultural traits versus,
in contrast.

right? Because that's the problem.
Let's not talk about it yet. Are you ready to podcast? Because our listeners are confused. Huh?
You're already talking about that? Why did you podcast?

(02:05):
There you go. That's it. Why did we podcast?
Because we have something to share. That's the reason why we podcast.
Because we have a lot of stories as friends.
That we don't record. That we don't record. record.
Pero we both think na pwede siyang mag-contribute to other people listening

(02:25):
to some conversation.
They can think that, yes, it's like that. Yes, it has a point. It has a point.
Because our perspectives are not always the same in a lot of things.
And often, our decisions or the things we talk about are also talked about by different people.

(02:47):
They don't forget that it could be a good topic. It could be a source of wisdom.
It can be an intriguing topic. It can be stimulating.
pero I never gave it too much thought o hindi ko siya masyadong pinag-isipan.

(03:10):
So ibig sabihin nun, that's why we decided to do a podcast.
Pero you'll never know unless you try.
Kaya nga pinag-uusapan natin. What's the worst thing that can happen if you try something new?
You suck at it. That's what they say. If you expect that in your first try,

(03:32):
you'll be good at it, then stop it.
Because all things are the same. I read a quote that if you're willing to be
great, you have to begin by trying.
And you have to begin by looking like a fool.
Right? Right. Because there's no one who's good at it. Wala namang pinanganak
na basketball player na sila agad. Wala namang pinanganak na isa na silang sikat na pianist.

(03:57):
Lahat yun inaaral over the years, over the course of time. You get better.
Kasi you keep on doing it.
Yun yung sinasabi nating 10,000 hours.
Merong libro na nasulat na tinawag na 10,000 hours.
And the premise ng 10,000 hours is that if you put enough practice into doing
something, Even if you're really bad at it, eventually, you'll be better at what you're doing.

(04:21):
Because you're doing it a lot. Yeah.
Right? Constant practice. Constant practice. That's why there's a saying,
practice makes perfect, but nobody's perfect, so I practice.
That's the saying in the Philippines.
But I think, you know, I beg to differ a little bit on that saying.
I think, naniniwala ako na practice does not make perfect.

(04:46):
Practice makes it constant. Makes it constant. Tama. Practice makes it better.
And we have to strive to be better. Kahit 1% lang, di ba? 1% every day.
1% every day is 36% in a year.
So, kung may ginawa ka every day, sa isang taon, nag-improve ka na din. So, well.

(05:06):
So, sige.
tinatrans ano na nila tinatranslate or
ano nila ina-upload nila sa YouTube so

(05:30):
pero subukan muna natin itong mag-usap-usap lang kasi we have so much to share
I think marami tayong mapag-usapan na maraming makakarelate na habang nata-traffic
sila pwede silang makinig ng podcast pwede silang makinig na kahit sabihin ng mga tao I don't know.
It's like, I don't care. No matter what they're talking about,
it's just a matter of time.
I mean, I don't want to have a conversation that's too scripted. Yes.

(05:55):
Like what we're talking about, what's in front of us?
Recording. Lamesa. Lamesa. The wires. The wires. We don't have a topic.
That's why our topic is...
What is it? I forgot. Why are you doing a podcast? Why are you doing a podcast?
Why are we doing a podcast?
We already answered that question at the very beginning. That you just want to share.

(06:17):
To share, to talk, to hear people's conversations like this.
That when we have time to chat, we can talk about it.
We can go to deep topics. And...

(06:40):
yan, lahat ng tao pwedeng mag-podcast eh.
Kahit kapag barkadahan lang, alam mo naman kapag nagiinuman or magkasama kayo
ng pinsan mo or friends mo, relatives mo, nagbibidahan, that could be a podcast.

(07:00):
Kasi para sa kanila walang sense. And I would tell you that the best conversations
are those kinds of conversations that you do with your friends while you're
having coffee or while you're driving, long drive,
that you suddenly have conversations like that.
And I think those are the richest conversations too, right? Those are the most

(07:21):
enjoyable that you don't forget that you're talking to each other a while ago.
Like now, right? We started that, hey, we want to have a podcast, let's record it.
We have a lot to talk about. so eventually magkakaroon din kami ng frame ng podcast pero sana.

I expect ayokong mag hope
kasi na expect ko na magkakaroon talaga tayo ng listeners in a way na paisa-isa
lang una friends natin pinapakinggan nila then it'll become a family then it'll
become family that's right you'll give the tickets we'll become positive there that's right so so,

(08:09):
you who are listening just subscribe and
share the podcast subscribe and share so that more people will listen more and
if you have something you want to talk about just imagine we'll have time to
see you all just imagine you're listening now our friend you're also with us
in the podcast because that's right we just need a mic naman yung kailangan

(08:30):
natin eh, sa mga napapanood namin,
o nagsimula akong manood, paano kaya mag-podcast?
O sige, when you start a podcast, you should have like mic.
And the most challenging, I think, the most difficult is starting, diba?
Pinakamahirap yung mag-umpisa. Awkward lang siya. Awkward lang siya at first
kasi masyado mo iniisip na ano kayang iisipin nung nakikinig.

(08:53):
Tama, tama. Pero, sabi nga nila, diba, the most important and comment or thought
is the one that's inside your mind.
So, magbuka man tayong tanga sa utak nila or sa tenga nila.
Somehow, for sure. Yes, right? Because eventually, we need to admit and we need

(09:16):
to accept the fact that all people have a sense.
Because sometimes we say, we comment on this, what are you saying?
It doesn't make sense. But you'll be surprised. For example,
let's talk outside the podcast.
Vloggers, technically, they have a saying that you can comment.
Right. Tama.

Especially if the conversation can stimulate yung curiosity.

(10:00):
Kaya itatry natin na mag-produce ng podcast twice a week.
For different topics. But this is our first ever podcast.
Where we just sat down, we played all the mics, and we talked.
Right. And we asked earlier, before we start, what's our title?

(10:22):
Nothing. Basic. What's your agenda today? Which I think is a very good topic
for a podcast. What's our agenda today?
Okay. So, we'll see you on our next podcast.
You're welcome.
